A great place for breakfast or a snack. They offer delicious cakes, toast, and pancakes. The place is slightly off the beaten track, making it much quieter and a great place to relax.

Tourist scam, you will pay 6 EUR for this tiny piece you bought to take away (so you don't occupy any place and time in cafe, just order and go. Perfect place in the past, but now they are just making money, as much as they can Had the same issue a couple of years ago, their support dudn't offer any promocode, no excuses, nothing. For 10-15 eur you may buy a whole cake at Albert Heijn across the street. Good luck.

We went to this cafe with high hopes after a friend had given me a recommendation. The food was good and tasty, however the service was appalling. The staff were rude, particularly an older man. They made fun of customers in front of their face just for asking a simple question such as ‘can we sit up upstairs’ or ‘is this cake available” and it made everything very uncomfortable. If I could make any recommendation, it is to grab something from the take away sections as to avoid the staff as much as possible. They also added a service charge and didn’t give the receipt without asking.

The service was a bit slow despite the small number of customers, but the food was good quality. We tried the savory dishes, but not the sweet ones, but the cakes were tempting! When it came to paying, the EFT didn't work, but the waiter made us pay in the souvenir shop across the street.

A very nice and fast service with a friendly staff. Perfect for a brunch right next to Dam Square. Their terrace has no sun due to the church but it’s just as enjoyable as any other terrace in the city. We chose the hangover sandwich and the tosti with a cappuccino, everything was very tasty. I really recommend

Strange that if you order a salmon salad, you are charged extra for the salmon. And while we had asked in advance what that extra amount on the menu meant... the explanation was, if you ordered extra salmon, grilled vegetables, etc., an extra amount was added. The salmon that belonged to the salmon salad was not ordered extra... Special experience here...

A very pleasant little cocoon to relax in and watch the street and the people passing by. We adopted this place to draw and drink teas. With the added bonus of a Dutch Apple pie not to be missed, it was so good and perfectly fitted with cinnamon! We even came back before leaving our 4-day mother-daughter weekend in Amsterdam.

Such a cute bakery. They have the best cupcakes ive ever had. They not only have tons of varieties but also all of them taste amazing. This is my spot when I am showing people around the city and whenever it’s someone’s birthday.

The most amazing Dutch apple pie I have ever had! Wonderful lemonade, great service. Glad I do not have this place in my hometown, I would 100lbs heavier! This is a must visit on our next trip to Amsterdam.

A real setting in the Jordaan district with a view of the Nieuwe Kerk, very pretty decor, perfect service, the dishes are very good and plentiful, recommended by the backpacker's guide and amply validated! For Strasbourg residents, it’s a bit like the Kammezell at the foot of the cathedral!

I know there are many branches out there. But this one is a Gem out of others. Friendly young employees with kind and friendly service. The carrot cake was out the world, cappuccino and flat white both tasted perfect. A great experience as a tourist in Amsterdam 🎉

Overall not bad but not good either. We had two dishes with chicken but there was no chicken it was literally turkey cold cut that’s been ripped up. Expected more and not going back but it was fine I guess. It was definitely too expensive for what it was.

Not really my cup of tea… I don’t go crazy for cakes unless they’re really good. I had the red velvet cupcake and I think it was overly sweet for me. Prices are obviously quite high given the very central location close to Dam square. Staff was okay, bonus point for the cosy vibe upstairs. I’d not recommend coming here unless you’re a tourist and wanna do tourist stuff, there surely are much more local and characteristic places you can go to other than an American bakery

We had a nice brunch. Food is delicious and has good portions with sides. The cake is huge! Very cosy atmosphere.

We had a number of cakes there last week. None was good for us. Texture was hard and the taste was not to our liking. Cream was either too sweet or too salty with sweetness. Our first visit in 2024 was good. That's why we went back again. But was really disappointed last week.

We were looking for a "normal" place to have lunch. Received with a smile upon arrival and friendly service at the table. Very fast service just after lunch time (1:30 PM). I'm a big eater, so I found the portion a bit small. My friend didn't agree, hence the 4 stars for the food. Toilet a bit dirty but not disturbing.

I asked the internet which one was the best place to have a good breakfast in Amsterdam and this one popped up. Well.. what can I say. It was fine, but nothing spectacular guys , I had an avo toast with scrambled eggs and bacon and just the last two components cost me 7-8€ for 2 scrambled eggs and 4 slices of bacon. The avo toast itself was a bit poor if I took it by itself. Expensive in the end as a breakfast but good, nothing amazing. The cappuccino was good :) Cappuccino-orange juice and the rest for 24€. Remember: I’m talking about what I had.

The lady who worked there couldn't help but smile. It would make the atmosphere so cozy if the lady behind the bar would communicate a little more friendly. A reason for me and my girlfriend to choose a different tent if she works there.

Lovely stop for cake and coffee. I was walking back to my hotel and desired something sweet. While I had hoped for an apple pie they did have a tasty banana and walnut cake with cream cheese whip. The cake was amazing. Moist and perfectly balanced. Hot chocolate going with it was also great. Service was ok however they were very quick to tell me that they were closing in 15min. They were already in the packing up process. Overall a good experience and I would visit again.

A cute cafe in the middle of Amsterdam! Our server was super nice. The food was delicious and the prices are fair. For people who struggle with walking should not try to go upstairs.

Ate delicious cake. The coffee (Latte Macchiato) was actually a bit too much for me. What makes this business especially attractive is the building. It's old and cozy. And the spiral staircase brings back memories of my old home. It would have been 5 stars if the toilet hadn't felt so claustrophobic. If you are a little taller or bigger you should have left the door open to pee.

