Bakery Bartels BV in Hoofddorppleinbuurt

It's a shame this bakery went bankrupt because it was the best. "Bread factory" was a forbidden word there, but in reality, it was. I was fortunate enough to work there for 10 years as a weekend driver and substitute driver, much to their and my satisfaction. It also helped me build my nest egg for 10 years, which came in very handy a few years later when the banking crisis hit in 2008 and my business practically ground to a halt. The bankruptcy of Bartels Bakery is deeply saddening to me.

Bartels Bakery has been a household name in Amsterdam and the surrounding area since the last century. Even though they no longer have a store and only do bulk deliveries to businesses and wholesalers, the quality is significantly better than that of supermarkets, that's for sure!

Only delivers to hotels etc, sontheir bread is top quality
