The various tapas were decent Dutch standard fare, nothing more, nothing less, generally tasty, though the meat, like the steaks, was unfortunately a bit tough. All the drinks were okay, but the alcoholic cocktails (we tried about 10 different ones with 14 people) were abysmal; with such a small amount of alcohol, a bartender in Cuba would have been stoned to death – a real shame. The service, however, was absolutely attentive, quick, and helpful; they deserve an extra point for that...

A very pleasant restaurant. A proper tapas bar with great Spanish specialties, unlike so many wannabe tapas bars with exorbitant prices. Definitely worth a visit!

In November, four of us girls sat outside under heat lamps, drinking cocktails and eating tapas – a wonderful evening, something I always thought was only possible in summer. The view was fantastic, and all the surrounding restaurants were packed, even though it was winter.

A fantastic restaurant right in the church square with a wide variety of food and drinks. The place is lovely, the service and staff are very friendly, and the owner is highly recommended.

For lunch, we went back to Enschede for tapas at CopaCobana. We were absolutely thrilled with this restaurant because everything was fantastic. Unfortunately, we forgot to take photos, but the food was simply too good 😄. We ordered spare ribs, beef fillet, pork fillet, filled dumplings, and goat cheese. The goat cheese wasn't necessary, but the rest was sensational. We'd love to come back and look forward to the friendly and attentive staff.

Excellent tapas bar and steakhouse with delicious small and large dishes, very attentive service, and a pleasant atmosphere. The Grilled Mixed Platter and the Spare Ribs, for example, are highly recommended.

The service was generally terrible, the wait was long, and the meat was poorly prepared. And on top of that, if you order Tiramisu, you get something from a supermarket container. When I inquired, it turned out they don't make it themselves, and it was inedible...🤦🏻‍♂️ The toilet was disgustingly dirty... and the staff laughed at a few guests sitting outside... that's really unacceptable.

Disappointing experience at Copacabana Enschede Unfortunately, our visit to Copacabana was a huge disappointment. We expected much more from a restaurant that advertises itself as a tapas and steakhouse. The service was utterly disinterested: no one asked if everything was to our liking, no one came to ask if we wanted another drink, and empty glasses and bottles were left on the table—unless we asked for them. And all this despite the fact that it wasn't even busy. No friendly smile, no attention, nothing you'd expect from a welcoming restaurant. The low point? The tiramisu. It clearly came straight from the dessert aisle of the supermarket. No effort whatsoever, no homemade touch—outrageous for a restaurant that dares to put this on its menu. All in all, a lackluster, uncomfortable experience where the guest is absolutely not the center of attention. We won't be returning.

Tonight I wanted to go out for drinks with my client. My client was immediately sent away by a snotty guy posing as a supervisor. This, of course, really upset me, and I explained that I was his supervisor. The snotty guy then, without a second thought, said that I wasn't welcome either. The compelling argument for this action was "because he lives on my street." My client told me, "No, Nadine, don't waste any more energy on him." Otherwise, this snotty guy would have a real reason to deny me access!

Yesterday, I visited CopaCabana Steakhouse & Tapasrestaurant in the market square in Enschede. The location is wonderful, and the terrace looks inviting. I’d never been there before and hadn’t seen their menu prior. I must admit, I struggle to categorize places that serve such small portions. I ordered spicy chicken drumstick tapas, not knowing what to expect. Drinks were served before the food, but it was clear the staff had little to do—there were hardly any customers. When my order arrived, I was speechless. I got four tiny bones with barely any meat, probably less than what you’d find on wings from Jumbo. But that wasn’t the worst part. Now I understand why they make it spicy. While eating, something felt off—the meat seemed undercooked, reddish, and didn’t taste right. I’ve been struggling with stomach issues for two days now. I regret not taking photos. I warn others and do not recommend this place.

Grim atmosphere. The staff is also really unfriendly. They don't give clear explanations. I have to admit, the food was good, as far as I could enjoy it, because I hadn't even finished half of my fish and then a bone got stuck in my throat. I almost choked. No understanding whatsoever. When we later showed the bone stuck in my throat, a woman took a picture of it and said she discussed it with her boss. But no, no compensation. Nothing to do with paying full price, even though I hadn't even finished half the salmon. My mother was also treated rudely after she said she'd had gastric bypass surgery and couldn't eat too much. She asked how big the tapas were and was told, "Yes, just a plate—you see that on the menu, don't you?" by a man who worked there. Well, anything but friendly. I had a very traumatic experience. All in all, not a good thing in my opinion.

