Important note: From the parking garage, turn right, especially on Saturdays, because the adjacent shopping center closes in the evening. So don't follow Google Maps, as that will lead you through the city center.

A charming restaurant with friendly service. I had crispy chicken pieces with garlic. The dish was incredibly salty, and I had "unhealthy bowel movements" for two days afterward.

After a minor mix-up with an order, everything was resolved very well and kindly! Excellent! 👍

Fantastic food. The breaded chicken with garlic, salt, and pepper is a favorite, but the yakitori teriyaki was a surprise—so delicious, and with breaded zucchini on the bottom 👍👍

Too bad it's not possible without giving a star, otherwise I would have done double "without" a star!!! For the first time in my life I ate such bad, tasteless Chinese food 🤮, without your money!

The hot food was good, but the dessert ordered did not arrive, forgot to let us know. Waited 35 minutes, oh sorry, do you still want it? So no.

Called a few times to order food, you get a grumpy lady on the phone, then you stand at the door at 5:05 PM, they are too miserable to open the door for you, but why does it say 1700 open, service is very poor here, this was the 1st and last time for us, then I prefer to drive to the Chinese in Alkmaar, you get even better food for your money.

Had food here twice before, just like this time, nothing but compliments about the quality. What people say is correct: reviews are often only written after a bad experience, as in this case. But I am not including this incident in the numerical rating, and I especially hope that something will be done about it. Ordered food by telephone and indicated a desired pick-up time. As agreed, I was there at 5:45 PM ready to fill my basket. 25 minutes later, everyone who was already in the waiting area when I entered had already gone home, now someone who came by on spec and ordered at the counter while I had been waiting there for a while received his order. I then asked: could it be that my order has been forgotten? No, was the answer, everything is going well, we will do the small orders first, your order will arrive very soon. I understand the likely idea that small orders are taken in between to ensure that the waiting area does not become overcrowded, but this of course seems a bit annoying, as there was no time left in between, since the customer who had agreed on a time had already been there for 25 minutes. Well, there were still a few last-minute customers for me, so after 43 minutes I could take the hot meal home. If I can indicate a time and it may not be convenient, please say so. But please don't make your customers wait for 45 minutes. If this had been my first visit to the Libelle, it would have been my last. Hoping that this was an incident, there is still confidence in the next time, but this must really be better.

- The amount of food portions (across the various menus) was too little... (I only spread a peanut butter sandwich at home). - The atmosphere of the interior was modern... ; had little to do with 'Chinese'. - The atmosphere of the waiting staff was terrible; perfunctory/disinterested/don't look at me/no joke/no smile/talk quickly to get it over with quickly... - The quality of the menus was just as poor... ; in terms of taste and breadth - If you sit at this 'luxury' location (on the water) you expect that the wooden entrance to the restaurant is algae-free, or at least not slippery - it is very 'hospitable', but unfortunately, they don't care. (A customer had a nasty fall on the wooden stairs and slid back down the steps). We will NEVER go again. Advice: DO NOT GO. Fake crap... a kind of ali-express... Experience it for yourself! Or... give the money away to a good cause...; to me!

Super cozy. Mother and daughter have created something beautiful in a special location on the water, especially in the summer. With very friendly employees, this is a very pleasant, well-maintained restaurant where you can enjoy excellent food and drinks at a reasonable price. Perfect!

Had nasi chicken fillet and it was tasty

Vreselijke service. Eigenaar was onbeleefd en agressief toen hij werd geconfronteerd. Ze geeft de klant de schuld van de slechte servicekwaliteit. Ik zal hier nooit meer eten. Ik zou niemand aanraden hier te eten.

I really enjoyed the Christmas dinner with my family. The dishes served were fine. The team works like a well-oiled machine. The price/quality ratio is good.

Terrible restaurant! Not recommended. We celebrated my mother's birthday here and also her death anniversary last year with her 5 children. A big disappointment in terms of food and service and ridiculous prices! No welcome; no prawn crackers on arrival, no nothing. I say boycott this restaurant. Not customer friendly at all and the food is simply NOT worth the money; too expensive. A really big disappointment!!!!! 👎

Afhalen en dan € 1,50 vragen voor plastic. Vraag je 1,50 zoveel begint ze te tellen en irritant te lachen 1, 2, 3, 4 , 5. Zo wie zo een belachelijke maatregel van onze falende overheid. In Broek op Langedijk, een top Chinees, vragen ze € 0,50 en je krijgt meer bakjes.

Prima eten met een bijzondere uitstraling. Niet echt Chinees maar eerder modern.

Een mooi restaurant met prima maaltijden. De bediening is uiterst vriendelijk en efficiënt.

Gewoon de beste Chinees van Heerhugowaard. Op Koningsdag een heerlijke afsluiter van een dag vol verrassingen.

Eerste wat opvalt is de moderne sfeervolle inrichting. De menukaart is compact en overzichtelijk. Voorgerecht Dim Sum uit stoommand met vlees en garnalen. Vlees was heerlijk, smaak garnalen vlak. Beide Tiepan met ossenhaas en licht pikante saus als hoofdgerecht. Voor ons niet pikant genoeg dus sambal erbij gevraagd. Helaas was ossenhaas te ver door gegaard en zat er vooral ui en bosui en in verhouding weinig bamboescheuten en paprika bij als groente. Bediening en service was prima. 2x Voorgerecht, 2x hoofdgerecht 2x cola en 2x tonic totaal 65 euro betaald.

Hele slechte ervaringen 3 gerechten niet geleverd na anderhalf uur wachten. Okay we bellen fouten kunnen gebeuren. En toen begon het echt als HOND behandeld alsof het mijn foutcwas dat er niet was geleverd conform bestelling. €10,- zou worden overgemaakt 😅wanneer ????

Overheerlijke gerechten. Vriendelijke bediening en nette prijzen. Voor wie eens wat anders wil dan de standaard Chinese gerechten, hier heeft men veel Kantonese gerechten. Een absolute aanrader.

we hebben heerlijk gegeten bij Libelle: uitstekende gerechten, een vriendelijke bediening waarbij niets hoefde en alles kon. Een informele sfeer waarbij de opstelling van de tafels voldoende corona-veiligheid bood. Voor ons de eerste kennismaking met Libelle; daar komt zeker een vervolg op.
