Wij gingen naar Chocolaren voor koffie met iets lekkers en werden bij binnenkomst verrast door het uitgebreide aanbod en de prettige sfeer. De koffie was goed maar Wij hebben echt genoten van de taart, chocolade en macaroni. En niet te vergeten het glaasje advocaat met slagroom. En dat alles zeer schappelijk geprijsd Het personeel is vriendelijk en oplettend. Echt een aanrader.

A cute place with a nice atmosphere and quick, nice service in the centre of Laren. You can have a traditional tea or coffee with pie but also go for High tea or buy pralines. Two level small place and seating options outside.

Recently had a high tea at Chocolaren. We all enjoyed it so much. Highly recommended!!! We started with a delicious homemade soup. Afterwards we were served delicious savory sandwiches and at the end a beautiful course with all kinds of sweet treats from chocolate, cheesecake to macarons. Real attention has been paid to this!! The staff is hospitable and nothing is too much, the food and delicious tea are of top quality and you are also in a super nice cozy place!! I often come for a nice latte. This is always a treat but now you have made this day special! Thank you Chocolaren!!

We have been coming here for a cup of cappuccino for a number of years. It was always very good but lately the quality has been variable. Not even good the last few times. The coffee is no longer of the quality we were used to. Yesterday we probably had coffee there for the last time. It was really bad, basically a tub of warm milk. The cups came back full and when the lady asked about it and we said it wasn't tasty, she said yes, I recognize that! She just made us pay for both cups of coffee. I think it's poor service, it's a shame that they are the victims of their own success!

Review updated: Enjoy a nice coffee on a small terrace. It's a shame that the quality is not stable; I have experienced a few times that the strength of the coffee is disappointing. Also this afternoon. Reported but manager was not impressed. Then find another place to drink good coffee.

Prima koffie, geserveerd zoals op de foto. Iets duurder dan gemiddeld, maar met een glaasje met slagroom / drupje advocaat en een glaasje water op een gezellig terras.

Voorheen kreeg je een kannetje thee voor €4,00 Kannetjes serveren ze niet meer uit want die vielen nog wel eens kapot. Dat begrijp ik! Nu krijg je een glas thee voor €4,00 Dat vind ik wel heel erg duur.

Best coffeeshop in Laren without a doubt! Coffee is served with small glass of advocat, glass of water and two delicious chocolates. The cakes are nice too and both ambience and location are perfect.

Wat een verwennerij voor chocolade liefhebbers. Heerlijk genoten van gebakjes en warme chocolade melk met slagroom. Ze hebben o.a ook tosti's , bonbons en een uitgebreide theekaart. En niet onbelangrijk zeer vriendelijk personeel.

Mooi verzorgde winkel mét een uitgebreid assortiment. Vriendelijke eigenaresse. Een aanrader.

De beste koffie en heerlijke bonbons.

Hier wordt je echt verwend, heerlijke koffie, verslavend lekkere bonbons, hele vriendelijke medewerkers die van je bezoek echt een feestje maken!

Op een klein terrrasje verscholen tussen de winkels zit Chocolaren. Je kunt er heerlijke bonbons kopen en koffie/thee drinken. Wij hebben er koffie gedronken. Wat een verrassing: naast het kopje heerlijke koffie een glaasje water (en we hadden niet eens espresso), een klein glaasje met iets alcoholisch (advocaat?) met een grote toef slagroom en ook nog een feestelijk chocolaatje. Hadden we dat geweten dan hadden we niet extra vier bonbons besteld 😳. De bonbons waren heerlijk en ons is ook nog gevraagd waar de voorkeur naar uit ging, puur/wit/melkchocolade en wel of geen alcohol. Zoveel service voor heel weinig geld.