Just had a drink, quick and friendly service

The prices were quite high, and unfortunately the ribeye was not good quality and chewy. The tapas were just okay. The service was very disappointing — no one brought a menu to the table, and we had to stand up and ask a waiter for it. This seemed to be the usual way they work. No one came back to ask if we wanted to order anything else either. At the end, I was asked to pay at the register, and I didn’t receive an itemized bill — just the total, which seemed about 15 euros more than expected. Overall, not a pleasant experience.

Good location at the main square. The Spanish tapas are far from Spanish cuisine. Aioli was pure mayonnaise, patatas bravas served also with just mayonnaise and the Gambas con ajio had no taste. The lamb rack as a main course was good. The service was ok.

Food was delicious and ambience was okay. This was our second time eating there and we were ripped off both times. I don't know if it's because we're German customers or if everyone does it that way - at least according to the reviews. It is now the case that we were seriously overcharged by €50. We were 4 people with 4 tapas arondissements and were billed for 5 - so 30€ more. Then we also chose two breads as starters, which were charged twice. Last year it was exactly the same. In the end we paid €250 and just accepted it because we had a great time. But that is and cannot be legal! After we spoke up, we received €33 in cash back, but one loaf was still overcharged. All in all, this is just cheeky and really outrageous, because it can't be that the same mistake happens twice! Last year, when we wanted to take the food that was way too expensive with us and marked it as “takeaway,” it was simply thrown away. (Something like that can happen, but with such expensive food it really is a waste!!) I don't know if it's due to the incompetence of these employees or if it's a scam, but no matter what the reason is, we'll never come back anyway.

The table was booked for December 31 at 22.30 via table booking via Google Maps. A confirmation of the table reservation arrived. When we arrived at the establishment, it turned out that it was closed and not open for visitors. We do not recommend this establishment.

Stopped in spontaneously and were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food. We had entrecote and mixed meat platter. It came along with fries with extra mayo, salad with dressing, patatas bravas with aioli and herb butter. The steak was medium rare and the mix included lamb, ribs, steak and beef skewer. Very tasty and tender. Everything was plentiful and good. Thank you very much for allowing us to be your guests. :-)

BEWARE TOURIST TRAP. Way too expensive, you'll get ripped off and get frozen food in return. Toilets unclean, atmosphere uncomfortable. The owner was extremely disrespectful, touched me unnecessarily when I confronted him politely to demonstrate his “power” and told me he could be my father. REALLY WATCH WHERE YOU GO. The staff literally admitted it was a rip off. When I said "It's way too expensive, the food wasn't really good and wasn't worth €60." I was answered "That's not my problem, you still have to pay".

A colleague and I visited the store. We ordered what is shown in the pictures. Starting with the fact that I wanted a medium steak, some of it was still raw. I also couldn't keep the food down in the evening and unfortunately had to vomit. I'm assuming something wasn't right anymore. Hence the poor rating of the food. The service was very nice. The cost was €40, which is okay.

We ordered a daily menu for 14 euros. The food arrived quickly. The plate was mostly filled with fries. A little less salad and a very small skewer of meat. The ratio of side dishes to meat is not ok. The food itself was tasty. The service was not interested in our complaint. The daily menus are better elsewhere in Enschede.

Normally an okay place, but the service was now really scandalous. We waited an hour and a half for our food which we never received. Servers asked us if we had ordered a main menu. So when we were done with it after 1.5 hours, there was a response. According to the manager it would normally take 10 minutes. Then the cook arrived, angry with the servers, according to him it had never arrived, while we had ordered the bread and calamari together with the main course, and it was also repeated by the server. Fortunately, we only had to pay for what we did get: bread, 5 drinks and calamari. That alone was 50 euros.

