Friendly people, delicious bowling food. Reasonably priced. Fun evenings at the bar with kids around 18. Play pool, pinball, billiards, and enjoy a beer. The interior is "back to the eighties."

We were there with a large group. I personally ordered the Hamburger Special. However, I was served a roll with a burnt piece of meat, an egg, ketchup, and a few bits of onion. Overall, I was very disappointed with the food. The service, on the other hand, was excellent, and the atmosphere was okay.

We were visiting family for Christmas dinner, but unfortunately, the wait in the restaurant is quite long on Christmas Day. I think we spent a total of three hours there, from appetizer to dessert. I also understood that we weren't seated at our designated table, and we then switched tables. I didn't find the food to be particularly extensive, with a selection of fish dishes. It was mainly a mix of fish and meat, with a small variety of vegetables. The desserts, however, are highly recommended, with a wide variety of delicious dishes.

Good food, good service. A bit lacking in atmosphere.

For a relatively small but very nice bungalow park, this is a pleasant restaurant with a wide selection of food and drinks at reasonable prices! The ambiance is a bit plain and dated, but still quite cozy! This is our third time here at this park and we're really enjoying the time with our dog... Unfortunately, we weren't so lucky with the weather this time, but that's not the fault of the beautiful park!

Simply good at a reasonable price

It all looks a bit sad, a bit behind on maintenance. It could all use an upgrade. The food was good, though. The atmosphere is very cozy.

Camped at the Bijlezen campsite. Fantastic. The Grootslag too. Cozy. Nice, friendly atmosphere. Delicious food and drinks.

The schnitzels are good and were actually quite decent. Bowling was fun. The cleanliness and ambiance could be improved a bit. Or rather, a bit of a renovation.

The apple and raisin pancake was fine and the staff friendly, but the space is a bit dated. Also, the faucet in the toilet sink wasn't working properly (I reported this ;-)

Nothing was clean, the floor was sticky, flies were everywhere, the pancakes were dry, and the cheese wasn't even melted. The food was absolutely not good. A complete disaster, never again.

A simple but fine place to eat and drink something, I personally enjoyed a large delicious schnitzel with fries.

Had a great meal at the snack bar and then had a beer at the VAR/bowling, highly recommended!

We ate at the pancake restaurant. The pizza's bordered on bodily harm and the rest was just bad.

We bowled for an hour last night. Of course, we also had drinks and snacks. We booked with a discount voucher. It's a nice space, but the bowling lanes and shoes are quite dated. That's a shame. We won't be bowling there again anytime soon unless the lanes are modernized.

The food at the Grootslag Restaurant is truly delicious. The menu is small but varied. The portions are a bit small for the price. The staff is very, very friendly. The decor seems to be from the 80s. That's a shame, because the ambiance could be much nicer. The outdoor area is also really old and could use a bit of a refresh. Hence, unfortunately, only 4 stars. However, for a nice evening out if you don't want to cook or don't want to go out, I highly recommend it.

We ordered pizza to take away to our holiday home. 15 minutes of waiting was okay but the pizza was definitely a frozen pizza with toppings. 11.30€ for a 30 cm pizza, for quick hunger it was okay but never again.

Small but nice.😍 I really love it there. For us, for example, the snack bar's soft ice cream is the world's best soft ice cream. I look forward to our next visit. There is a small supermarket, snack bar, a restaurant and a bar. Here you can go bowling, play billiards or simply end the day.

Fries were limp. Got ice, asked to pack it to take with me, answer is not possible.

We ordered 2 pizzas, a steak and a burger special to take away. The special thing about the burger... it was rock hard... the pizzas... not really good. The steak... I found it under the sauce... So better not again.

Cozy and definitely good food. We've been coming there for a while and they're doing a really great job. Don't hesitate, just go for a nice meal.

A Michelin star.. Hmmmm no but, If you're just looking for appetizer nachos and a burger, you've come to the perfect place. It's not going to get much better. Very tasty food.

Wheat beer (0.5 l) 7.50 EUR plus tax... There is no drinks menu (probably intentional). If anything, the food was mediocre. Never again...

The hamburger tasted delicious. Ambience Modern but not too much, just as it should be. You can happily spend a few hours with your friends.

Always fun to go bowling and play pool. Although the bowling alley could actually use a little maintenance. But it doesn't affect the fun 👍

Bowling package and 3 course menu tonight. Food was very tasty and more than enough. Perhaps the plaice rolls could have been a little less dry, but were otherwise fine. Schnitzel was very tasty and crispy fried. Baked potatoes and fries freshly baked. Dessert fine. No nonsense atmosphere and very friendly. In short, highly recommended!

