Chinees Restaurant Shi Woo in Ede-West

We've been coming to Shi Woo for about 25 years now and are always very satisfied. Tonight we ordered our favorites again: chicken spring rolls, fried rice, chicken satay, and a portion of pangsit. And we both agreed that the chef really outdid himself. The pangsit is already, in our opinion, by far the best in Ede, but everything else was also truly delicious. Fresh, well-cooked but not overdone, delicious satay sauce, tender meat, and very well-seasoned. We enjoyed it, thank you so much!

More than enough to eat, tasted good.

Only come here to buy tipan without shrimps with bami because it is really super tasty, highly recommended, a big 10 +

Delicious food and this has been there since I can remember

We've been getting the same thing for years: BSBI pangang, bami, mini spring rolls, and koe Lou yuk. Delicious. I'm not a fan of satay myself, but they love it here at home too. Fast and hot; calling is preferred.

Very fast delivery, the food was hot and plentiful. The taste was also good. Exactly what you expect from a meal at a Chinese restaurant. We were a bit hesitant after reading the negative reviews (late delivery, lukewarm food), but that was definitely not our experience. The meal was delivered within 30 minutes!

The food was delicious and more than enough! The service was excellent; we were regularly asked if we wanted more drinks. The restaurant looks neat and inviting. In short, we'll definitely be back!

Disgraceful. Ordered over €40 worth of food and had to pay an extra €2 because I requested a different meat for a combination dish. When I got home, I literally got three strips of meat for that. They gave me far too little of everything and not enough. And when I called, they told me, "You'll just have to order more." Last time we went here.

Last time ordered mihoen goreng with chicken fillet was not to be had, today 8c Loempia with babi pangang limp just disgusting!!! Been getting various dishes there for a long time it was always delicious. Maybe new chef ???

Ate Indonesian rice table, was very tasty, the older lady in the service seemed a bit grumpy. Not good service, the bowl was put on the table and we had to put everything in it ourselves that we wanted to take home. But the food was very good.

I have known this Chinese restaurant for a long time. I always enjoyed going back there whenever I was in the area again. The Babi pagang and the spring rolls were always great. Unfortunately not this time. The spring roll was not crispy as it used to be and the Babi pangang was not nearly as crispy and tasty. I'm afraid I won't be going back here again. They were never actually friendly, but you accept that until the food is good

A good Chinese restaurant in Ede is actually hard to find anymore, but after a bami satay and a spring roll (basic first) you'll be left wanting more! The boy and lady behind the counter are fast/polite and everything goes smoothly. It is a very traditionally decorated place where I don't often sit down for the ambiance, but I will give them another chance for takeaway and I hope they will continue to exist for a while. Een Chin. Ind. Rest. zoals een Chin. Ind. Rest. hoort te zijn. Zelfs de folder is klassiek. Uitgebreide keus, snel klaar voor ophalen maar bovenal enorm lekker. Houden zo, voor hopelijk nog een fiks aantal jaren!

Ordered by telephone and despite the large order it was ready on time. I was too early so I ate some soup. Tasted good but thought €5.80 was a lot for a small cup. Furthermore, the ratio in terms of food and price was good, there was enough. Very friendly people and many customers for takeaway. So there will be more people in Ede who had a nice meal that evening.

One of the better ones in Ede. Good food! Please call first when picking up, otherwise you may have to wait a long time around dinner time. Take-away area very close to the restaurant part, therefore somewhat unpleasant. Would rather not eat there myself.

Chinese was disappointing everywhere in Ede. Few vegetables in the noodles and nasi and the portion is less. And then I thought I'd give it a try a little further on, I used to go there regularly 25 to 30 years ago. SUCCESS I may say. Thank you and definitely see you soon.

The food was delicious, even though we ordered vegetarian, we received extra meat dishes in return. A quarter past 6 takeaway turned into taking food home for 7 hours, but the waiting time only increased. Usually everything goes well, but apparently today was a setback.

Picked up food from Shi Woo today, while eating we noticed that the atjar tasted terribly sour. This atjar was in a separate container with two pineapple pieces and under babi pangang. The atjar turned out to be spoiled. Contacted by telephone and this answer was given: "No, that is not possible, atjar is sour." Yes, nice and sour, but not like this. "What do you expect from us?" I said "Well, nothing wanted to indicate this and perhaps apologies, but if you ask me this now, I am concerned about your service and customer satisfaction." Well, that was not possible, it was very busy and they did not have time for this. This was my last time at Shi Woo, which was a pity. This had never happened with the old owner, very sad.

It's about takeaway. Ordered by telephone: Wantan soup, babi pangang noodles and chicken ketjap rice with prawn crackers. We thought the food was fine. It could have been a bit warmer/hotter, especially the soup. Furthermore, we had a nice meal with the 2 of us.

