Bakker Ammerlaan in Wijk 24 Voorhof

I’ve always bought and eaten very tasty bread, but the service I’ve just received really takes the cake.. This morning I picked up a loaf of bread without being asked if it needed to be sliced. I didn't realize the employee was slicing it. I walked away, and just out of sight, I realized it had been sliced. I came back immediately, but no, I wasn't allowed to exchange it for unsliced ​​bread. With the explanation: that if I had mentioned this at the counter right away, it would have been allowed. Because now I’ve walked away!! (A whole 50m!!!) Also, I hadn't asked for unsliced ​​bread; I think it works the other way around and he should have asked me if I wanted it sliced.... (I think so!?) Too bad, I’ll get my bread somewhere else. But I’ll stay there for good.

The cakes are a disgrace. I ordered two cakes for 6 people, and they only amount to 4 pieces, and they're still smaller than the individual pieces in the store. For example, the schnitte for 6 people only amounts to 4 pieces, but if you buy 4 individual pieces of those schnitte, you'll save money AND get larger pieces, completely covered in marzipan instead of just the top. The chocolate cake was exactly the same, and it crumbled completely when I cut it, as if it was old (had it been frozen?).

Bakery, no seating. Very tasty bread, though.

I regularly visit this bakery in De Hoven. We also ordered a number cake there, and it was delicious. The whole wheat bread and various sweets are also highly recommended. Saving points digitally is also a nice little extra.

I just got a cake with an insect on top. I'm never coming back here.

Great bakery, always good products, and friendly, welcoming staff. They sell a lot of tasty things, but the staff really makes it for me. The friendly woman who works there during the week (or used to work there)!

Delicious orange tompouces on King's Day

At 17:32 on 12-04-2023, the staff secretly gave me cookies without walnut on the top although I bought a 12.12€ gram blanket. It hurts my trust on this brand for ever.

Large Jumbo with an extensive range. Sometimes it looks a bit messy and can be very busy on weekends. Sitting in the community center Inde Hoven. Cheap parking in the parking garage above or on the parking roof slightly further away on the other side of the shopping center.

Let op: Dit is een 2Good2Go review, alleen voor gebruikers van die app. Hoeveelheid: Ruim! 3 hele bruine broden, waarvan 1 zuurdesem , 2x6 witte broodjes, een gevulde koek en 2 koffiebroodjes. Vooral zo'n gebakje erbij kan ik persoonlijk altijd erg waarderen. Kwaliteit: Top! Het zuurdesem was iets droog, maar is erg lekker. 2Good2Go is altijd een leuke loterij, maar bij Ammerlaan won ik de hoofdprijs. Vriezer zit wel meteen vol.

Delicious bread! I wish there would be a price list available somewhere (eg website). I don't speak Dutch well, so I find it difficult to communicate in the store and I don't want to take up too much time, but I need to budget to purchase things.

Super aardige/vriendelijke bediening, goed en vers brood.

Ik vindt deze bakker voordelig en vriendelijke medewerkers. Echter vis ik rond het middaguur wel hèèl vaak naast een aantal soorten brood waardoor ik dan moet uitwijken naar een andere bakker omdat een aantal zaden broden (vooral de donkere soorten) ietwat bitter smaken naar mijn smaak.. Misschien iets om op te letten bij het bestellen van brood?
