Very disappointed with the customer service. My order was cancelled by the company itself because the product was unavailable. It was immediately promised that I would get my money back, but months have passed since then and I still have not received my refund. In the meantime, I have exchanged more than 35 emails with customer service. Each time I receive a friendly response with the promise that it will be looked into, but then nothing happens. It seems that only standard answers are sent without anyone actually resolving the matter. By now, it is no longer just about the amount for me, but primarily about the way customers are treated. After so many promises and months of waiting, I still have not received a refund. I find that unacceptable. I hope this review ensures that my case is finally taken seriously and that I get my money back after all.

I have already been called four times after placing an order to say that there is no vegan shawarma available for the vegan shawarma pizza. As one of the few vegan options, this is a real disappointment. If something is sold out, just take it off the website?? In the meantime, I have switched to other pizza places, because this is really too unreliable.

Ordered food via home delivery but received nothing, then found out they are closed. Calling gets no answering but you still lose your money, and then being so cheeky as to say the pizza was delivered while nothing was delivered, jerks.

NEVER ORDER HERE. Worst branch. Products are often not delivered. I cannot contact Thuisbezorgd, nor can I contact them. The delivery driver said I would get my money back, but that never happened. I also contacted New York Pizza online about this branch, and they never emailed or called me back. Worst service ever, and on top of that, I never got my money back.

Delivery is almost always half an hour or more late. When contacting them by phone, you are told in a blunt tone that the delivery driver is "on the way." The pizza is often lukewarm or, in winter, cold.

HUGE disappointment. Cold pizzas and dry dough bullshit. Missing ingredients. Delivery guy almost ran away crazy. And in the photo you see a cheesecake or something? This is what you pay for. On the line you get told BS about being too busy? Even at Brownies & Downies you get better food *and* service. Don't order here, people.

Ordered here again after a while and immediately knew why I don't order here anymore. It is terrible; had to wait 1 hour and 45 minutes. The delivery driver took four trips and apparently couldn't handle it. Pizza cold and no service. It used to be much better under the previous owner, a shame.

On May 18, I ordered a pizza. After a long wait, I received a call informing me that my order had been cancelled for a very insignificant reason. To this day, I still have not received my money back. I have contacted them three times by now. Each time, I received a different promise: first within 3 days, then within 5 days. In the meantime, nearly two weeks have passed, and nothing has been refunded yet. The person in charge refuses to speak to me, and only the employees are contacting me. Unfortunately, I keep receiving conflicting information, and promises are not being kept. I expect my money to be refunded as soon as possible.

Horrendous. Ordered and got a call they couldn't deliver as they did not have the ingredients for at least my particular pizza. There is a doner shop down the street they could have asked. I declined to get an alternative pizza as I didn't want anything different. So I kindly asked to be reimbursed. Almost two months later I am still waiting for my money. The owner/franchises refuses to get in touch. HQ is disappointing. To me - especially in this day and age - it is unfathomable for a business to be this poor in terms of service, customer care and resolving issues adequately. Today, service is business which they lost not only from me but friends and family equally so.

They don't even provide new food if THEY ruin it. The food was cold and hard, suddenly there are no ingredients, the delivery person says nothing, they can't make new food because it's too busy, they are not helpful. Do not order here, they are not worth your money. DO NOT ORDER from these people.

There is always something wrong with the order. One time a part is missing, another time the pizza is cold or half raw. Last time, we didn't even get the right pizzas when they were delivered.

Many reviews tell the same story as my experience. Waiting for hours, calling, told it was on its way, waited another 45 minutes. The pizza eventually arrived lukewarm and even worse than a frozen pizza. Even though this used to be a really good place. Unfortunately, this was the very last time.

Bad experience with New York Pizza. I received a burnt pizza, and after contacting them, I was told to send a photo to a mobile number. Afterwards, I was casually told that this was a “very normal pizza” and received no replacement. This was not the first bad experience. Previously, delivery also took much longer than indicated, while I was told multiple times that the pizzas were “on their way,” which turned out to be incorrect.

