Club Casco in Wijk 01 Wemeldinge

I got fries and there were quite a lot of them, which was great, but it wasn't busy there, so it was quiet, so the atmosphere was a bit lower, but for me the big downside was that I ordered a special frikandel and I got a regular frikandel, which I thought was a shame, and to be honest, I don't know if I actually paid for a special frikandel.

We had a delicious meal last night. The food was well seasoned, and the service was pleasant and friendly. Top notch… 👍

A rather nice place right by the water and beach. The food is pretty good and appropriately priced. The staff were quite friendly and usually spoke Germany or English besides Dutch which was a nice addition to me as a German person with lacking ability in the Dutch language.

The four of us had a wonderful meal on Saturday evening. The Casco schnitzels were absolutely delicious! The staff, including a lovely hostess, were very attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back!

I had such a delicious meal here! Highly recommended! The service was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and has a "cycling atmosphere." The drinks are nice and cold, and the food is also very tasty. The shrimp croquettes were deliciously fried and had a tasty filling. Unfortunately, the croquettes weren't 100% filled with shrimp, but it's rare to find something like that these days. Despite that, the filling was very tasty. The side salad was very refreshing. The ingredients were fresh and tasted great, and it even gave me a "Eastern Bloc" feeling. All in all, it's very delicious here. The restaurant is truly top-notch, and the staff is also very friendly.

I was the second person in line, but after fifteen minutes, no order had been taken, so I left. Logistically, it all seemed rather inefficient, with one young person responsible for the entire fry department of the restaurant and chip shop. It would have helped if at least someone had greeted us and let us know it might take a while before we could order.

Wonderful... We were back at Club Casco last Sunday afternoon for the fourth time. The welcome, the service, the delicious food, and the surroundings... Those are the reasons why IT is so good. It feels like home at Club Casco! Kind regards, Anne-Christien and Erik

We visited Casco back in 2021,we waited for more than 45 minutes and after repeated resquests by us,finally someone finally came and Took Our order. The personnel Took the food Orders from the guests who came later than us. The personnel is suprisingly very friendly to the white guests and extremely unfriendly to dark skinned people. We Initially thought,they had a very busy day and had a Bad mood. We came back to this Restaurant yesterday on 11.08.25 and our feeling of not being welcomed as dark skinned family was confirmed. We Waited for over 20 minutes and none of the 4 personnel didnt even bother to say a friendly hi.our table was left uncleaned and the other guests who came later than us could give their orders. Even the guests setting next to us were confused as to why they were not taking any order from us and were clearly not understanding why we were treated in such a bad way.After i asked a coupe of times if somebody could take Our order and clean the table,finally someone came to clean the table and left the cleaning cloth behind on the table. Finally we could order a coupe of drinks, and the personnel said he would give us the menu so that we could order some food. We were then left unattended for another 15 minutes. I went straight to the Bar and said "i guess you guys have some issues with people like us,I would like to pay for the drinks and leave the place" they didnt even give us any answer nor an explaination as to why there is an issue in taking an order from us,but white people who came later were clearly greeted with a friendly smile and the orders were taken quickly,which clearly Shows "dark skinned people are not welcome in the CASCO"

Good food, local prices, relatively friendly service!

Never again, staff are xenophobic. Furthermore, some guests had to wait almost an hour before someone even came along who knew their table, and they even left a rag on the table. Simply outrageous.

We had to wait a very long time for our order to be taken, even though we signaled several times. Two other tables were less patient and left. Once we ordered, it arrived quickly. We ordered three Aperol Spritz, which weren't very good, almost like a white label. The appetizers we ordered, however, were very tasty.

Thankfully... it still exists! A restaurant that serves delicious dishes with exceptional care and high-quality, fresh ingredients. The price-quality ratio is excellent! And the service is exceptionally friendly. We'd love to come back again when we're in the area! It's a shame the building is somewhat hidden and doesn't really stand out.

