Eeterij Juno in Wijk 01 Wemeldinge

We had another incredibly delicious meal, this is the perfect place to end the day perfectly.

After a long walk, we wanted to have an aperitif with our dogs at Juno. Because it was getting a bit stormy outside, we went inside, but upon entering the restaurant, we were stopped by a blonde woman who asked if she could help us, but she said, "Go away." We told her we'd like an aperitif. She replied, "Juno is a restaurant, and you can sit outside." We looked around and noticed that only one table in the entire restaurant was occupied. We mentioned that it was quite chilly and windy outside, but she clearly didn't seem to mind. I told her this would be the last time we'd visit this restaurant, but she wasn't bothered by that either. We regularly visit Juno when we're on vacation and have always been satisfied.

If you want the best steak and eel, this is the place to be. 🫣 Buttery-soft and so tender, truly delicious appetizers too. And gorgeous ladies, and the entourage is also absolutely fantastic. In other words, perfect.

Had a fantastic, delicious, and well-prepared meal. Very friendly and competent service. The interior was a bit too kitschy for me, but that's just my personal preference and doesn't detract from the quality!

After a day on the water, we had a delicious meal. Even though we booked late and were told the only available table was available until 7:30 PM, we were able to enjoy a delicious meal outside without any time pressure. Compliments!

Lovely setting. Cozy terrace with cushions and blankets. Very friendly service. Extensive menu and excellent food. We had the surf and turf, highly recommended. The appetizers and desserts are also delicious.

I unexpectedly and unexpectedly ended up here after a morning of cycling along the Oosterschelde. What a gem! Everything was perfect: the atmosphere, the menu, the service, and not to mention the incredibly delicious food! We truly enjoyed it!

We ate here during a motorcycle tour. The terrace is pleasant and the service is friendly. Dogs are allowed on the terrace. The food is excellent, and the price-quality ratio is excellent. It's a nice, hygienic restaurant with plenty of parking nearby.

Heerlijk gegeten op het terras. Vriendelijke bediening. We deelden samen een visplateau, dit is zeker een aanrader. Heerlijk brood erbij, overigens. De surf &turf was heerlijk. Wel meer doorbakken dan medium rare, maar heel mals dus smaakte prima. Zeeuws buikspek van partner was ook erg lekker.

Fish platter was delicious! Tip: easy peel prawns are easier to peel and you can also remove the intestinal tract beforehand. Then definitely 5 stars!!

The atmosphere is super pleasant. It's easy to have a good conversation. The abundance of artificial plants is a bit odd, but that's a matter of taste. The food was also very good overall, though the price is a bit steep compared to the relatively medium to small portions. Otherwise, a great restaurant, one of the best in town.

Staying in the Jachthaven this was an easy choice for a meal out. The food s drinks were great ( best Pornstar Martini I’ve had all trip!!). But the service wasn’t great. We really felt forgotten, no checking on the meals, no additional drinks etc. When we went up to pay (face up waiting) found staff just standing and chatting.

Heerlijk gegeten. Het was druk maar zaten toch rustig en konden gezellig kletsen. Gerechten waren goed. Jammer dat de paling op toast niet meer op het menu staat.

This catering establishment is absolutely recommended. Extensive and carefully composed menu as well as an excellent drink selection. Many facilities available. Employees are very hospitable, enthusiastic and also extremely professional. Located in the picturesque Zeeland village of Wemeldinge.

Ate surf and turf, delicious prawns and tasty steak, perfectly cooked, even though we were not asked what the cooking should be like. 1 comment: dishes do not arrive on the table warm enough, the prawns are cold when you finish the steak. A solution to this is desirable, because the combination is great, the accompaniment of carrot and beetroot is also very well done seasonally. Service is top notch.

We ate there twice within 3 days with several people. Excellent food, both meat dishes and fish. Very attentive service with nice staff. Prices are a little higher, but the quality is great. We were also impressed by the ambience. Clear recommendation from us. We'd love to come back. By the way, Scorpino was also delicious. Our waitress recommends it as an aperitif.

Inviting for a snack and drink near the harbor. The food is well prepared, nothing can go wrong with the drinks. However, service is very slow, recording and serving could really be improved. Nevertheless, we will definitely return there.

What a nasty thing this is. Last Thursday, September 12, at about 8:15 p.m., we walked in to have an aperitif. At least that's what we thought. Our welcome was. “We are a restaurant and there are no options for that.” Uuhh? The place is half full. No, there are no options for that. Just go next door (that restaurant was closed btw)

Not enough vegetarian options. There are non-alcoholic beers (but no IPA) and non-alcoholic cocktails on the menu. (I haven't tried them, a bit too expensive)

Very friendly and caring service. Beautifully presented dishes. The hollendse cheese croquettes are delicious! (see photos) Cozy outdoor location. Inside it looks the same and is warmly decorated. Toilets are upstairs and downstairs. The downstairs toilet clean and fresh. Reservations required. Reservations are for the indoor location. For outside, they recommend that you come and take a seat immediately. A lovely cozy restaurant with delicious dishes. Recommended!

We ate delicious fried eel (on request) because of our annual eel dinner evening 😉 the prawns and scallops were also delicious, first inside and then the coffee and then a nightcap on the outside terrace. Recommended!

