What a nice store! I have been in a Hotel, almost directly beside this store. They have awsome cupcakes - i bet, all is selfmade. Also they have other things like cookies and so. Everything tasted just awsome! I can reccomend this bakery absolutely to everybody!

Bought 8 mini cupcakes today. We had one of those in our house; it looked delicious, but oh my...what dry and tasteless cupcakes, as if they'd been sitting there for days. And the topping was way too sweet and tasteless. We threw 5 away, and we're true cupcake lovers. Such a shame.

I had to wait for 5 minutes while the attendant chit-chatted with someone. She was then extremely rude. I ordered a cupcake, and she handed me one that was already smashed in a box - only for me to later discover it was moldy.

Picked up a fantastic Pride cake here! Safely transported through Amsterdam on a cargo bike, and the rainbow cake looked amazing on board! It tasted delicious, and the team's enthusiasm made the experience even more fun! Thanks! 🌈🌈🦄🦄🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈

I had a very bad experience with an employee today, which is why I'm writing this review. I asked the employee for a cake truffle, but I saw a piece had fallen off—it looked like a bite. I asked her not to give it to me, "I want a whole truffle, I'll pay for it once." The employee replied that she THINKS the piece itself had fallen off... I said yes, but it could also have been a mouse. The employee felt insulted and changed her tone towards me. When I saw this, I advised her to simply remove the truffle for the customers; it simply doesn't look nice, and that she THINKS and isn't SURE, so she's removing it for now. Unfortunately, this woman couldn't handle criticism or respect customers. She arrogantly retorted, yelling that I shouldn't put my handbag on the edge of the counter (because I wanted to pay). She said it was for hygiene reasons because they prepare sandwiches there (I had enough distance). She had an arrogant attitude and tone, and other customers and colleagues caught on, so I left the business in a rage to prevent the situation from escalating further. My experience was very bad, as I'm a neighbor, so I'll be passing it on from now on. A loss for the business, not for the customer.

I visited this place for the first time and was trying to understand how things work, I had a few basic questions about the food, like what a “zalm salade” is and whether the “spread of the day” was fresh. Instead of being helpful, the staff was impatient, dismissive, and even sarcastic (telling me the spread was “6 years old”). When I calmly pointed out there was no need to be rude, she remained confrontational. As an international visitor, I didn’t feel welcomed at all. The attitude came across as unkind and possibly even discriminatory toward people who don’t speak Dutch fluently or are unfamiliar with local norms. The place itself seemed okay, but the staff’s behavior really soured the experience. Would not recommend if you are expecting kindness, patience, or a welcoming vibe, especially if you’re new to the area.

What a great place! The cookies were really great, and even though the cream from the cannoli was almost too sweet for me personally, it was definitely great and this bakery was worth a visit. I think it was really good price-wise too.

Completamente no comestible. Probé varios productos horneados diferentes (cupcakes, cakesicle, cakepop, etc. . .) y las ÚNICAS partes comestibles fueron las decoraciones pre-hechas (piense en las chispas / bolas de oblea) y una decoración de chocolate. El glaseado/glaseado y la porción horneada de las golosinas que recibí me hicieron vomitar.

This was my first time ordering from this shop. Ordered for my daughter’s first birthday. The cake was very beautiful looking and exactly what I would ask for . The butter cream was a bit sweet for us but it was perfectly prepared and tasted very fresh and I will definitely order from here again

I tried some of the mini cupcakes, carrot cake, caramel and choclate; they were all good. However, I reccomend you to wait before consuming them, otherwise the cream will feel like ice cream.

The display case caught our attention from the street so we stopped in and got a few mini cupcakes to snack on unfortunately they were extremely dry we each only ate one and threw the rest away.

Unfortunately a bad experience here in Amsterdam. The city is welcoming, but this “no” service bordered on embarrassing. My husband leaned against the counter to place the order and the employee had her head down and was cleaning something and didn't even lift her head, avoiding eye contact so as not to have to answer. He then questioned her interest in answering and then she asked “what can I help with” terrible 👎

Tried the carrot cake, and it looked amazing! 🍰 However, I must admit it didn't quite hit the mark taste-wise. Despite its charming appearance, the flavor was not as satisfying as I had hoped. I'm willing to give it another shot and explore different options on the menu next time for a more delightful experience. 🥄✨

Ik vind het heel erg sneu voor de aardige dames die ons vlak voor sluitingstijd vandaag op zaterdag nog even hebben geholpen. Maar eenmaal thuisgekomen bij de koffie, de mini cupcakes geprobeerd, maar ze zijn echt verschrikkelijk. De cakejes zijn droog en de topping echt verschrikkelijk (zoet, namaak, vreemd). Sorry maar dit is echt een teleurstelling want ze zien er leuk en heerlijk uit. 8 voor € 12,00 hadden we veel betere kwaliteit verwacht. Jammer. Ze gaan regelrecht de afvalbak in, sorry dat ik dit moet zeggen. Een extra ⭐️ voor de dames, maar niet voor het product.

Needed a cake for the same day. There were very nice looking cakes in the fridge ready to pick up just by simply choosing one. And the price was €25! It’s like adding extra €6 for more better looking cake and taster than the ones from the supermarket. Love it 🎂

Echt de lekkerste en de leukste taarten! Weliswaar hartje Amsterdam, maar afhalen kan ook in goed aan te rijden Zwanenburg. De cijfers zijn ook erg goed qua smaak en ontwerp.

We had requested a dinosaurus cake as our 2 year old loves dinos for his birthday. The store made us the most beautiful dino cake which was a piece of art. Everyone present not only appreciated the look but also the taste of the cake. It was delicious including the icing and the toppings. We were also late in collecting the cake but the store owners were very kind in keeping their store open for us to be able to collect the cake. Overall an extremely satisfying experience in customer support and delivery of the end product as requested. I would definitely recommend everyone to try out their amazing cakes :))

Divine little takeaway bakery style shop. Cookies, slices, cupcakes, cannolis, all the things a sweet tooth could desire. Also seem to do rolls for the more savoury approach. My favourite was the salted caramel almond and oat cookie 😊

I ordered a cake online from Belfast for a 30th birthday. They took instructions what I was after for the cake. I emailed them what time I would arrive to pick the cake up. The cake was incredible and beyond what I expected. The party loved the taste of the cake. Highly recommend for anyone travelling for a birthday to order from this bakery.

I bought a red velvet cake from this bakery. It was frozen to keep it fresh. The crust was too sweet but the sponge layer was amazing as far as both the texture and the taste.

De beste plek voor broodjes in hartje Amsterdam. Rijke keuze aan goed belegde broodjes. Daarnaast hebben ze ook de lekkerste zoetigheid (brownie spekkoek, muffins, taarten). Ik kom hier al jaren en blijf dat ook hopelijk nog jaren doen.

Loved this little bakery. Had been looking for a different bakery when i stumbled on this gem across the street from the Anne Frank museum house. Great croissant and cup of latte but it was the sausage roll that blew me away. I can still taste the delicious filling in my mouth. Can't wait to go back to Amsterdam and eat there again.

Wij hebben onze bruidstaart en cup cakes laten maken bij Cup a la Cake. De service is super. Daarnaast kregen we veel complimenten dat het zo lekker was. De taart zag er prachtig uit. Heel stijlvol. Daarnaast was het niet duur (in vergelijking met andere bruidstaarten). Absolute een aanrader!