We happened to stop here this week evening because we were camping nearby. The food (Casco schnitzel and gratinated fish) was delicious and plentiful. The value for money was excellent! We ate at Club Casco twice during our vacation. We were very satisfied both times. The food is very tasty and the service is super friendly. If we come to Wemeldinge again, we will definitely eat here again. Finally today we had a delicious Aperol Spritz outside on the terrace.

You can eat well there, but the staff walks around behind the bar without organization. Wait 20 minutes for someone to answer (not busy though). Hot snacks and 3 cold drinks. After 15 minutes the snacks and then having to ask again for the drinks...

Ate here tonight... Even though they were completely full, we were still allowed to take a seat at a table in a room behind the business. Ended up here unexpectedly during a family weekend in the holiday park next door. They have a nice open kitchen... They serve COCA COLA here (Happy). We had oyster fish soup and beef tataki.. Nothing to complain about except for one small thing. With so much beef, one small pipette of soya is a lot. When we asked, we got another pipette with just a little bit. But fortunately I also had a jug of soya with the oysters, which I poured over the meat. I would replace just as much meat and the small amount in the pipette with a jug as well. Everything else was just perfect. All main courses were also perfect.... (Lots of bones in the sea bass) Everything tastes good. And the fries were so super tasty and well fried... Nice and crispy. It's a shame that when we ask to pack it, it turns out that not everything is in it when we get home. My husband and mother-in-law enjoyed the draft beer this evening and it turned out to be AMAZING.. (Blonde sits). In short, highly recommended.... I would make a reservation... We will definitely come back during our annual family weekend. And will certainly recommend it to friends and acquaintances who are heading this way.

Well-kept terrace with unfortunately many smokers. That smoke washes over you. Nice sunshine, what more could you want? Well, a decent menu and no q code to read on your phone, you don't want to take that with you on such a sunny day. That's peeping on the neighbors. That limits the choice. Don't do such a digital menu on a screen.

Made a stop here during a motorcycle ride and took a seat on the terrace. Friendly service and normal prices. Only had a drink so I can't comment on the food. Although it looked tasty and well cared for by other guests.

Absolutely great! Super nice service, family feeling is conveyed well! Quality absolutely fantastic, especially nice that you can still eat a 3 course menu here for €29.95! It's a shame that some people give a bad review based on no table due to a fully booked restaurant. Or because no dogs are allowed inside! This is at the expense of the realistic image regarding quality and tableware.

Unfortunately, we were refused access to the restaurant with our dog because there is a kitchen in the restaurant. Very "strange" that there is a kitchen in a restaurant. In the six years we have had our dog, we have never been denied entry to a restaurant because of the dog. FYI: Our dog doesn't go to the kitchen, not with us and certainly not without us :)) Fortunately, there are plenty of places where we can spend our money for tasty dishes. I hope the restaurant employees are very proud of themselves. PS: After a bad review, putting up a sticker with "dogs not allowed" within 1 hour is not the best option. Of course no one comes to you with dogs anymore. Fortunately, there are plenty of places in the city where you are welcome with a dog, with respectful treatment and, above all, with very tasty food. PS2: It's entirely possible that you decided this from day one, but the sign appeared right after I gave you one star. I congratulate you too! You deserve your staff, who speak rudely. And also because this is the first restaurant that offers visitors no options other than going to competitors. Still got a table here on a busy Pentecost day. Friendly service, very high service standard. We could first taste the house wines. The oysters were of excellent quality. The lobster soup full of flavor, a little more solid parts would have made it even better. Main course mix grill, completely correct, with tasty fries. Fish pannet's suggestion is great. We ordered schnitzel, which is made from turkey here. AND BOTH WERE COMPLETELY RAW! The food was immediately returned and we left. However, the service was very courteous and understanding. It is advisable to check the food before you eat it. That was lucky otherwise things might be bad now.

Delicious food. We had tapas instead of a starter. Really super tasty. Main course was a mixed grill. The different pieces of meat are super tender and well cooked. Unfortunately, dessert was no longer available.

There was no service for a quarter of an hour. When we asked we were quickly brushed off and still no one came. The tables were not clean and there was an old dog bowl and broken pieces on the floor. We left again.
