I ordered food at 4:45 PM and two hours later I contacted them to ask where it was. Thuisbezorgd had canceled the order and refunded the money. That was great, but now we have no food. It's a strange solution. If I hadn't contacted them, we would still be waiting.

A delicious and varied weekly menu. Enough for 3 people, maybe even 4. Not too expensive and available for pickup in 10 minutes.

On their website, you can specify your desired delivery time. I specified 4:45 PM. When I called them (at 5:15 PM) to ask where my order was, they said: "We don't deliver until 5:00 PM. Please change the delivery times on the website."

The food is amazing! People don't come for dinner until later in the evening.

I ordered the monthly menu today, but it was disappointing. The food was lukewarm, almost cold, and had little flavor. Very disappointing, but it wasn't the first time.

Sunday, 12:10, they just opened. But I was standing outside washing the windows. The owner actually preferred to continue washing his windows instead of helping me. What a grumpy Chinese guy! I had to wait outside because there was no staff inside. Then the food. I ordered tenderloin with shrimp and vegetables. My Thai friends advised me not to eat the vegetables; they looked disgusting and limp. Even the meat was inedible and there was a lot of tofu in it. Luckily, Shi Woo will reopen next week. I will never come back here.

Tried it several times, but the food is incredibly disappointing. The worst tjap choy I've ever had, mostly long, limp strips of green cabbage. I'll have to find another Chinese restaurant.

Ordered Babi Pangang with some side dishes. The Babi Pangang was quite greasy and had little to no taste. The sauce was also tasteless and you could taste the fat in the sauce. The Pangsit Goreng was not tasty, you could not taste anything of what was in it, no taste. I will not order here again.

Ordered two hours before desired delivery time. And it was still almost an hour late. After about 40 minutes I called where it was. No apologies or anything, we were just told it would be coming soon. The food was okay but the service was very poor.

Food always arrives 15 to 30 minutes late. So keep that in mind.

Unfortunately, you are not called back when you indicate that something was wrong with a dish..it is picked up and then you hear nothing more. Missed opportunity because I will not come there anymore now.

Ordered at 17:28 on Saturday evening. Received confirmation email, received email at 17:34 'your order is currently being prepared in our kitchen'. So don't trust the emails you receive.

The toilets could be cleaned better. There were supposed to be vegan dishes but they didn't know the difference between vegan and vegetarian.

After waiting 2 hours we went to the restaurant to check the status of our order because the phone was not answered. The entire counter was full of orders and our order had just gone with the delivery person. In the end, the delivery person had not yet left and fortunately we were able to take the order home ourselves. Out of goodwill we received prawn crackers and the delivery costs back. The food was lukewarm in the end and we put it in the microwave ourselves.

This is the last time we have had meals from them!!!.Last Christmas we had a delicious meal there, with I think a good chef...But this year it will no longer be a Christmas dinner at 'New Garden'.. Forgot the prawn crackers for the fourth time in a row now. When I called I was told it was too busy now, so I'm eating now. Ordered today at 4:30 PM for home delivery of Chinese food. Preferred delivery time was 5:45 PM. We were happy when the food finally arrived at 6:30 PM. It turned out that they did not include noodles, but nasi. Fortunately, they delivered it immediately. But no compensation for the long wait or for making a mistake in the order. I should have added a slice of prawn crackers or something... The food itself was tasty and well prepared. The chicken with black bean sauce, satay and cow lu kai were really tasty!

We had a rice table at New Garden. Good price-quality ratio. Nice gentleman who served us. Comparatively, a lot was taken away and (on weekdays) the restaurant area was not that full. However, this is recommended.

Sorry the food was inedible!!! Everything was undercooked and tasteless. The staff who take the order are not friendly at all. And no, this is not worth repeating!!! Waste of money!!!!

Do not order here! Meat is terribly tough, food is bland. Best restaurant in Ede. No trendy cargo bike stuff. Just good and lots of food. They don't experience shrinkage here. Every self respecting person should dine at New Garden. The interior more than makes up for the view of the surroundings.