To wait long. Time indication far exceeded after telephone order.

I've been coming there since I was little... it's one of the few places in Ede where time has stood still. And it is also attractive in terms of price.

Ordered buffet B for 26 people. Quantity more than enough, tasted very nice. All our guests were very satisfied. Worth repeating.

Food has always been good so far. But don't sit there: everyone who calls or comes to pick up goes first. At some point I went to the bar to get our ordered tea and the manageress still answered the phone despite my question. Outrageous: I saw 10 people come and go for an order before we even had a drink. “Yes, I'm busy,” was all the lady said.

We ate well and more than enough here.

Een nog oude stijl Chinees Indisch restaurant. Die ook een paar Surinaamse gerechten heeft. En de prijs/kwaliteit is goed op elkaar afgestemd. Vandaag 2de kerstdag een Surinaamse moksi met nasi gehaald. Zeker een aanrader als je van die keuken houdt.

Meestal ophalen. Goed bereid. Elg lekkel. Maar er is een restaurant.

Klassiek Chinees restaurant. Ik heb hier heerlijk gegeten voor een redelijke prijs. Geen rare over-de-top concepten, fusion of andere innovaties, gewoon Chinees zoals vroeger.

Altijd goed bij Shi Woo, dit restaurant is al jaren een vast adres voor afhalen of ter plaatse eten. Gewoon erg goed !

Pag. 132 uit het boek Chin.ind. spec. rest uit het boek van Mark van Wonderen. Zaterdag 8 juli hebben mijn vrouw en ik hier gegeten. Terwijl het buiten meer dan 30 graden celcius was, was het binnen in het restaurant heerlijk koel. De inrichting van het restaurant is zoals een Chinees indisch restaurant hoort te zijn. Wij hebben het volgende gegeten: * Tin Pan Kai met nasi. Ter plekke werd de saus over het gerecht gedaan wat een spectaculair gezicht oplevert als iedereen aan tafel dit ook kan zien. * Gon Boa Kan. Lekker gerecht (alleen de paprika was iets te overheersend). Conclusie: goed eten in een koele omgeving.

Geen maand of weekmenu. Ik kreeg verkeerde product mee, en hoeveelheid was bedroevend. Een van de slechtste Chinese restaurants waar ik geweest ben. En duur

Sinds lange tijd weer een keer loempia’s gehaald. De loempia met kip was groot en goed gevuld, alleen de kip was bijna niet te vinden, wel veel groente. De smaak was lekker, maar het mag eigenlijk geen loempia met kip heten.

Beste chinees in Ede. Altijd lekker eten. Zeker een aanrader. Tip van te voren telefonisch bestellen, kan zeer druk zijn

Ik heb dit alleen als afhaal restaurant meegemaakt en dat is erg goed ! Iedere keer is het zoals verwacht ,erg lekker !

Het eten is ok, over sfeer kan ik niet oordelen.

Twee Mihoen met Ossenhaas was vooral veel mihoen, jammer want we hebben vaak beter gekregen op dit adres. Volgende keer beter?

Erg druk bij het afhalen.... maar, het is niet voor niets. Top kwaliteit! Al jaren kom ik er graag!

De zaak is ingericht als een gemiddeld chinees-indisch restaurant: weinig smaakvol. De gerechten zijn van een andere orde: zeer smaakvol ! Een aanrader zijn de Tin Pan gerechten. Ze staan wel bovenaan de prijslijst maar je krijgt dan ook wat. Ook aan de gerechten aan de onderkant van de prijslijst wordt veel aandacht geschonken. 'gewone' bami en nasi zijn meer dan alleen maar witte rijst waar wat reepjes prei en gebakken ei doorheen zijn geroerd. Als een restaurant daaraan al veel aandacht schenkt dan zit het met de rest meestal ook wel goed. Een (afhaal)bezoekje is zeer de moeite waard.

We hebben al verschillende maaltijden afgehaald. De porties zijn voldoende voor 2 normale eters. Meestal eet ik de volgende dag nog een beetje. Het smaakt allemaal prima.

Je kunt hier lekker eten, het restaurant ziet er gedateerd uit, maar het eten is goed van smaak en de porties zijn groot genoeg. Wij hebben hier al verschillende keren afgehaald en het was elke keer lekker.

In mijn herinnering heb ik lekkerdere afhaal gehad. Deze keer saté met nasi en extra portie pittige saus. Het eten had weinig smaak. De pittige saus was volgens mij babi pangangsaus en niet pittig. Tegenvaller. Satésaus was flauw en de kipsaté ook. Echt een tegenvaller.
