Ciao Express in Wijk 11 Binnenstad

Unfortunately, food quality has gone down since about a year. Pizzas thin, like they should be, but seem to be rushed out of the oven.

I ordered a pizza on Sunday evening. When I placed my order, I was told it would arrive in about 45 minutes. It ended up being an hour and a half, and then a lukewarm, limp pizza arrived. I tried calling, but no one answered, and no one responded through Facebook Messenger or their own chat. So this was the last time.

Ordered pizza on Sunday at 6:50 PM. It was busy, so it would take about 40 minutes. At 7:55 PM, there was still no message that the pizza was on its way. Unable to reach by phone. Finally, the pizza arrived at 8:30 PM. Sauce was completely soaked through the crust, making it taste more like soup. Not what we've come to expect from this pizzeria. A refund would be a solution if you can reach them. A much better experience in the past.

Disgusting. The pizzas were soggy and had almost no ingredients. After calling about it, they were very rude and told me this was their standard. Not worth the money.

April 21, 2024 Ordered Pizza Calzone and Pizza Quattro Cheese. Both pizzas tasted decent. However, neither pizza was crispy, but limp and soft. As a result, it wasn't tasty at all, even chewy. Price-quality ratio: high/poor. Won't order from here again. San Marco/Ciao isn't what we expected.

I ordered pizza from here yesterday, as I often do, because they're so delicious. Unfortunately, upon delivery, I discovered that two of the three pizzas were wrong. No problem, mistakes are human, and it happens. I called, and within 15 minutes, three new pizzas were delivered, and the "wrong" pizzas were sent to the neighbors because #nofoodwaste. Great business!

Got pizza for lunch. Super friendly staff, and I have to say, it's been a while since I've had such a delicious thin-crust pizza with wonderful Italian salami. Fantastic!!👍

Waited an hour and a half for my pizzas. Two pizzas, on a weekday... Never again.

Ordered 2 pizzas again yesterday. My Capricciosa was very sparsely topped. 4 slices of salami, 2 slices of mushroom, ham... not seen and 2 pieces of pepper. Too bad, because previously the pizzas were always well topped. Order somewhere else from now on. Update: Dear Giancarlo, The reason I didn't call immediately was due to (annoying) private circumstances. So not that I ran out of calling credit or anything. I could have written that I only had 3 pieces of salami. I didn't do that, because there were 4. I could also have written that there were 4 slices of mushroom. I didn't, because there were only 2. That's not an exaggeration, that's what I got. However, your response is rather childish. You are placing all responsibility on someone who simply, sincerely, expresses their dissatisfaction. You are completely ignoring your responsibility to check with yourself where the core of the complaint lies. And it is with you. Yet not once do you say that you will do better in the future to meet your customers' expectations. Seems like a missed opportunity to me. Kind regards, Mark

Na sluiting van San Marco / Marco Polo hebben we de pizza hier geprobeerd. Zeker niet slecht, maar wel een stuk minder lekker dan eerstgenoemde. Oa iets te veel kaas voor mijn gevoel.

Onlangs out of the blue hier besteld, helemaal top!

Got a delivery, the pizza,wow the amount of disappointment. It was not cut, cold, and so gummy it felt like chewing gum. Honestly, you would be much better just taking a frozen pizza from the super market I guarantee you will enjoy more.