Had a nice meal at Juno today, the food was good. Flat iron steak was cooked perfectly and had tasty appetizers. Beer was well tapped, 2 fingers of foam absolutely great. The service was good, nice waitresses who basically did everything neatly. The atmosphere was also cozy and not too formal. Actually not a single bad point to report 👌

Had a fantastic meal at Juno. Outside terrace without reservation, waited a while, which was clearly explained, until a table became available. Ordered a bottle of white wine, carpaccio starter... very tasty! Main course steak, also delicious! Dishes are beautifully presented. Dessert chocolate mousse and apple pie so delicious! The service is friendly, despite it being very busy in the high season and another malfunction in the system, they remain attentive and work well together! Best place in Wemeldinge with a beautiful outdoor terrace, good staff, good prices. Super!

We ate at Juno on the recommendation of others. Unfortunately, we found these disappointing. There were employees who did their work very unprofessionally. We also got the feeling that we had actually forgotten a little bit every time. When our drinks were served, the beer was placed on the table so hard that the bottle overflowed. So I was left with a wet table all evening. At other tables, a separate menu was presented on a plate. When we were asked, were you able to make a choice, apparently it was not worth showing the rest. I can certainly understand that you are busy, but I found this very impersonal and I did not really feel welcome. The food was tasty though. Hence the 4 stars. And a type for service hospitality is number 1 never give a customer the feeling that they are too much.

Today here are our 1st new mussels, big fat mussels, perfectly cooked, almost like pasta á denté, but incredibly tasty!! Yesterday I already knew... I really enjoy the steak tartare.

I really wanted to like this due to the rave reviews, but having spent about 50€ for dinner, it first took 10 mins for a small beer to be served, another 15 mins from that for the starter to be served, and then another 35 mins from that for my main course to arrive! the restaurant had literally gone from full to half empty when my full order was served. I would still have been satisfied if my main was delicious, but the beef was too salty, had ZERO Maillard browning whatsoever, and a third of it was overcooked to medium well instead of medium rare. and the best part was that this was served on a thick bed of mash potatoes with a single lone carrot surrounded by more boiled baby potatoes, AND accompanied by a huge bowl of fries on the side. the market must have been having a giant discount on potatoes, because this truly was a plate of sad brown and beige, instead of what other people seemed to be having in their colourful photos. this experience was tragic by any definition, and I left after having had two dishes in 90 mins. the waitress asked me once after I was done if dinner was ok, and what else could I say but "it's ok" when all is done? I wasn't going to eat another meal if they want to "correct" matters, and why put everyone in an awkward situation then? the restaurant should not depend on customers for quality control, and QC should be in the kitchen.. I'm still sad about my "potato-forward" dinner, and can only suggest that the restaurant try to at the very least add more bright colours and veggies to their dish presentation in future. sigh.

Very friendly and hospitable service, an evening where there was nothing to complain about. Big compliment, especially for the venison steak and the scallops. €300 for five people, all in all acceptable price/quality. We will definitely come back again. 😊

Heerlijk gegeten bij Juno. Op aanbeveling van onze airbnb host hier gaan eten. Ze zaten helemaal vol geboekt maar konden nog een plekje aan de bar krijgen. De bar is ruim en een prima plek om te eten. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en flexibel. De kaart uitgebreid en origineel. We hebben heerlijk gegeten.

Het eten was heerlijk. Niks op aan te merken. De serveerster stond, zeer lange tijd, gezellig te kletsen met de buurtafel. Ondanks dat ik een paar keer mn hand had opgestoken, gezwaaid had, zelfs aangesproken, kwam er niemand. Ik ben aan de bar gaan vragen om wat te drinken, want we stonden toch geruime tijd al droog en om de dessertkaart. Uiteindelijk kwam er toch iemand, met excuses. Dit vond ik toch wel een minpunt. Maar zoals ik al zei, het eten was verrukkelijk!!

Very nice restaurant in a good location in Wemeldinge! The food and drinks were very tasty and served quite quickly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others! A tip: make a reservation, because it can be quite busy on some days.

Juno, the place to be.. dat hangt aan de muur in het restaurant in neon verlichting en dat kan ik alleen maar 100 % beamen. Altijd top kwaliteit met mooie verse producten. Komen daar regelmatig voor de lunch maar ook het diner is altijd top.

Très agréable découverte. Nous avons essayé 2 des recommandations du jour : la pêche du jour et la pièce de gibier de saison. Excellent rapport qualité-prix. Cadre, ambiance et personnel agréables. La prochaine fois que nous passerons dans le coin, nous y retournerons sans hésiter.

Het is een ontzettend leuk plekje, het was die dag erg warm maar onder de parasols op het terras was het goed toeven. Eigenlijk was er één minpunt, de terrasstoelen zaten niet lekker. Ik ben groot dus dacht ik dat het daar aan lag, echter mijn tafelgenoot is een stuk kleiner en die zat dus ook niet lekker. Het eten was voortreffelijk!

Zeer uitgebreide kaart met super lekkere gerechten. Daarnaast een ruimt assortiment aan verschillende drankjes. Dit alles met een leuke bediening, kort samengevat: top restaurant!

Sehr leckere Vorspeise gegessen, der Hauptgang, wir hatten Surf&Turf war hervorragend. Wir werden sicher wieder hier essen gehen, wenn wir nach Wemeldinge kommen.

Top restaurant ,top bediening . Alleen wijnprijzen zijn toch beetje overdreven .Een duitse wijn voor 34€ wat het goedkoopste op de wijn kaart staat .Kan beter ! Deze wijnen kosten nog geen 9€ per fles .Als het nog een berenauslese was tot daar toe maar een simpele riesling no way .
