Not a bad restaurant, especially the smoothie is recommended

Sat there for a while (about an hour) for a cup of coffee and something nice... you always get a small glass of Tookelroom with some whipped cream on it (free (nice)... the gesture is so nice that we always go there!!!... but this time they came to us 4/5 times (in that +/- hour) to see if everything was okay... which it always is... nice that they want to "take" good care of us... but 4/5 times in a plus or minus hour!?!... Heartily Recommended... ALWAYS Good there!!!... and plus Service that is well Concerned!

The coffee here is made with great care. The lunch was also delicious.

Friendly staff, delicious coffee, and homemade cake. The hot chocolate with whipped cream and cinnamon is also excellent. And don't forget the eggnog with whipped cream 😉

The service was very friendly, and the food and drinks arrived very quickly. My wife can't have sugar, and they had no problem adjusting it slightly.

Cozy place for a nice coffee or lunch

No wait staff came by, and I heard them openly complaining about new people coming in, so I left. It was 4:25 p.m., so I figured I should still be able to get a cup of coffee.

A lovely café with good coffee and a pleasant atmosphere. There's a wide selection of drinks and snacks. It can get a bit crowded at times, and there's limited seating, but the quality more than makes up for it.

Just had dinner at Cocoon, normally you get 2 tasty sandwiches, both with a filling. Now 2 normal sandwiches from Bakker Meijer. I indicated that the bread was dry, the crusts were no longer fresh so we left 3 of the 4 sandwiches but the lady could not agree with that, just paid 42 € for a slice of carpaccio and oh yes, the pesto is also from a jar 😅 ridiculous prices for little quality

I love coming here with my girlfriend and friends! Delicious sandwiches, great coffee, and incredibly sweet people who work there 😁👍🏻❤️ We're big fans!

I had a herb cheese sandwich. Previously, it came with a roll, but now it was two simple brown bread slices. The bread was visible through the herb cheese, so it wasn't really a generous spread. My sister had a brie sandwich, the same slices of bread, but one had brie (for one slice) and the other just honey. For €8.95, I expect more than this. The iced coffee we also had was delicious and well worth the price.

I wasn't allowed to use the restroom, which is only for guests (the public restroom was closed). Even when I offered to pay, it wasn't an option. This means I'll never go there again.

We used to go to Cocoon very often. Lately, however, almost nothing on the menu has been available (everything is gone). Last time, we were very disappointed with the food. Previously, the sandwiches were generously filled and the plates were neatly presented. This time, we ordered an oriental toasted sandwich. We received two slices of white bread (not traditional bread, but a plain slice of white bread), some cheese, and four slices of Turkish sausage with aioli in between. That was all there was on the plate, even though we had to pay €9.50 for it. Disgraceful.

Huge fan of Cocoon! Always delicious coffee, sandwiches, and cocktails. Recently, I was there when they ran out of orange juice, and they also forgot the strawberry syrup in my drink. This was resolved very kindly and efficiently, with a small discount. The staff is always cheerful and friendly. A true asset to Hoogezand.

Always good food here. And all those different kinds of tea, delicious.

Great iced coffee and friendly staff!

Helaas niet goed bevallen. Na eerder een high tee besteld te hebben waren ze dit vergeten gaven ze aan. Na snel iets in elkaar geflanst te hebben kon er geen excuus vanaf. Hier laatst weer gaan eten. Wij hadden broodjes besteld en later kregen we totaal iets anders. Nogmaals geen excuus en we werden erg raar aangekeken. Toen wij vroegen of wij een bestelling mochten plaatsen kregen wij de opmerking “ pas als jij aan de beurt bent “ Dit kwam zeer onvriendelijk en bot over. Hierdoor zou ik eigelijk bijna opstappen en ergens anders eten.

