Amazing by chance find. Big selection of fresh bread and cakes available. Lots of locals so obviously well known. I selected sausage rolls and cinnamon bun.

Nice bakery, but unbelievable what prices, unbelievably expensive. If you walk to the Appie 25m further you have four times as many croissants for the same price.

This tiny bakery is a hidden gem in Delft. It has a bit of history attached to it. Unlike the other tourist places this one is tucked away but you really want to buy everything. It looks/ tastes so good. There is a tiny seating area outside. They only do basic tea/ coffee.

Walnut sourdough bread it should be. Paid €6 for it (I find it quite expensive). The bread stayed fresh for a long time, but the walnuts were scarce and it didn't taste like sourdough. Too bad...

This really is the best bakery in South Holland. I am not from Delft myself, but I come here every 2 weeks to get a supply of bread, slices, baguettes, etc. Whatever you buy, everything is delicious and you can feel that everything here is made with love. I freeze the bread and when it comes out of the freezer, the wonderful smell greets you, something you don't get with bread from the supermarket. The store is old-fashioned cozy and I often come at the end of the day and there is still plenty of choice. The staff is always friendly. This bakery is really comparable to a good French bakery. I hope you stick around for a long time!

We come here every week and are very happy with this bakery! The staff is always friendly and helps you with a smile. The bread is really delicious and always fresh. There is always enough in stock, so you never have to go wrong. A really great store, highly recommended!

Delicious cakes with always a special taste that is different from the standard bakery. You automatically take small bites to taste it all! Due to busy times in the store, not always done right the first time, but they do their best.

Bread is fantastic and not too expensive. Cakes are very tasty. Friendly personnel. "Duits roggepan" is my favourite: fluffy, crisp crust, whole wheat.

The nicest and tastiest bakery in Delft. Run with a lot of passion and enthusiasm by two great people. Always busy creating new treats. Now they have been back to France and gained inspiration for a French sourdough baguette. So incredibly delicious! You really have to try that one! Then you will never want anything else :)

The staff were friendly and I had the apple pie, which had a good apple texture and was delicious. But credit cards don't work.

I was in Delft last weekend for a short visit. I stumbled upon this cute little bakery and went inside. It was crowded and a lot of items were out of stock but I was lucky enough to get my hands on the last sourdough bread. The bread was amazingly good! Just how I like sourdough bread.

We had bought a scone and a 5 pack of vegan cookies. The scone was more soggy than good, the vegan cookies had been expired for two days and were more al dente than crumbly. A shame for a total of €7.28.😔

Historical place and the tastiest bread in Delft and the surrounding area.

I've been coming here since the 1970s, but less and less often because of the exorbitantly high prices. Yet the reason I won't buy pastries here anymore doesn't even have to do with that. I'm even more shocked that the pastries were put in a box without gloves! What was missing was that the store saleswoman licked her fingers. I was too upset to say anything. Small hygiene effort, please handle the food with gloves on!

A lot of tempting looking bakery items. The ham and cheese croissant was very good. The cheese bread was a bit of a disappointment, not as cheesy as expected. The brownie was good but already a bit dry on the surface, so not as fresh and one could have wished for. They have a nice little terrace outside.

Service is kind and helpful, the bakery on it s own is situated in really nice place: the heart of Delft, just few meters away from Oude kerk and the choice of products is large (and always so delicious).

Haal hier altijd mijn producten. Elke dag weer heerlijk vers brood en andere lekkere producten. Ze hebben genoeg keuze en altijd enorm vriendelijk personeel. Echt een aanrader.

Super popular and tasty spot in the heart of Delft! I go there often and every time I get something different or new as there is sooo much to try. From cakes to pastry to muffins - everything is delicious! *Insider tip - get here before lunch as shelfs can get empty quickly* The service is always great! It seems that most stuff likes working here themselfs.

They have the best products you can find in Delft but they are the worst in terms of flexibility. i.e. They don't let you reserve anything without payment which I totally understand, but they also don't have a system which allows for payment on the same day. You can send online payment but they cannot see it at the same day due to their lack of technology! And they are not trying to find a solution for this because it is your problem that you didn't think about ordering earlier. Only think you hear "sorry sorry I cannot do this I cannot do that". Welcome to Netherlands.. In 2024 such a pity to see this..

Such a beautiful bakery, and the owners are so friendly, and their bread and their delicious pastries are highly recommended.

Today at about 15:30 in this bakery, I bought a croissant with pink icing on top and custard inside for more than 3 euros. It really tasted magical, but after it I felt bad (I was poisoned). It's a decent place, but it's not worth its price, probably the quality of the products was not very fresh and/or the cream was undercooked. The staff was very friendly and smiling, nice atmosphere

Wasvandaag in Delft voor een bezoek bij VERSTEEGH , om mijn kleding op te halen. Voor dat ik daar na toe ga, ga ik even bij stadsbakkerij langs om wat lekkers mee te nemen voor de boy's van Versteegh, bakker heeft lekkere broid en ook heerlijke gebak, en zijn vriendelijke medewerkster(s), Dus top top, ga daar kopen.👍👍👍👍🙂🙂🙂🙂

Koop al jaren volkoren brood, met en zonder zaadjes. Ook hun harde bollen met maanzaad zijn aan te raden.