Very poor service, ordered on May 12, 5:20 PM. to be delivered at 6:10 pm, but no delivery at that time. At 6.25pm. I called, I was told it was busy, it's Mother's Day, so that makes sense, so I ordered early enough via my own website, where I could choose the time and 6:10 PM was free. At 7:10 p.m. Haven't seen any delivery yet, no message, nothing at all, so I called again, order had already been paid, so you just have to hope that it will be delivered at some point. Jet wasn't ready yet but would be with me in 20 minutes. And at the last minute of those twenty minutes the delivery person was there. The quality of the food was terrible, tough, lukewarm, or cold and the receipt provided simply said 6:05 PM. deliver. So my food has probably been kept warm somewhere all this time and simply not delivered. Very bad company, it was my last order from them. Never again this misery. Then I have all costs not reported in advance, which you will see extra when paying, such as bag costs, packaging costs and delivery costs, if you order for almost €40. On top of that there are the costs for the transaction and you are presented with a bill that is full of surprises. It is simply undesirable that customers are not informed. You will also not receive any compensation for the much late delivery. So things can go wrong on a busy day like Mother's Day, but this feels like a structural problem of not having things in order. Never order anything there, maybe pick it up, but that is not a guaranteed success either, I know from the past. So things haven't gotten any better in all these years. It's a waste of money to order here from New Garden Ede, so don't do it if you have any doubts.

Chinees afhalen. Was nog lang niet klaar op de afgesproken tijd! Stond heel veel klaar wat niet bezorgd werd vanwege te kort aan personeel. Chaos is het daar en de dame met bril die je helpt is zeer onvriendelijk.

After an unclear story in a language that we could hardly understand, we thought everything would be fine. After the Thuisbezorgd app had been indicating for 30 minutes that the delivery person could be there at any moment, the doorbell rang. Well, good food you might say. But it wasn't that kind of party. We missed more than half of the order. So just call again. He would just call the delivery person because there should be 2 bags. 5 minutes later the delivery person was there again with the missing bag of food. After we asked if it was still a bit warm, the delivery person's response was "huh what". After struggling to remove an earplug and repeating the question, the answer was, "You can feel that yourself." Furthermore, the delivery person thought the tone (there was no tone) was not normal and had some comments and then drove away. Would the order be correct now? No of course not. We still missed the mini spring rolls and the prawn crackers. Then you can think let it go. But that still costs almost 10 euros. So let's call again. They would deliver it again. 20 minutes later there was another delivery person. Would the order now be complete? Of course not, there was still no prawn crackers, but they can stick that in their hole. So this was the last time we ordered here.

On Christmas Day our Christmas dinner fell through. Fortunately, we were able to get a takeaway meal at New Garden around 8:30 PM, which exceptionally waited for us! In addition, the food was really delicious!

Place to be if you want an old-fashioned Chinese experience in the restaurant. Furniture and atmosphere are still as they were back then. And just delicious Chinese food.

Besteld en konden het 20 minuten later halen. Bij afhalen was het ook idd klaar. Werden vriendelijk te woord gestaan. De babi pangang was droog en was smaakloos. Vlees niet goed doorgeroosterd. Ik miste wel 'sambal bij?'

Net heerlijk een Chinees Indische rijsttafel gegeten. De gerechten zijn smaakvol bereid, en de bediening is zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij. Eenechte aanrader.

Nog lekker "ouderwets" naar de Chinees. Heerlijke gerechten en goede bediening.

Namen maandagavond 13-3 de telefoon niet op

Eten was flauw en laf. Ik verwachtte geen authentiek Chinees eten, maar wat kruiden mogen ze wel gebruiken. Het was wel knapperig en warm. Door de drukte was er een bijgerecht vergeten.

2,5 uur op het eten gewacht: iets voor 6en besteld, zou er om half 7 zijn. Om kwart over 7 gebeld, na 6 x proberen ivm steeds weggedrukt te worden eindelijk iemand aan de lijn die aangaf dat het er zsm aan kwam. Uiteindelijk kwam de bezorger om iets na half 9; dat is dus 2 uur later dan aangegeven. Het eten was wel lekker en goed van smaak, maar helaas niet echt warm. Ook zat de kroepoek waar ik extra voor heb betaald er niet bij! Als je hier dus Chinees wilt bestellen bestel het dan ter plaatsen en wacht daar met betalen tot je het hebt gekregen.