What a wonderful lunch I had at Cocoon with my girlfriend. It was also no problem at all that I cannot tolerate bread after a stomach operation. In consultation, They made a delicious carpaccio for me. Beautifully presented. What a pleasure. And very tasty. And my girlfriend had a great time spooning in her glass with whipped cream and whipped cream. What she got with her coffee was so tasty. I have never seen it anywhere myself. Delicious food, friendly service

I have been coming to Cocoon for a while now. Lately I have found the staff uninterested and curt. This afternoon was no exception. I came in with my husband and immediately saw the pastries at the entrance. I asked the blonde girl: "What kind of pastries are those?" She replied mocha and hazelnut. I said: Could I have these with two cappuccinos? Then I walked to the back for a table. She came over and asked me again what I wanted with it. When I said I wanted two cappuccinos she reacted sharply: Yes, we don't want to make it a habit for people to just order at the counter! I just felt put in my place. It wasn't busy. There were two ladies. It didn't feel right to me.

We enjoy Cocoon every time! The atmosphere is good, everything is nicely decorated and the coffee is delicious. Our children also like to come here. The only point for improvement would be that the staff could ask if everything is still to your liking and if you want to order something. This often does not happen. It is great that you can now also go to Cocoon for a drink!

A bit of a shame that a woman starts talking about that dog that swallows from a spoon and doesn't know how it works, it's his own spoon that only he uses and not other customers. So you can just drink a nice cup of coffee with a very clean spoon.

Nice place to sit for a delicious coffee or tea with a pastry. They also have an extensive menu with the most delicious sandwiches, salads and snacks. We have also had high tea there a few times, which is also recommended!

A dog licks a spoon that other people then have to eat with. Disgusting. In addition, the staff who brought our drinks was looking at us all the time, whispering and laughing. Very unprofessional, the whole joke was that we don't know these people at all, highly recommended.

Had a baby shower with you today. A super nice decorated table was waiting for us. The table was full of tasty snacks and we were given soup beforehand. We had a wide choice of teas, even ginger and mint. That was great! The only thing I thought was a shame is that we weren't seated a bit apart from the visitors. But despite that, it was a lot of fun and we ate ourselves very full!

Busy was a group that received a lot of attention. As a result, we waited a very long time for our sandwich. The service and girl in the kitchen did their very best. My husband and I sat here this morning for coffee and a pastry. My husband ordered a coffee, which tasted like a delicious Americano. I had a cappuccino, which was fine, but I didn't think the coffee was suitable in terms of strength and flavor profile for a cappuccino, too mild. The milk foam was not poured latte art as you would expect from a coffee shop that claims to work with real baristas. It just seemed to come from a device. The ladies at the service were all very friendly, social and attentive. You could tell they were looking forward to their work. The pastries from Meijer bakery were also very tasty. It's also very hospitable that you get a small glass of plucked cream on the house when you order a coffee. It's a nice place to sit for a while. The only disadvantage of the tent was the lighting, which was too bright, making it painful for the eyes. And the cabling on the ceiling also seemed a bit messy, hence the 4 stars for the atmosphere. All in all, highly recommended and worth repeating.

The cappuccino was delicious, but the service was below expectations. I won't come here again. Employee indicates that he inquired about gluten-free pastries and then never saw the employee again.

Kip kerrie komt direct uit een kant een klaar bakje die bij elke supermarkt kan liggen, maar die smaken vaak beter. De tonijn was heel veel op 1 klein broodje. Je betaald hier 11 euro voor een simpel broodje. Je krijgt best weinig en betaald veel voor supermarkt eten.

In het nieuwe winkeltje werd ik geholpen door een super aardige jongedame, die echt net was begonnen en dus nog wat hulp kon gebruiken. Als ze iets vroeg, en ze probeerde het echt eerst zelf, werd ze afgeblaft door de andere dame die koffie aan het maken was voor andere gasten. Heel akelig en sneu, dit kan gewoon niet tegenover gasten (en onaardig doen in het leven kan sowieso niet de bedoeling zijn)! Ik heb haar vervolgens geholpen en toen is het goedgekomen. Eerder ook al paar keer niet zo leuk bediend op het terras. Jammer want het is een top locatie en de kadootjes zijn ook leuk die je er kan kopen.

