I had the best chicken sandwich of my life here. If you’re looking for authentic Portuguese food, then this is the place for you.

can't go wrong with the chicken here. we're light eaters so we got a half chicken for the two of us and the person who served us kindly cut and portioned everything out into two plates 💕 the chicken is well seasoned and delicious and juicy, we got roast potatoes too - lightly crisped and salted skin, hint of herb, that slightly sticky texture when you bite in. if you asked me to imagine the perfect roast chicken + potatoes this would be it. my partner added piri piri sauce that was on the table and it was EXTREMELY spicy (he enjoyed it). but just warning you that if you see the bottle with the little skull, they mean it 😅

I loved the atmosphere, the food, the service, and especially the location. It was my first time at Markthal! I'll definitely be back.

I chose our place in Market Hale, where the food was delicious and the sandwiches were excellent. We chose octopus with smashed potatoes, migas, piri piri chicken, and a bifana, all accompanied by an alvarinho. We finished with Portuguese cream. It's worth it.

Just had food here for the second time and tried the piri piri chicken and the eberico steak. They sell the better sandwiches in Rotterdam here. They are delicious, freshly prepared and contain a lot of well-seasoned meat. The staff are friendly and helpful. I'll come back again soon. A tip for the big eaters. Order two right away because the sandwiches are not overly large and once you have tasted them you will want more.

Here you really feel like you are in Portugal. The food (my favorite: bifana!) is truly Portuguese and above all… very good. The wines are sublime, the people are extremely nice and you also hear the beautiful Portuguese language. Instant vacation!

Got chicken yesterday and it was bizarrely tasty and authentic. The woman who helped me was extremely friendly. We ordered 1 whole chicken and she even gave us some more chicken. Side dishes were also very tasty

I have eaten at almost every restaurant in the Markthal and this is the best. I ate the most delicious Piri Piri sandwich and absolutely delicious chicken. And of course had to top it off with an amazing Pasteis de Nata. Couldn’t have asked for better service either. Just a great experience overall. Will be back soon for sure.

Had a nice meal at Sandrina polvo a Lagereiro today. Super fresh and tasty. Definitely come back here more often. They also have a kiosk in Leidschendam in the Mall of the Netherlands with all kinds of tasty things. And the wines they sell are superb!!!

As in the Iberian Peninsula you don't eat anywhere, and we attest that our best meal in Holland was without a doubt at this Portuguese Churrascaria. Congratulations!

Had the best peri peri chicken sandwich of my life today! Was so delicious and will definitely be back again. The price at 8.50 is cheaper than most of the other stalls and you're getting really good food. The bread was also tasty.

I stopped here to have delicious grilled chicken piri-piri, with a lovely fresh salad and a decadent vinho verde. The final spark was the desert, the best egg pudding with a refined hint of lemon....the ladies behind the counter are very friendly and know exactly what they are doing, food with love that conquers your heart. It's a pity we don't live in Rotterdam, but we will be back for sure! If you live in Rotterdam you must try the food in this place. Well done, and we wish you all the best!👌❤️

Had a delicious piri piri chicken sandwich, incredibly tasty, you can eat it with your fingers, the white wine was also extremely pleasant, just like the service.

Last Sunday, I was really craving franguinho assado (piri piri chicken). Tried Adega and it was worth it. Piri piri chicken sandwich eaten on the spot. Whole Piri piri chicken, potato and vegetables for home. In addition, I also bought bottles of Port and received a bottle of piri oil for free. The owner is patient and you are served with enthusiasm. See you soon!

I was there with my sons last weekend and we ate Churrascaria's chicken piri piri with potatoes. But also octupus salad and migas (traditional potuguese salad) with a cold glass of wine, all delicious!! What a treat! We will definitively be back...

Al twee keer heerlijk gegeten hier. De kip is super sappig met een heerlijke marinade. Hier kan je gegrilde groente en aardappeltjes bij bestellen. Ook dit is super lekker bereid. Prijzen zijn erg goed. Een halve kip met 1 bijgerecht is geschikt voor 2 personen en kost 12,50. De eigenaresse is super lief. Een aanrader dus!
