We enjoyed the 3-course restaurant week menu. It was a delicious starter, good pizza (though a bit tricky to cut), and a wonderful dessert. The lemon sorbet was beautifully served in a frozen, hollowed-out lemon. There was some confusion in the kitchen about whether the 3-course restaurant week menu could be served (they thought it was only on Mondays??), but the friendly waitress resolved the issue and served it promptly. 😊

We had delicious pizza with the five of us, and enjoyed sitting outside thanks to the lovely temperature, always nice here. Thank you.

The pizza was delicious but the service was worthless. The restaurant made a mistake, because instead of the tiramisu I ordered, I received a small bag of sauces. I can only come and pick up my tiramisu because it was delivered by Uber Eats. Otherwise, I would just have to file a complaint with Uber Eats… Why, they brought what they made, didn't they? Money weighs heavily on this, a real shame!!!

We ate on-site in early October. Friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere. The red wine was soft and round. The appetizer platters are tasty, original, with excellent Italian flavors and of good quality. The pizzas are delicious, well-topped, and have a nice thin crust. The much-praised tiramisu was also delicious, but we shared it because we were already quite full. Finally, we ordered an espresso and a house limoncello to go with it. Unfortunately, we don't live really close by, but if we are in the area again, we will definitely be back!

Ordered a pizza for takeaway, it was baked right on the spot, so straight out of the oven and on the table a minute and a half later! Top quality.

There is a sheltered terrace and air conditioning inside; from the outside, it does look a bit like 'quick bite won't be fantastic'. We were the only ones on the terrace at first, but we still weren't forgotten; the service was really top-notch! Super friendly, she came by regularly but not every 2 minutes, and spontaneously. Additionally, the food was truly of Italian quality; the menu already listed fior de latte mozzarella and san marzano tomatoes, so you basically already know you can expect quality. It's a shame that, in my opinion, the exterior doesn't quite reflect that. We had a very nice evening, thanks!

What a fantastic experience at this place in Hoofddorp. The atmosphere is very nice and the food is truly delicious. The pizza was perfectly baked and generously topped with various types of mushrooms. Everything tasted very fresh and authentic. Even the dishes I took home still looked appetizing. I will definitely be back here soon.

I ate here with a group of girlfriends and I will definitely be back. On Monday evenings, there is a set menu price of €25.00 for 3 courses, and you can choose anything from the menu. The pizzas were exquisite, and the tiramisu was divine. The staff was friendly and courteous. This restaurant is highly recommended!

We thought: let's have some nice lasagna the way it's supposed to taste... my wife and I are often in Italy, but you won't find this taste and consistency of the sauce there; in other words: what was this? The only reason could be that we used the microwave because the food was delivered lukewarm. Maybe those 30 seconds were just a bit too much.

Just ordered 2 pizzas. A couple of the best pizzas we have ever eaten. Even in Italy we have had worse than this. Good ingredients, nicely seasoned with a very thin crust. Really tasty. The only downside, in my opinion, is the 7 euro delivery fee for Thuisbezorgen. That does deter us from ordering too often when competitors offer free delivery from a certain amount. But we will definitely stop by the location again to try some more.

We had focaccia and dessert here; it was really delicious. The food is of good quality and the service is very friendly. We will definitely come back, at least for dinner!

Today I had one of the worst experiences ever in a pizzeria. We arrived at 6:00 PM on a public holiday Monday with two small children and ordered 3 pizzas and a bruschetta. From the start, we had clearly asked for everything to be served at once as soon as it was ready. The bruschetta arrived quickly, but after that, it seemed as if our table was completely forgotten. We waited MORE THAN AN HOUR for our pizzas while we watched other tables being served as usual and takeaway orders constantly going out the door. Meanwhile, we sat there with two tired and hungry children, which made the situation extremely stressful and frustrating. We spoke to the waitress about the delay and the only thing we were told was that it was “very busy,” but that our order would arrive soon. We then waited another 20 minutes. In the meantime, new guests came in, sat down at tables in front of and behind us, and within 5 minutes they already had their pizzas on the table. Ours still hadn't arrived. Honestly, it was humiliating, disrespectful, and hugely disappointing. What makes it even worse is that I have always been a loyal customer. I have often ordered takeaway and delivery here and always chose this place. But after today's experience, you have completely lost me as a customer. Terrible organization, bad service, and absolutely no respect for customers. The pasta, in particular, was cooked perfectly and the sauce was full of rich flavors. The pizza was also excellent: a thin, crispy crust with fresh toppings. The service was attentive and professional, without being pushy. The staff took the time to explain everything and gave good recommendations. In short, a fantastic experience. The pizza was delivered cold. The price of the pizza and delivery costs are high, so the least you should expect for that price is that your food arrives warm, it seems to me, especially since I live quite close by. But instead of providing good service, the box states that you can heat up your pizza yourself if it arrives cold, as a sort of disclaimer; truly ridiculous! The pizza was actually very tasty after I heated it up, though. That's why I'm still giving it 3 stars, purely for the quality of the pizza.