Leuke en gezellige brasserie. Echt een aanwinst voor het winkelcentrum.

Wat kan je hier lekker eten en gezellig zitten. Leuke life styl producten. Vriendelijk personeel.

Terras was druk maar goeie bediening. Jammer dat er weinig keus meer was in gebak, veel was op.

Zeer lekker en gezond eten. Uiterst vriendelijke bediening. Kwaliteits eten voor een eerlijke prijs.

Eten en drinken is onwijs goed, bediening is op zich vriendelijk. Wat mij echter onwijs irriteert is dat ik lekker mijn mijn zoon buiten zat te lunchen. Komen er twee gasten naar buiten en vragen of ze even buiten mogen roken, de bediening wijst hun op een tafeltje naast ons, terwijl er ruim voldoende plekken beschikbaar waren. Waarom rokers specifiek een tafeltje aanwijzen naast mensen die lekker zitten te eten en niet roken. Nog erger wordt het als je bij afrekenen hier melding van maakt, ik werd ronduit afgeblaft. Echt Cocoon, jullie doen veel zaken heel erg goed, eten en drinken is gewoon goed! Waarom zulke domme acties en waarom niets doen met feedback, behalve afblaffen. Doe er wat mee!

Lekker ijs snel geregeld, aardig personeel

Leuk koffie tentje voor lunch en hapje eten. Niet te vergeten heerlijk gebak.

O man, wat kun je hier lekker lunchen! En de ice coffee ... heerlijk!

Uitermate positief verrast. Mooi terras en heerlijke stoelen. Gemoedelijke en relaxte sfeer. Ik was hier zaterdag 8 juli voor het eerst samen met mijn moeder en dochtertje van 3 jaar. Uitgebreide kaart met ontzettend veel koffies en lattes, cocktails maar ook mocktails. Dochter had American pancakes met chocolade saus en ik een broodje Caprese, deze laatste was perfect en vers. Alleen de pancakes hadden een aantal hele harde stukken (zo hard als steen) bij het eerste stukje zei ik tegen dochter dat ze het aan de kant moest leggen en gewoon verder kon eten, even later stuitten mijn dochter op nog zo'n hard stukje. Dit vond ik absoluut niet kunnen, ik ben onmiddellijk naar binnen gegaan en heb het uitgelegd. Er werd goed en positief op gereageerd en amper 5 minuten later had mijn dochtertje een nieuw bordje pancakes dit keer wel vers. Prima opgelost en super sympathiek personeel. Ik woon hier niet in de buurt (vlakbij de randstad) maar zal hier tijdens familie bezoek zeker nog eens terug keren. Dit is echt zo'n plek om te onthouden!

Heerlijke cappuccino met een lekker borrelglaasje met likeurtje en slagroom. Ik wacht op mn broodjes om mee te nemen maar als ik om me heen kijk komt dat helemaal goed!! Hippe tent, vriendelijke bediening en schone toilet 😊

De drankjes en hoe het eruit ziet is mooi. Maar 9,- voor een sandwich? Waar je 1 plak brood krijgt op een bord, met tonijnsalade, paar snippers rode ui en een gesneden eitje? Op een kaal bord? Te erg dat je een restaurant opent, en eten zo duur serveert voor iets wat ik voor die prijs beter thuis maak voor meerdere personen!!!! Je krijgt geen salade of iets erbij, wat wel bij menu staat dat je ‘rucola’ op zn minst erbij krijgt… en geen zout en peper op tafel? Zo had ik ook een keer pancakes besteld, en toen ze het voor me op tafel zette vroeg ze nog of ik rood fruit er nog op wou? Terwijl je zoiets van te voren vraagt en niet wanneer je het pas levert… heel heel erg gewoon zonde van me geld.

Echt een leuke tent, alleen duurt het wel lang voordat je iets kunt bestellen. Terwijl het niet zo heel druk was. Kregen eerst het eten toen pas het drankje en bestek moesten we zelf even zoeken op een andere tafel. Paar minpuntjes maar dat komt vast goed! Nogmaals leuke tent.