Ik heb afgelopen zaterdag 12 augustus rond 15:00 uur iets van 9,50 betaald voor twee "aardbeienschelpjes" (4,75 per stuk) waarvan de bodem zompig was geworden en de aardbeien waren erg zuur op beide gebakjes. Ik wilde vieren dat ik een aantal jaar een relatie had, vandaar dat ik speciaal naar de diamanten ring ging voor gebakjes. Ik vroeg om een extra papieren gebakshoudertje zodat ze mooi zouden blijven in mijn tas tijdens vervoer, maar nee dat mocht niet. Ik was flink teleurgesteld, niet alleen in de service, maar ook in de kwaliteit. Als iemand 10 euro betaalt voor 2 kleine gebakjes, kan je best iets van service verlenen toch? Ik kom al bij deze bakker sinds dat ik in Delft woon, zo'n 8 jaar. In de tussentijd zijn de prijzen van de broden enorm omhoog gegaan (volgens mij betaal je nu 2,50 voor een kaasstengel) en zijn de broden gekrompen. Dat is op zich nog wel te overzien, maar ook de service er enorm op achteruit gegaan. Misschien werkt Patrick, een van de eigenaars, minder op de werkvloer? Ik weet het niet, maar gezien de achteruitgang in service en kwaliteit ben ik niet meer bereid zo veel te betalen voor gebak - heel erg jammer. I paid something like 9.50 for two "strawberry scallops" (4.75 each) last Saturday, Aug. 12, around 3 p.m. The bottoms had become soggy and the strawberries were very sour on both pastries. I wanted to celebrate being in a relationship for several years, hence I went specifically to the diamond ring for pastries. I asked for an extra paper pastry holder so they would stay nice in my bag during transport, but no they were not allowed. I was quite disappointed, not only in the service, but also in the quality. If someone pays 10 euros for 2 small cakes, you can provide some service, right? I have been coming to this bakery since I lived in Delft, about 8 years. In the meantime the prices of the breads have gone up tremendously (I think you now pay 2.50 for a cheese stick) and the breads have shrunk. That in itself is manageable, but also the service has gone down tremendously. Maybe Patrick, one of the owners, is working less on the floor? I don't know, but given the decline in service and quality, I'm no longer willing to pay that much for pastries - very unfortunate.

Sur la route pour admirer un plan de Delft en céramique sur la Papenstraat, nous avons été attirés par la quantité impressionnante de produits qui était présentée dans cette boulangerie. Nous avons craqué sur les "stroopwafels" vendues partout en Hollande mais aussi dans la partie nord de la Belgique toute proche. Il s'agit de deux fines galettes collées ensemble par du miel. Excellent.... A essayer sans aucun doute.

Een must-visit! Heerlijk brood, lekkere gebakjes en een topteam. Ik ga hier altijd even langs als ik iets lekkers nodig heb, of als ik een luxe lunch ga maken!

Ik kom nu al een langere tijd bij de Diamanten Ring en echt de lekkerste zoete én hartige lekkernijen vind je hier. Het brood is vers en er is veel keus. Maar onlangs ook overheerlijke oranje cinnamon rolls en tompoucen afgehaald tijdens Koningsdag. Top bakkerij met (een) goede bakker(s)!

Ik haal hier altijd heerlijk mijn brood, rustiek desem echt de beste! Daarnaast hebben ze ontzettend mooie en heerlijke gebakjes en andere snacks. Kortom zeker de moeite waard om langs te gaan!

Mooie bakkerij mooie producten, maar die die Delftsebol is kopieer werk hoorden wij. Om de hoek zit namelijk bakker suikerbuik en daar krijg je voor het zelfde geld een Delftsebol van heb ik jou daar... beetje spijt dat we niet eerst naar bakker suikerbuik zijn gegaan. Verders zijn de warme broodjes legendarisch lekker!

Girando per le vie abbiamo incrociato questo forno che mi ha attratto dai suoi molti prodotti, così sono entrata curiosa di sapere se avessero anche quelli vegan. Il personale molto gentile ci ha mostrato quello che aveva e con sorpresa ho potuto trovare dei biscotti e un dolce alle mele. Fantastico che siano inclusivi per tutte le esigenze. Passerò sicuramente se mi capiterà di tornarci nuovamente. Grazie

Op een mooie historisch locatie zit een geweldige bakkerij met heerlijk brood en andere lekkernijen. Het is er vaak druk maar je wordt toch snel geholpen.

Wat een ontzettend leuk bakkertje met onwijs veel lekkere dingen van hoge kwaliteit! Het winkeltje zelf is al bijna een museum, en gedurende de feestdagen versieren ze het erg leuk en gezellig.
