Curtis cafe in Wijk 01 Stadskern

We come from Amsterdam, and every time we are in Amersfoort, we definitely stop by Curtis. The pastrami is truly fantastic, the atmosphere is great, and the service is perhaps the best part of all. Super enthusiastic, welcoming, and an incredibly friendly owner. If you are in Amersfoort, you simply have to stop by here. Tastiest food, best atmosphere, and great service. Highly recommended! I have been happily going to Curtis for a year now to go out. Such a great atmosphere often, but that horn, oh that horn—whatever it has to do with—please stop it, I hear it from everyone too. That horn is really annoying all evening. STOP THE SIRENE!!!

Enjoyed watching the World Cup on a projector screen. Relaxed. Nice staff and good atmosphere.

Nice place, but it's a shame about the security. If you have a lot of tattoos, you're already considered a problem.

Great bar in Hof Square Central Amserfoort. Staff are friendly. Bar shows sporting events on big screen. There is plenty of outdoor seating. DJ at weekends.

It's a fun place for young people aged 16 to 24. But if you're a bit older, I recommend going to the Jackson or Miles. They serve delicious shots and drinks, and it's usually very busy and lively. Friendly staff.

I had a nice drink here. But suddenly I had to leave because I supposedly wanted to kick the waitress. It was completely outrageous. As soon as I was sent away, they started cleaning up, so they just wanted us gone, but they never politely asked us to leave. A terrible place, never go there.

Not busy on a Friday night, which is surprising because the atmosphere was good and the service was especially great. (We were there in the evening for drinks and a snack.)

What an incredibly rotten, utterly unsanitary place. I literally saw mice running around. It's a wonder it's so busy; this isn't even worth a star. Do something about it.

A great atmosphere and perfect food...

We were out with the family today and ate outside with a total of 10 people. Curtis Café was the surprise of the day. The food was very tasty. The burgers and sandwiches are an absolute recommendation. The portions were generous. The service excellent. And all of this in one of the busiest squares in the city. Price/performance 10/10

A (student) café where you can go wild at night. During the day this is one of the best terrace locations in the center of Amersfoort

We waited a long time for service, people who sat on the terrace after us were also helped earlier. We got up and sat with the neighbors where we could order right away.

Great terasse tzat is extended in tze evening. Good intwrnational service and cool beers. Not cheap though!

Friendly service, probably didn't choose the right thing, but the omelette was bland. Nice wine though

Hier afgelopen vrijdagavond geweest. Een gezellig café.

Hele goede en vriendelijke bediening maar de kwaliteit van het eten is echt niet goed. Carpaccio smaakt naar de kant en klare carpaccio van de AH en de parmezaanse kaas smaakte naar plastic, jammer! Ook geen keuze tussen bruin en wit brood. veel te duur voor wat je krijgt

Bonito lugar para tomar café en el centro de Amersfoort con vistas a la plaza. La terraza es bonita y el interior es acogedor. De precio está bien.

Vriendelijke bediening hoor. Maar qua sfeer en prijs kwaliteit is het niet mijn hut. Voor mij geen tweede keer meer. Maar dat is puur persoonlijk natuurlijk😏

Prima terras in centrum van Amersfoort. Met terrasverwarming, dat was wel even prettig op het moment van ons bezoek. Vlotte bediening en leuk uitzicht op het mooi verlichte plein.

Waren in Amersfoort das erste Mal und wollten mittags eine Kleinigkeit essen. Am Markt ein Restaurant neben dem anderen und alle sahen wirklich einladend aus. Haben uns dann für Curtis Café entschieden und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Wir hatten Kroketten, Pommes und Burger. Alles sehr lecker. Bedienung auch richtig nett und aufmerksam. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Personeel is vriendelijk en wilt graag meedenken met de wensen van de klant. Je kan zelfs pinnen bij de toiletten

Heerlijk plekje op het terras in de zon! Genieten van de lentezon in maart met een lekker biertje van de tap. Proost!

I went here with a friend for lunch. We sat inside on the left from the entrance, since the terrace was full, and ordered drinks and two burgers. When coming in it is quite obviously more of a pub/café then a lunch or dinner place, but the burgers, though a little pricey, where great. They came without fries, so we ordered some fried chicken and the chef was kind enough to give us one extra piece, since 7 was hard to devide in two ^^ When we came in, the terrace was full, and some other costumers where inside, but during our stay it got even busier. The two young ladies that worked there where realy busy, and though they also where realy friendly, it was verry hard to get their attention to order anything from the table, so most of the time we had to get up and order it at the bar, wich wasnt too bad, as that was abt two steps from our table, but i did feel that after waving multiple times, and not getting noticed, for more then 30minutes, multiple times, was a little frustrating. Granted, i do believe they where the only 3 people working at the time, as even the chef pinched in eventually, and brought the food to the tables himself. Anyhow, all in all, the service was unattended and slow, but verry friendly, and the food was good. Inside it was a little chilly, but i bet with the sun out, the terrace was nice. Our table had sticky spots from drinks from someone before us, but the toilets where clean. Once they are able to hire more staff i wouldnt mind eating here again.

Altijd gezellig om dit café aan te doen. Héél aardig personeel en de vriendelijke café eigenaar is een dikke vriend van onze hond. Die krijgen we beslist niet meer langs Curtis want daar wordt hij verwend. 👌