Jan 1, 2026: Was supposed to arrive between 18:45 and 19:00 but only arrived at 19:30. It can happen, but the pizzas are cold. We’ve been waiting so long hungry, so we just heated it up ourselves in the microwave. Last time here; last time we also had to call 3 times and it took an hour longer. May 23, 2026: Tried again anyway. This time the pizza was rock hard/almost burnt. Called and sent a photo, response: "that’s how it’s supposed to be, we’re not doing anything about it." We then indicated that we would file a complaint and his response was: "Do as you please" (with a beautiful accent....) I don't know what kind of staff works there, but my god 🤣 Now it really was the last time....

Widespread disappointment; after a large order and even higher expectations, we unfortunately did not get what we had hoped for. We indicated one allergy, so we expected a pizza without onion, but this was not possible. It can happen, but after contacting New York Pizza, there was no reply other than "we are busy." Unfortunately, this was not the only disappointment, as another pizza also arrived folded in half in a box (see photo). In short, a cold shower without a proper rinse.

I saw via the tracker that my pizzas had been ready for shipment for about fifteen minutes. I called to ask about this, and the representative on the line said that they were “coming out of the oven right now.” 22 minutes later, I received my pizzas. The cheese was dry, and the pizzas were not warm. You can't tell me they just rolled out of the oven, and if they did, the delivery driver didn't keep them warm. He didn't have a pizza bag or anything like that either. All in all, it took almost 2 hours before I had my pizzas. A shame. I don't begrudge you, but at the very least, grant me warm pizzas.

Messed up our order, missing items. They were out of the pizza we wanted and replaced it with a cheaper pizza without refunding us. Delivery driver was unfriendly. The pizza isn't bad however it was slightly burnt. Overall bad experience. Wouldn't recommend ordering here.

When ordering via Thuisbezorgd, I ordered two hot dogs without sauce; however, I received two with sauce delivered to my home. I immediately called NYP Delft and pointed out that both hot dogs had sauce on them. I got an employee on the line who spoke to me politely, but then the conversation was taken over by a man who offered me two free hot dogs with my next order. When I indicated that I wanted two new hot dogs, the employee started arguing and raised his voice. After I stated once again that I wanted two hot dogs and stood my ground, I was told: "Okay, you're getting 2 new hot dogs, right? Have a nice evening," in an irritated tone, after which the phone was angrily hung up before I could thank them for the solution. Additionally, it arrived cold, the pizza wasn't cut, and I could have thrown the chicken pops through my kitchen window. Rude service and poor quality food! To my surprise, I did receive the new hot dogs.

The last three orders have all gone wrong, and unfortunately, that says enough. The first time, we called and were promised that a note would be made and that we would receive free garlic bread with the next order. However, nothing was included with the second order. When we called about this, no one knew anything about it. Today we gave it one last chance: we ordered a Double Tasty and two other pizzas. Unfortunately, the Double Tasty turned out to be just one of the two flavors, and the other pizzas were soggy. After contacting them by phone, the kitchen initially stated that everything had been prepared correctly and that we had to send photos to a mobile number. When we provided proof, it suddenly turned out that the ingredients for the second half had run out and that the kitchen itself had decided to make just one variant. When we pointed out that our other pizza *did* contain those ingredients, the mobile number suddenly turned out to belong to a delivery person who knew nothing about it and could not help us any further. For us, this is the last time. What was once a top-notch establishment has unfortunately become a major disappointment.

You call them and you get dropped off every time. I got my pizza and my husband's went wrong again. He was supposed to get a new one, but so far he hasn't received anything and he has been waiting for an hour. We are never ordering from here again.

Things are really going downhill at New York Pizza Delft. For the last 3 orders, parts or a portion of the order were missing. A nice way to make money: making people pay but not delivering.

Never order from this branch. Never received the pizza. After the phone call, they literally told me I was out of luck. I subsequently contacted head office, but to date, I have not received any compensation.

I ordered a hot dog and buns, and the stated delivery time was 30-45 minutes. After an hour, I had to call to ask where it was and received a standard answer that it was almost there. After an hour and a quarter, half of the order arrived, so I informed the delivery driver, and I had to report this to the business number. I called the business number and was put on hold for 5 minutes because he was calling his delivery driver. He indicated that he was going to prepare and bring a new one, and this also took an hour. In the end, I waited 2 hours for my food, and it wasn't even tasty.