Nice to sit down. It's all very tight. But pastries are great and very large portions. Toasti was just not warm and then it was expensive. Stairs are very narrow and not suitable for people with mobility problems.

We have been coming here for years, every time we are in Amsterdam. This is an absolute must for anyone who loves cake! The pieces of cake are of serious size... Everything freshly prepared every day and also delicious coffee. The sandwiches we saw passing by also looked delicious! We'll try it out next time! Highly recommended.

A great place to stop for a drink and to enjoy some cake. Hummingbird cake was moist and a very generous slice, the black bottom cupcake was just right and a good amount of cream cheese frosting. Service was good and the location is very convenient.

A hospitality course is appropriate for the girls they put to work there. When you enter you are given a dry look, not greeted. Then I walk upstairs because that's where I usually sit. After a while I don't see anyone so I go downstairs to talk. I ask if I should order downstairs or they will come to the table. I am interrupted by a dark girl who says in a rude tone “upstairs is closed”. I ask her why it doesn't say that anywhere and why can I sit there? Whereupon, according to her logic, she says that I just sat upstairs, she blames it on me. I am given the choice to sit outside or inside downstairs. Because of this unfair treatment I left. The staff clearly lacks communication skills. It is a nice business with unfortunately unqualified staff.

It's a bit touristy these days. Of course, cakes remain tasty and have mega-large pieces. This remains great. Service also excellent and friendly. But… the ham/cheese sandwich is very small and €11! Outrageous price, I really feel ripped off with those 3 stray chips next to it and this sky-high price for such a small sandwich. Not normal. Buttercream on the cupcake was rock hard, so it was not pleasant to eat. The whole place also stinks of weed. Had difficulty finding a table (first inside, then outside) where the inconvenience was less. Came there for my birthday with my daughter to eat cake, but the smell of weed did not make it very relaxing.

Great place with good prices in the heart of Amsterdam, where the staff is still approachable in Dutch (🤯). Hell's Kitchen Burger is definitely recommended, one of the best burgers I've ever had.

Very nice place, with outdoor tables too. Perfect for a snack or a quick lunch. Excellent food, well presented, very honest prices. Friendly and attentive staff. Tasty club sandwiches and exquisite cakes (paradisiacal Lemon Merengue: not too tart cream, not too buttery base, thick, compact and soft meringue). Little curiosity: the other two businesses located on the intersection also have 3 in their names.

Delicious food, friendly and helpful staff in a beautiful and central location. However, the men's toilet does require renovation in my opinion.

When we arrived and got seated, we waited approximately 15-20min before they took our order. The waitress didn’t seem to aknowledge that we were kept waiting for a long time and she seemed to be in a bad mood… After we got our food ( which took about 20 min to arrive ), it was not as expected… the food was very bland with little to no flavour or spices :( For 14€ this was a “lack luster” experience.

Most of the places I went to in the Netherlands were friendly, but this place was especially friendly. All staff were friendly, comfortable and considerate.

I recently visited De Drie Graefjes and had one of the worst experiences ever. The service was incredibly slow – easily the slowest I have ever encountered. Despite not being busy, it took an unreasonably long time for my order to be served. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive, making the entire visit quite frustrating. I expected a relaxing experience but instead left feeling annoyed and disappointed. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for efficient and friendly service.

In ultra-touristy area off Dam Square so price in consequence but good value, good coffee (matcha latte especially beautiful ☕😊) and nice people. One apple pie portion big enough for four to share! 🥧😁

I bought 2 cakes to celebrate my birthday with my colleagues, I just came to buy them directly (but I guess you can order them in advance). Excellent choice, perfect consistency and wonderful taste, we all loved them, I bought apple pie/cake and red velvet cake. I'm very happy with my choice

Last time the extra avocado ordered with the sandwich was missing. We came back today and this was compensated and we also received 2 cupcakes on the house! Very sweet staff, top service and always delicious. All colleagues now have lunch here 😊

A breakfast/coffee shop in a great location You can also sit on the upper floor. The service is neither fast nor slow, they delivered it exactly when we wanted it. We can say that the prices are average and reasonable. If I come to Amsterdam again, I may stop by. We also liked the breakfast, there is no problem with the taste.

Overall great location and I like the cappuccino. You can also find seats upstairs. However, even though cakes look good, you can feel the sugar grains in your mouth which is unpleasant 🥹

Awful. We were so disappointed. Popped here for breakfast as reviews seemed pretty ok. This was our lowest point on visiting this wonderful city. While the location is great, the cookery for breakfast, and coffee was awful.

Exceptional apple pie never eaten so good

The woman who took my order was nice, but as another review stated, it doesn’t seem like the employees want to work here. My party & I received glares & dirty looks from many of the staff. It felt like we were intruding in on something. The strawberry matcha I ordered was terrible and wasn’t prepared traditionally with a whisk. The thick, strawberry, jam-like substance sat at the bottom of the cup and took abt. 15 mins of mixing to combine. The matcha itself had little to no flavor. Would definitely not recommend if you’re looking for quality matcha or a positive environment. This is laughable as a sign advertising how phenomenal the drink was enticed me to order it.

This man who works there, probably the boss, insulted us. Every request from our side was denied. He wanted us to sit outside in the rain. We had the feeling he wanted to get rid of us. Even the employees were ashamed of this bad-tempered person. I hope you pay your girls properly. The cakes were mediocre, especially the rainbow cake (which only consisted of sugar, not recommended). We were there with our son. Since I'm an honorable person, I didn't want to argue with this Tyorn who works there in front of my son. In summary, there are better places in Amsterdam where the customer is respected and you can feel comfortable.

Coffee and delicious cake(s). Sometimes it seems like there is not enough service for the number of guests, but we come for the peace and quiet and a cup of coffee! All in all highly recommended!