I never thought that their foods will be so delicious. From all the tapas that I order nothing is failed and also their cocktail! But the thing is I order the mix tapas for 2 person and when we ask said whether we can get half of the tapas vegetarian and non-vegetarian the waiter said I can choose myself. But when the bills come out, they charge me with the original price not the packet price 🙃

We made a reservation 3 weeks ago, when we arrived there was no table available. In the end we ended up crammed somewhere in between. Immediately ordered delicious bread with the 1st drink, but it was not there after 45 minutes. Had to ask twice. Then 3 out of 5 had food for the other 2 they recorded the wrong thing. When they finished it, the other 2 main courses arrived. The food is quite tasty but the atmosphere was ruined!! Never again!! In the end, we were reimbursed for the drinks for the inconvenience

Tables were a bit dirty and it's strange when you're constantly being served by different waiters. But once I tried my steak, I forgot all the bad things about the restaurant. Priced a little higher than usual, but it was all worth it.

Ate here 2 times because of the good drinks actually. The first time i ordered Sirloin (Medium) and Tenderloin (Medium rare). It comes out perfectly. But i guess i like the taste of Sirloin better, even tho it said in the menu card, that is the most tender part...hmm.. The patatas going with was sooo yummyy tooo!!! If u wanna try small tapas first, then take it! About the drinks, we stay with Kamikaze (green) and Hurricane (red) mostly. These 2 were sooooo delicious, that we had to order (at the first time) a second one. And we also try the Pornstar Martini (brown), it was okay but not our taste. Service doesn't care much about the guests after the food come out, but we didn't mind. It's not a problem too much. 2 Persons : 71€ (with drinks)

Dit is de eerste keer sinds het verbouwd werd van VVV kantoor naar restaurant dat ik hier binnenstapte. Mijn verwachtingen waren laag omdat ik de logo’s en decoratie een beetje goedkoop vind ogen. Maar wat werden we aangenaam verrast! De biefstuk was precies goed gebakken, de zalmsalade was genereus en het geitenkaasje met honing was verrukkelijk. Aanrader!!

Nice restaurant and bar in the heart of oude market I tried various see food dishes here. Mussels, zalm on toasty bread is my favourite. Carreboan chicken is also tasty. Garlic bread is simply awesome.

Tegenvaller, de omschrijving van tapas die op de kaart staan komt niet overeen met datgene wat je krijgt. De chorizoworstjes leken niet op chorizo, champignons in tempura beslag leken meer op oliebollen qua beslag, de kippenpoten in pittige saus waren kippenvleugels, de gevulde jalopenos waren in een heel dik paneerjasje gebakken. Ik zou dit restaurant niet willen aanbevelen. Teleurstellende ervaring

Céntrico bar de tapas tanto calientes como frías , el servicio es amable y rápido. Buen sitio para hacer una parada y tomar algo de picoteo mientras vas visitando la ciudad.

Wij waren hier met twee personen op zaterdagavond. Het eten (steaks) was erg lekker. De voorgerechtjes ook prima. De toetjes waren weinig bijzonders. Gelukkig wel weer erg goede cocktails. De bediening kan wel wat klantgerichter en professioneler. Het was duidelijk hun bijbaan en het leken geen mensen die echt iets hebben met horeca of gastvrijheid. Misschien is het doordeweeks anders.

Er was een slechte balans tussen kosten en wat je kreeg op een bord en de smaak was matig. Ook waren de dranken niet goed gemaakt, bom vol suiker, zoveel dat het niet eens meer oplost. De reservering bevestiging kwam een week te laat binnen.

Op een zeer leuke lokatie ,met uitzicht over het plein, gegeten met aantrekkelijke prijzen. De lamsrack is aan te bevelen

Essen war sehr lecker. Service war etwas speziell, man hat keinen festen Kellner. Dadurch sind sie sehr aufmerksam, allerdings waren 4 Kellner bei uns am Tisch und wollten die Bestellung aufnehmen. Alles in allem aber zu empfehlen.

Deze gelegenheid heeft een vriendelijke & Service gerichte bediening. Het restaurant is goed gelegen aan het plein met een ruim terras en heeft een gevarieerd menue. Het biedt heerlijke, goed bereide gerechten & cocktails. Aan de presentatie ervan wordt zorg besteed. Bijkbaar staan niet alle gerechten en ook dranken op de menue kaart. Dat is wel degelijk een aandachtspunt. Verder is het restaurant zeker een nieuw bezoek waard.