Heerlijk geluncht, vriendelijke bediening en snelle service

Twas weer heerlijk super plekjn

Eindelijk een plek in het winkelcentrum van Hoogezand waar je buiten kan zitten op een terras zonder het gevoel te hebben dat je op de stoep zit. Of dat winkelende mensen over het terras lopen van een naar hun auto. Wel zou er eerder gedacht kunnen worden aan de parasols op te zetten, dat kan sfeer verhogend zijn zeker op een zonnige warme dag.

Een fijne plek waar je even bij kan komen van alle drukte. Vriendelijk personeel en eigenaar. Met veel passie wordt het drinken bereid en met de komst van de 2e zaak kunnen er ook heerlijke sorbets besteld worden. De Dame Blanche bevat heerlijke stracciatella ijs en het Cocoon Weckpotje is ook zeker een aanrader. Ja, het is soms druk en ja, je moet soms even langer wachten maar héé soms moet je ook gewoon even ontstressen en genieten van al het lekkers wat ze te bieden hebben. Medewerkers: Top personeel Eten/drinken: goed verzorgd Het winkeltje: leuke produkten Ga zo door!

Ik kom regelmatig bij Cocoon om te lunchen of voor een heerlijke kop koffie of thee! Vriendelijke bediening en ontzettend lekkere broodjes! Een echte aanrader!

Wij komen binnen en er is 1 ander tafeltje bezet. We hebben lang gezeten, zonder geholpen te worden. Er liep 5 man personeel, maar kletsen was belangrijker dan de klanten. Ik weet zelfs de omzet van de dag ervoor, dat soort informatie is niet iets dat besproken hoort te worden waar klanten bij zitten. Uiteindelijk hebben we zelf maar gezegd tegen de mevrouw achter de bar dat we koffie wilden. Zowel de mevrouw achter de bar als de mevrouw in de bediening waren echt niet vriendelijk. We hebben vervolgens nog gebak besteld, wat in eerste instantie vergeten werd. Toen we er opnieuw om vroegen, werd het gebracht, maar zonder een woord te zeggen. Geen alstublieft, geen 'geniet ervan'. Gewoon niets. In het geheel dus zeer teleurstellend. Wanneer de baas er zelf is, is de ervaring heel anders!

Heerlijk eten en prachtige weer wat wil je nog meer een lekker bakje koffie en dat hebben ze

Op 5 april heerlijk op terras kunnen zitten, we hebben eerst gebruncht en ijsje gingen we halen bij de nieuwe Cocoon.

Lekkere koffie met als service een glaasje tokkelroom met slagroom. Je kunt er gezellig zitten.leuke bediening

We might be biased because me and my pregnant wife come here almost once a week, but the coffee is always amazing, the foods are great and the atmosphere is just soo relaxing.. it’s a great enjoyment all around. Even on days when it’s busy, if you flag a server, they’ll come to you in less then a few minutes.

Na 10 minuten binnen aan een tafel hebben gezeten zijn we maar weer weggegaan. Ik denk dat ze het te druk hadden met 14 personen buiten verdeeld over 7 tafels (die allen al voorzien waren) en 3 personen binnen aan 2 tafels. Maar wel met 5 personen achter de bar aan het praten en 1 serveerster die stond te wachten tot de bar dames uit gepraat waren. Kortom hier mag de ZWEEP over.

Bij Cocoon kun je terecht voor een heerlijke lunch, een kop koffie/thee en/of een lekker tussendoortje. Het is er altijd gezellig en sfeervol en ook de medewerkers altijd vriendelijk. Geen overdreven (stadse) prijzen hier, dus gewoon betaalbaar. Helaas door de corona tijdelijk gesloten, maar gelukkig is daar de pick up en bezorg service. Hier heb ik al regelmatig dankbaar gebruik van gemaakt en altijd naar volle tevredenheid. Vandaag bijvoorbeeld van een high tea genoten. Heerlijke scones, cupcakes, wraps en andere lekkernijen. Oftewel meer dan voldoende. We hebben genoten!
