The fish and chips are the best I ever had till now. Also the lady cook was friendly and kind. Everyone in the hospitality industry should take her as an example.

I got fish and chips here on Saturday. You can taste that everything is of good/fresh quality. Generous pieces of fish, served with well-fried chips and a slight hint of vinegar. The lady only speaks English, but that makes it authentic. Give this a try!

Finally found your page! Proper authentic British fish and chips.....something that’s been hard to find in the Netherlands, especially down south. As a brit expat, this genuinely feels like a taste of home. Now on a mission to find the van again and make it my regular weekend chips stop. Easily the best fish and chips I’ve had in the Netherlands.

Both delighted and heart broken to discover Kerry's fish n chips. Delighted because it is delicious, coming from a Cornishman, and heartbroken because she is leaving Rotterdam. Can't wait to return!

I don't usually write reviews but this experience forced me to do so. Firstly and most importantly, the food was just awesome (her tartar sauce is to die for). The fish and chips were perfectly crispy and mushy peas was also nice. The portion size is great for a person (I got the medium sized). Special shoutout to Kerry for her warm welcome and the lovely conversation. Even if you don't like the food (which is highly unlikely), you should visit her just to meet an absolute sweetheart and have a nice chat. Tip: Do try the chips with a bit of vinegar, absolutely elevates the flavour

Incredibly DELICIOUS, love the fish and peas but love the chips with vinegar, salt and gravy even more xD They're really really delicious and very filling, and the owner is also super nice! Highly recommended!

i’m so glad i got to try chippy chips during my visit to rotterdam! it was the perfect way to end my visit. kerry’s trailer is adorable and whimsical, and she was a joy to chat with. tartar sauce was the best i’ve had. mushy peas were sublime. the vinegar with the chips was a great match and the batter on the fish was crispy yet fluffy. all in all, a splendid english style fish and chips!! the moment i finished my meal, i wanted to have it again. can’t wait for the next time - hopefully chippy chips is still around. even if kerry moves back to isle of man, i’ll still visit!!

Easily the best fish and chips one can possibly get in the Netherlands. So many 5 star reviews already tell the story. Authentic British style perfectly crispy fried cod with light batter, thick cut chips as they ought to be. Properly finished with mushy peas, malt vinegar and tartar sauce. What more could one ask? Lady is really friendly to talk to and the service is just top notch. Freshly prepared to order. I even got lucky as I she offered extra huge portion for my order of large when she got to know I had been to her usual spot but couldn't find her as she was at oogstmarkt that day. Cherry on the cake. I know where to get my fix for authentic fish and chips now.

Great fish & chips shop. Very friendly owner and great service. The fresh cod dipped in thin batter and then perfectly fried, giving it a perfect thin and crispy crust. Tartar sauce freshly made on-site (I was a bit early). Great fries and mushy peas. A place to remember !

Super good fish & chips! Now back for the second time. The fish is soft and flakey on the inside and has a thin, crispy layer of batter on the outside. I am also a huge fan of fresh fries. All this at a very reasonable price, highly recommended.

Cheesy chips and gravy was better than at home. Chips were crispy on the outside and pillowy on the inside nom nom nom. Didn't even get a before pic! And no chips were left behind. Lovely lady owner said the potatoes were end of season but they were banging still. Imagine in season potatoes 🥔 dayam!

Brilliant, one of my favourite fish & chips stop of all time. I had the cod & chips with some mushy peas, cheddar and gravy- and it was phenomenal. The chips remained crispy and fluffy as chips should be. That gravy is perfectly salty along with the cheddar, the mushy peas were so comforting and the cod was just fantastic. The Miss working there was super nice as well, def coming back once in a while, and for the price its worth every penny.

Typical British fish and chips at Rotterdam! Definitely reminds the classic fish&chips on the UK. All is made there freshly after you order. Takes a little bit of time but worth it. The location is unique because it's not in the crowded city centre. 2 minutes walk from Weena famous roundabout

UPDATE: The operating hours are 17:00-20:00 fri/sat/sun I arrived there several hours too early at lunchtime! The owner has updated me via FB message......Was here in the summertime and the fish and chips were excellent. I've returned here the last 2 Fridays and the business isn't here. Does anyone know if its moved location.

Like a taste of home!! Very tasty and quenched my British Fish n Chip shop craving since I have not been able to travel back.

The best fish and chips there is! Her mushy peas are as authentic as you can get. Marrow ones she uses! No where else does it like she does. And her fish batter is light, crispy and soo good with lashings of Malt vinegar. It’s like being in a good chippy shop in the UK. This is a gem in Rotterdam( well in the Netherlands with lock down and all the limitations of not being able to travel). Her gravy and cheesy chips is worth the added calories to the hips😉! My son and I absolutely love it.

Absolutely delicious! Better than any fish & chips I’ve had in the UK. I really miss proper fat chips and have tried to find some in NL, but was always disappointed before (Also Dutch kibbeling is quite greasy). The batter at Chippy Chips is very light and crispy, the chips are proper sized and the gravy is homemade. The cheese, chips & gravy is to die for and I’m not even usually a cheese fan 😂 I drive 85km for these chips and it’s well worth it! If you’re craving decent fish & chips then you need to visit this place