Just ordered 2 pizzas. I have been familiar with New York Pizza for years. This branch, however, delivers pizzas using ingredients that do not come from Europizza Products (NYP's supplier). This branch chooses to put their own products, sourced from elsewhere, on the pizzas. They even make deliveries without NYP boxes. NYP headquarters really needs to look into this, because these pizzas were inedible!!!!!

I ordered 2 pizzas. I ordered for 19:45 and didn't receive them until a quarter past 9. Once they arrived, they were lukewarm, hard, and lacked flavor. I had expected an apology from the delivery driver for the delay, but to no avail. Not a good experience, so I will never order from New York again. From now on, I'll order from Domino's or something similar.

This was supposed to be a half/half Mexican spicy and 4 cheese pizza. Part of the pizza is bare except for the sauce, and the Mexican spicy pizza is missing at least the jalapeño and bell pepper, while the 4 cheese pizza is missing at least the gorgonzola. After contacting them, it turns out these toppings are out of stock. Why can I order the pizza then, and why am I not informed about this so I can choose something else? I have now been offered a discount on my next order, but that is of no use to me at the moment, and I don't know if I want to order from here again at all.

Well, I never want pizza again, goddamn it. All the pizzas were mixed up and the delivery guy just threw that pizza in a box. That fucking weirdo didn't even come to the door. I had to pick up my damn pizza myself. Everything was wrongly topped.

I had an incredibly bad experience with New York Pizza Delft. The delivery was truly unacceptable. The delivery person didn't even come to the door, and upon receiving it, it turned out that all the pizzas were lying loose throughout the car. As a result, they were completely shaken up. As if that wasn't bad enough, the pizzas were also cold and topped completely incorrectly. This is ridiculous and demonstrates a total lack of care and professionalism. Delivery really late! Calling after the predicted delivery was 10 minutes, it turns out the driver is on their way. After being inside for 15 minutes, the driver still hasn't arrived. Google Maps indicates 13 minutes by bike. Terrible service. Is it the kitchen staff, the operator lying, or the driver... it's something every time!

I'm done with New York Pizza. If you order and go to pick it up, the discounts aren't applied. If you order and have it delivered, it doesn't arrive on time, so they change the times themselves, and when you call, they aren't very friendly on the phone, and when they do answer, they hang up immediately without saying another word... saying it's on its way but actually it isn't... pizza finally arrived, but half of it is missing. I understand it can be busy, but as a customer, I can't do anything about that. Even though it's tasty, you've lost me as a customer.

Ordered pizzas. Called 10 minutes after the indicated time. The delivery person just left. By bike it's 13 minutes! The delivery person arrives by car 25 minutes after that! Now I understand once again why I order after half a year. But thanks!

Waiting 2.5 hours for pizza – and still nothing received. I ordered my pizzas 1.5 hours ago, and by now it’s been 2 hours without anything being delivered. When I called, I was told that the order was “on its way,” but even after that, nothing has arrived yet. Right now, I have been waiting for 2.5 hours for a pizza that still hasn't been delivered. Truly terrible service and absolutely no clarity or apologies. This is not how you treat customers.

I ordered a pizza yesterday and it was delicious

I regularly order from New York Pizza. My pizzas are always delicious and well-made, sometimes a little less spicy, but then you just pop them in the oven for a quick, hot pizza. Today I also ordered Cinnamon Bread, and we only received the bread. A quick call to the store, and the situation was resolved very quickly and kindly by immediately bringing over a new dessert. For now, 5 stars, not because the food was outstanding, but because I think an average of 2.6 isn't enough for this place.

After waiting an hour, I finally got a call to say they wanted to START (!!!) on the pizzas, only to find out they were out of gluten-free pizzas. Just being told it would take a long time would have been nice. Let alone missing ingredients. Then I got a very rude, curt man on the phone, who clearly didn't care. It's one thing to be late, but the attitude of that ragtag bunch on the phone just made it worse! So awful!!!!!!👎

I received two cold pizzas. I called about it, and they were incredibly difficult. They even asked me to take a picture of how much of each pizza I'd eaten, otherwise I wouldn't get a new one. The old pizzas had to be returned, otherwise I would have received four free pizzas (which isn't true, as I paid when I ordered). They also couldn't tell me when I would get new pizzas because they were so busy. Very unfriendly and rude staff.