Very sweet waitresses. I was with a friend and daughter and we hadn't made a reservation. A nice table was prepared for us. We ate very tasty, authentic Italian pizzas and a few appetizers. The Tiramisu was also delicious. Not too sweet, just right. Had a very nice evening and excellent food.

Luckily, we used AI to ask for the best pizza place nearby, and the female staff member was very helpful in showing us the menu as soon as we entered. We ended up sitting down and eating pizza 🍕. The female staff member was very attentive, explaining which pizzas were good to us 🫶🏻. She was very friendly and attentive to tourists 👍🏻. I really admire how the locals each ordered a whole pizza! The pizza was decent, but the crust was far too soggy because it hadn't been in the oven long enough, so although the flavors were reasonable, it was a limp mess. The service wasn't very friendly, and it took too long for drink orders to be taken and brought. We were also seated in a very uninviting spot. So, definitely not worth repeating and a huge disappointment given the positive online reviews.

This is the only place if you want real Italian food! We searched for a long time for a restaurant that serves real Italian recipes, not just "Dutchified" versions. This is where the Italians themselves come. And if it's too far for you, there's also a branch in Aalsmeer. 😉

Then they gave us drinks we never ordered. Finally, we ordered our food and have been waiting for an hour and a half. We already asked how long it would take, but we have no idea. Meanwhile, tables around us that arrived an hour later are already being served. We have nothing more to discuss at the table, so I'll write a review! Hopefully, you'll learn something from this.

Terrible service. We sat for a total of three hours and were only asked for drinks upon arrival. The appetizer (focaccia with pesto mayo and an insalata mista) took 50 minutes to arrive. After the appetizer, it took another 30 minutes for the pizzas to arrive. Then we waited 25 minutes for someone to clear the table and take our dessert or coffee/tea orders. We finally ordered a tiramisu, but it didn't arrive. After waiting 15 minutes, we simply asked for the bill. This should be much more efficient in a pizza bar. The food was fine, but the experience was truly awful. You're simply not seen as a customer; the waitstaff was clearly preoccupied.

I really don't understand where all these good reviews are coming from. I ordered two pizzas, melanzane and tiramisu. One pizza was way too salty, the other had more crust than toppings. It went straight in the bin. The melanzane was the worst. Three slices of eggplant and a dollop of tomato sauce thrown into a bowl, with bread for four people on top. The tiramisu was okay. Maybe the chef was having a bad day, but no more Christiani for me. And the photo? No, I hadn't even taken a bite. This is what you get for €17, ridiculous.

The limoncello and Aperol Spritz were both delicious.

We especially had the focaccia Romana and focaccia Caprese—delicious! The Caprese is especially recommended, full of flavor and fresh. The pizza dough is well-made. Smooth and full of flavor, baked crispy. The ingredients complement the flavors well. Truly excellent pizza! The service was smooth. The staff was attentive, friendly, and up for a friendly chat. All in all, definitely a restaurant to try.

We are happy to have a new and real Italian pizzeria in Hoofddorp! We tried their pizza both takeaway and on site, and it was approved in both cases. Excellent dough, well cooked thin base and first choice ingredients. We had to wait a little before being served, but it can happen on a Saturday evening with a busy restaurant. Also, a few nice words need to be reserved for the staff: smiling, friendly and thoughtful. We have rarely found such kindness in the Netherlands. Honorable mention: even if it's not clearly written on the menu, they can add vegan cheese on the pizza! A great plus! UPDATE Nov.2025: still my favourite pizzeria! We've been there many times and they never disappointed us.

Worst pizza, took a take away and the pizza had pieces of glass in it. Asked for pizza with no mushroom and aubergine but the pizza was full of it and asked the pizza to be not cut and pizza was in pieces when we opened the box.
