Croissanterie Medelandia in Haarlemmerhoutkwartier

Simple and delicious... very Dutch 👍😍

Normally always top-notch, but recently the sandwiches haven't been as tasty. The chicken has become tough and has a strange taste. The quality has really gone downhill. Medelandia, fix this!!! Normally when that lady with the headscarf is working, it's always great, so maybe it's due to new staff or something.

My favorite place to grab a tasty sandwich in Haarlem. My favorites are kefta and spicy chicken!

Top service! Really sweet staff

It was very tasty, I enjoyed it and would come here more often.

Tasty lunch sandwiches at reasonable prices with friendly service. 0.30 extra for card payments; I personally really appreciate that cash is still accepted here :)

Top sandwiches, delicious and amazing service

The best and cheapest sandwich shop in Haarlem. And the owner is very nice. New addiction added to the list 😂

Super friendly staff and the best sandwiches in Haarlem. I would definitely check them out (also in the perfect location).

The sandwiches are fantastic! The selection (not too extensive, nice and simple) is fantastic! The service is fantastic! You get very friendly service and clear explanations of the selection. The atmosphere is relaxed and unfussy. Delicious! You know what you're getting, which makes it appealing and more than makes up for the long wait times.

Best top 3 sandwiches in town. I eat it often, full of meat, warm as proper diner and affordable price. Thank you! Keep coming back over and over

Delicious sandwiches and the friendliest service in Haarlem, really recommended.

You won’t find a better warm snack in Haarlem for these prices and quality of service. This place is casual and very friendly… and they remember every customer.

The food was surprisingly good! The flavors were perfectly balanced, and everything was served beautifully fresh. You could taste the care and attention that went into its preparation. Definitely recommended for anyone who appreciates high-quality, flavorful food!

Always enjoy it here, come here weekly, never disappoints.

Always a nice place to sit and enjoy! The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Delicious sandwich. I go there every week and still enjoy it. Very friendly!

Top quality sandwiches and good service.

Super nice people, it feels like you're at home, the tastiest sandwiches in Haarlem, I recommend you 100%!!!!!!!

Delicious sandwiches and always friendly staff. Top place!

I come here every week and it's always great

Delicious sandwiches and great service

Definitely the best sandwich in Haarlem, and the staff is super friendly too. Recently renovated, and sandwiches are now ready quickly, too.

Good sandwiches with unique taste and nice bread.

Great grilled sausage sandwich. A very tasty homemade warm roll. The amount of grilled sausage was a bit disappointing. I had the spicy chicken sandwich on a friend's recommendation. Delicious with garlic sauce. Paying by card is €0.30 more expensive than cash. The staff was super friendly.

The best and tastiest hot chicken sandwich in Haarlem! Lovely owner and 10/10 service.

Great hot chicken sandwich and nice lady taking/serving orders.

Delicious, but I had a huge stomach ache after eating it.

Delicious hot chicken sandwiches

The ultimate hot chicken sandwich, look no further. Great coffee too.

Not at all stingy with the chicken and well filled, also nice and warm

so to those people behind the counter

Had a delicious hot chicken sandwich. Please note that this is already quite hot, so before you add sambal, taste it, it is very tasty and good price!

Delicious chicken sandwich for a reasonable price in a top location!

You're better off eating a pure sambal sandwich...

My favorite sandwich, I often come here for my lunch, I come here several times a week since I live in Haarlem and found this place. Don't be fooled by those 1 star reviews posted here, these people don't know what really good food is or are afraid that you can also eat halal as a Dutch person, or were really born with their heads up their backs. For 5 euros, where a sandwich is made from everything, even the bread!! You don't see that often and where everything becomes more expensive, you have won me as a customer.

Definitely the best sandwich in Haarlem and also super friendly staff. Recently renovated and sandwiches are now also ready quickly. Top tent

The best sandwich shop in Haarlem

Best hot chicken sandwich 😋 very nice employees!

They made me a delicious sandwich

Very tasty sandwiches only if you come between 12:00 and 14:00, you should know that you have to wait at least 10/15 minutes for your order. It would be nice if there were at least 2 employees at the counter/cash register as standard. And two in the kitchen.

Well-filled sandwiches for not too much money

Worst and dirtiest thing ever. Such a stomach ache after eating a hot chicken sandwich

During my student years, I came here for a hot chicken sandwich during breaks or in-between hours. It was still tasty then, but there is very little left of it now. Inside it smells very musty, comparable to a dirty toilet. Of course that's unpleasant and disgusting. More importantly, the chicken sandwich has declined dramatically. Both the size of the sandwich and the contents. A huge disappointment, for me it was the last time at Medelandia…

This used to be one of the tastiest chicken sandwiches you could get, but unfortunately that has changed. Very little lettuce on the sandwich, small scanty sandwich. Never seen such a stingy sandwich before. And it's a pity that they no longer serve a pistolet, as they used to, just another small sandwich!

Top