My order was cancelled because there wasn't a gluten-free base. I've been complaining for five weeks now about getting my money back. They say they're working on it at the head office, but then you hear nothing and have to follow up on it yourself. I don't recommend ordering from here.

The pizzas were cold and delivered an hour late. The employee on the phone didn't understand the address in Delft. The order status was "delivered" even though the order hadn't arrived yet.

The delivery driver had trouble finding the address, which meant the pizza was delivered far too late and cold. But New York Pizza Delft provided excellent service and resolved the issue to my complete satisfaction! And I'd never ordered such a delicious vegan pizza before. The atmosphere also gets 5 stars because my evening wasn't ruined by a cold pizza!

Ordered a gyro pizza. It arrived on time (about 45 minutes). The pizza was cold, so I had to reheat it. There were so few gyros on it that it was more like a margarita. I didn't taste the gyros at all. I wouldn't order from here again.

Lately, the staff has been incredibly rude when you call about your order not arriving on time, and on top of that, the pizzas are inedible. They look like a cold, uneaten piece of leather! Yuck and disgusting, I don't recommend it to anyone!!!

We ordered the pizzas, and the app said it would take between 30 and 55 minutes. After 1:30, I called and was told the pizzas were coming out of the oven and would be there in 20 minutes. Forty-five minutes later, I called again and was told it would take another 2 or 3 minutes. Unfortunately, it still hadn't arrived, and I had to call back another half hour later to ask clearly if the pizza was still coming because otherwise we wanted to get other food, and they were very rude. Fortunately, the pizza arrived another 10 minutes later, so in the end, it took just under 3 hours. If this had been communicated from the start, so be it, but lying to people like that is simply unacceptable.

This used to be a really great place. Pizzas arrived on time and tasted great. Now it's a real lousy place. Several pizzas are never in stock (can you just let me know through the app?). I just ordered a pizza and got a free upgrade to a 30cm size. Received the pizza, definitely not a 30cm size. It's a real shame they're so bad now. They've lost me.

A few weeks ago, we ordered three pizzas. After paying, we received a call telling us that one of the three pizzas couldn't be delivered. The other two arrived freezing cold. Despite asking politely twice, we didn't get a refund, not even for the pizza that couldn't be delivered at all.

Please don't order here! I had the absolute worst experience of any pizza places in Delft. We ordered home delivery. The app mentioned 20-30min. Tried to call them after 1.5h but the phone number on Google and their website was not working. When I went to the shop to find out what happened, my pizza was finished but already cold. I told them they could keep it and wanted to have a refund. Not possible, since the system had the pizza already booked as 'out for delivery'. Also no response on my email complaints to New York Pizza service department. I will not order here again and would not advise anyone to do so

I had to wait two hours for the pizzas. I called and was told, "Do you have a moment?" Then they let me wait on hold for 10 minutes. All I heard in the background was slang and stressed employees. When the pizzas arrived, they were poorly cut. You can't tear off the slice with your hand, but the whole pizza rips like you're grabbing a piece of meat in the Middle Ages.

I really enjoyed the food. What I didn't enjoy as much was that one of your rude, rude, and antisocial employees, Adel Khodakaram, didn't treat me well and started yelling and hitting a girl nearby. I didn't like it, so I need to do something about it quickly. Thank you!

The pizzas arrived cold and half of it was missing. The boy then sent a message asking if I could send a tikkie and it still hasn't been paid.

I placed an order on September 14th. However, they were out of shawarma, so I had to cancel it. To this day, I still haven't received my refund, which is truly outrageous.