Ate in the restaurant yesterday. Pizzas were removed from the plastic and then put in the oven. Looked like frozen pizza. There was a lot of sauce on the burger. Reserved two lanes at the bowling alley today, both not working properly. On 1 court you could not throw a strike or spare because there were only 9 cones. The other lane was crooked and there was also a cone that did not work properly.

Friendly staff. Food is fine. Been a few times already.

We are regular customers at the big store, especially with children you can eat here perfectly, they have a play corner and the staff also watches over the little ones, the kitchen is closed so they can't just run into the kitchen. As a parent, I like to eat out here.

Friendly staff, fast service. We bowled for 2 hours with family with drinks and appetizers. I came here a lot as a child, so nostalgia determines a large part of the atmosphere for me. That's why it doesn't matter that it seems as if time has stood still here. However, the interior could use an upgrade. And the plants needed some love too. Had a lovely afternoon.

Super nice place you can never get enough of

It is exactly what you expect from a holiday village catering industry. Dated but staff is very friendly. Bowling has been updated over the years, but often shows glitches and the balls are all damaged.

We had a very good meal with a group of 14 people. Tasty, friendly service and a good price.

Atmospheric, as soon as you enter, you immediately feel at home. Excellent service by super friendly staff and everything you ordered actually arrived right away. Definitely recommended, also for reunions, family parties, etc. etc. Various rooms, large, small, medium. Definitely our reunion again next year!!

Found the person behind the bar, a bit disappointing, we left after an hour of bowling while we still wanted to play pool, but tables were occupied even though we indicated in advance that we wanted to do it, so whether we could order the table

The starters were good, but the sole fillet could not be recognized as sole, thick breaded chunks. When we reported it, we were told that it was delivered like this, in our opinion this was. no tongue, too bad, we won't eat here anymore.

First we had a nice bowling session. It was a lot of fun! Came back later for dinner. Service was very unfriendly and now says they don't have time even though no one was there. The waiter did not say this in a nice tone. Were with a group of 13 people and had made a reservation. Management told us in a non-friendly tone that this was not the case and that it was yesterday. This was not correct, but the tone of the service was not customer friendly!! Not recommended.

The food was just bad. Dry burgers without ketchup etc. Satespiess warmed the sauce dried dark. Pancakes burnt on one side. Was then served with cinnamon powder without sugar. Not recommendable

We wanted to eat a pizza, it was only available at Pannenkoek en Eethuis - it was a total failure. Frozen pizza was served and the service was poor. There were hardly any guests there and they couldn't manage to clear away the used dishes from the empty tables. Not recommendable.

We are very excited, especially after we were neutral after reading all the reviews, not all of which seemed positive. When you arrive, look for it because it is at the holiday park, but it is well signposted. Parking is free in front of the barrier. There are many options here outside the restaurant, such as snooker, bowling, gaming, etc. But there are also many culinary options, everything under one roof. But this review is about the restaurant, and we really don't mind this. The environment may be a step back in time (which has something to do with it), but the quality, taste of the food, the friendliness & enthusiasm of the employees is superb. We had a really delicious meal and great service. We were also lucky to be able to do this through the Lidl promotion, so at a reduced rate, which is great.

Had pancakes and pizza with the family. It was quite difficult to serve everything properly in one go. They forgot a pancake. Too quickly the order is completed with a quickly produced pancake that was undercooked. A third is served reasonably well. This means that the bacon was well done and the pancake was just barely done. Staff preferred to work in the kitchen rather than with the guests.

Hamburger has a bad taste. Fortunately, very friendly service.

Indeed very outdated, food quality is not good. Meat is not as it should be and covered with simple sauces. There were no other customers and we still had to wait half an hour for the food. This can be much better. Friendly staff.

A simple but nice place to spend an evening. We had a great time bowling. The course was old, and when the first ball hit the gutter we were allowed to throw a total of four balls for some unexplained reason, but that didn't spoil the fun. The gourmet food was excellent and the service friendly. It all looks a bit older, and there was still quite a smoke smell in the bar, but hey, that also makes it atmospheric.

The bowling alley is next to it, and there are also 2 pool tables and 1 billiards table. Don't expect too much from this, everyone still has the first sheet on, sheets are damaged, but the enjoyment of playing should not suffer from this.

A very old bowling alley, but very nice. You go back to the 70s/80s. (or 60's!!) Great!! Real nostalgia!! I was completely back in the 80s when I was on holiday there. Little had changed. Nice !! The service was very good. We will go again soon because it is so much fun!!🎳😀