Gisteren hebben we hier voor 3 personen besteld. Op zaterdag kan het best iets langer duren. Dus na ruim anderhalf uur werd ons eten bezorgd. Dikke misser. Want er was een compleet weekmenu vergeten voor 2 personen en wat bijgerechten. Ik heb meteen gebeld en er zou meteen een nieuw weekmenu worden geregeld. Dat duurde helaas nog eens 45 minuten!(restaurant zit op 5-10 minuten afstand). Dus dat "meteen" viel nogal tegen. Wat mij vooral enorm stoort is dat er geen excuus is geweest en ook geen compensatie. Ik had er vrede mee gehad als ze excuus hadden gemaakt voor hun fout en een voucher om volgende keer een weekmenu gratis op te halen o.i.d. Niets van dat alles. Het eten was prima, maar de service vond ik slecht. Dus hier bestel ik niet meer. Er zijn voldoende andere opties.

Het eten was kwa smaak goed allen het is zo jammer dat weer het eten niet warm wordt gebracht het is al weer de zoveelste keer dat het niet warm is of het staat te lang op de zaak of de fiets bezorging is geen succes zorg nou is dat jullie hier iets aan gaan doen het is echt jammer als het niet warm is

Ik bestelde vandaag 2 weekmenu's en toen er werd gevraagd of ik verder nog wat wou bedacht ik me dat ik de kroepoek was vergeten. Dus toen zei ik dat ik graag nog kroepoek wou hebben. Toen kreeg ik via de telefoon een minder prettige versie van de reactie waarom ik toch niet gewoon in een keer kon zeggen wat ik wou. Ik zat hierna sterk te twijfelen om mijn eten op te komen halen. Dat doet verder niet af aan de kwaliteit van het eten dat was echt om van te genieten.

Normaal bezoeken we een ander Chinees restaurant maar dat bleek op maandag gesloten. Dan maar op zoek naar een ander in Ede. Bij New Garden konden we terecht. De bestelling smaakte overigens goed maar er was iets wat echt niet kan.... als je een kokend hete loempia (ook als je hem even laat uitlekken) in een piepschuim bakje legt... wat denk je dan dat er gaat gebeuren?? Dat piepschuim begint te smelten, niet dat het vloeibaar wordt, maar kleine piepschuim deeltjes blijven aan die kokend hete loempia hangen... nogal slecht voor de gezondheid, piepschuim in je lichaam.... dit kan echt niet !! Een loempia behoort gewoon in een papieren zak te worden gedaan.. als het even kan met perforaties zodat de hete lucht weg kan en de loempia lekker knapperig blijft en niet zompig wordt.... zo moeilijk is het toch niet ????

Na een uur gebeld waar eten bleef. Toen stond bezorger na kwartier aan de deur saus door de tas kwam wel heel snel terug met nieuwe alleen kroepkoek vergeten. Meneer aan telefoon boos snap ik ook wel. Het eten was gelukkig heerlijk.

One of the best take-out restaurants in the area. They offer a lot of different dishes from the Chinese-Indonesian kitchen. They are happy to make soups vegetarian if you request it, and quality of food is great. Not much to complain, except that it can take a bit longer to get your food ready than indicated. Heerlijk eten, lekkerste loempia’s en babi pangang. Alleen is de bezorging echt waardeloos. Zitten nu al een half uur te wachten, bellen lukt niet want ze zijn telkens in gesprek of hangen op… Uiteindelijk na 8 pogingen een zeer onvriendelijke man aan de telefoon gehad die het alleen geen zak leek te interesseren. Had een bezorger afgebeld vanwege de regen; we moesten maar begrip hebben en hij gooide de hoorn erop. Jammer doet echt afbreuk aan het heerlijke eten.

Meer dan goed eten. Smaakvol en lekker. Wij bestellen er vaak, en is ons nog nooit tegen gevallen. Beveel het van harte aan.

Goede afstemming over de bestelling en perfect nagekomen tijdsafspraak. Alle maaltijden waren voortreffelijk. De fashong en buikspek waren goed van smaak. De Surinaamse bami was ook heerlijk met lekker veel groenten. De vleesgerechten bij het maandmenu waren ook erg smaakvol.

Was er voor de eerste keer maar dit is voor mij de beste Chinees van Ede

Zeer goede loempia's. Alleen wel jammer dat de bezorgers zich te goed voelen om een mondkapje te dragen.

Eten was lekker, dat is het belangrijkste..