On June 13, 2025, I placed an order for €36.46 at this New York Pizza location via the website (order number 2025-62831084). The order was supposed to be delivered between 10:03 PM and 10:18 PM. When nothing had arrived by 10:20 PM, I called the location. I was told my order still needed to be made and would arrive within 20 minutes. Forty-five minutes later, I still hadn't received anything, and when I called again, the location was already closed. It wasn't until around 12:30 AM, while walking my dog, that I found a pizza box with my address on it in the grass next to the bike path. Apparently, the order had been thrown over a hedge and never delivered correctly. Since then, I've contacted New York Pizza several times: June 14: Submitted a complaint via email (service@newyorkpizza.nl) June 19: Reminder sent, no response. June 25: Received an apology via WhatsApp, but my complaint wasn't taken seriously (they didn't acknowledge the order was never delivered). I immediately requested a full refund, but no response! September 10: Sent another reminder via WhatsApp and requested a full refund, no response! It's now been four months without a refund or any follow-up. The lack of communication and accountability is very disappointing. I paid for an order I never received, and despite repeated requests, I haven't gotten my money back. I expect the store to take this seriously and respond and issue a refund immediately.

They had a deal and advertising it in thuisbezorgd that they should bring a 25cm free pizza next to my order. They only brought my order without the free pizza. They blame thuisbezorgd for this but it seems it is shop’s problem as I understand from thuisbezorgd. So, never order pizza from here after seeing good deals. They do not bring it. Waste of money!

Very disappointing experience I ordered pizzas from New York Pizza Delft for delivery at 8:00 PM (pre-ordered at 5:00 PM). The order finally arrived at 8:15 PM, which was fine, except the pizza was cold, the spinach was burnt, and the extras I'd chosen were missing. I called the location and was met with unprofessional and disinterested staff. I was eventually offered new pizzas, but after waiting 45 minutes (around 9:00 PM), I called again to find out the order had never been placed. Only then were the pizzas remade and I was offered a free drink as compensation. A bit sad, but oh well, I chose something. And sure enough: the pizza arrived again... without a drink. A series of errors, sloppiness, and poor communication. I wonder if things are still running smoothly there. I certainly won't be returning.

I didn’t just order a pizza, I embarked on a spiritual journey. Waited 2.5 hours. That’s not a delay, that’s a feature. Gives you time to reflect on life, grow a beard, maybe learn a new language. Every time we called, we got the same reassuring lullaby: “It’s on the way.” Beautiful. Soothing. Almost meditative. Like a bedtime story you tell yourself when hope is dead but you still believe in magic. And then, the plot twist: Apparently, when the pizza finally arrived, we rejected it. Yes, after 2.5 hours of hunger and confusion, we looked that pizza in the eye and said, “No. Be gone.” Because that’s obviously what rational humans do. When we tried to explain, the staff decided yelling at us was the best strategy. Excellent customer service. Michelin-star-worthy shouting. Truly a masterclass in how to lose customers and alienate people. So, if you’re craving food, try cooking. If you’re craving chaos, lies, and verbal abuse—Pizza New York Delft is your place

I think the depression that I got from waiting for 3 hours cured my hunger ❤️. I never got my food, but at least I still have the memories! For next time though, I would rather fill my throat with concrete then have to argue with the employees on the phone. I think they might be schizophrenic, as they told us that they delivered our pizza, which never happened. Cheers!

The distance between the restaurant and the house is very short, and yet the pizza is cold and bad.

Order. Pay and deliver much too late And then say they just came from the oven. Pizza ess almost cold They even forgot to deliver my bottle of wine. This will be filing a complaint

Separate company. Don't 'supposedly' sell a bag (unless perhaps you are of the same origin). It's a mystery to me how you are going to transport a Large pizza on your bike

Just bought a dessert box. Besides the fact that everything was cold, the cookie was missing. They are no longer accessible anywhere. I would like to see a solution.

Ordered two pizzas 1+1 free as I order almost every week. Delivery person arrives with 1 pizza and manager says I didn't fill it out correctly. Nonsense! Just 2 selected. Not a regular customer anymore👋. This is scandalous! Just checked and ordered again via the same promotion. You cannot go to the next page until you have selected the second pizza. So you don't even know how your own system works. Too bad, liar. Disgraceful and a stain on New York Pizza if you treat customers like this. I'm going to file an official complaint.
