When we arrived, it was a bit messy. They had to register our table so we could order. That took a while. But once the table was ready, ordering went smoothly and quickly. The food was delicious, and we had 2.5 hours of unlimited drinks, including drinks. Now that's a great concept.

Let me start with the sushi, which was, of course, fantastic—no complaints whatsoever! The service was very friendly and cheerful, which was infectious. We were extremely satisfied with this all you can eat sushi restaurant. The sushi was prepared fast, fresh, beautifully, and tasted excellent. The staff were friendly, fast, and I especially want to highlight that we felt welcome from the beginning to the end. The selection of dishes was huge and everything we tried was delicious. The service was absolutely terrible. I went there on Sunday and complained that my food was served late. I arrived at 6:15 PM and didn't get my first sushi until 8:00 PM. Then they said, "Yes, it's busy, that's why," but all I saw were orders coming from the person next to me. When I tried to explain myself, it was pointless. The waitress rolled her eyes and walked away. Then the manager couldn't compensate me by letting me take the sushi home because I finally got everything at 9:30 PM and still had to pay for it! Goodbye, thanks. You've lost your regular customer who always comes.

I ordered through Thuisbezorgd, which said it would take a maximum of 70 minutes, but I ended up waiting two hours. I called four times, but they wouldn't answer. I drove to the restaurant because I wanted my food. I ended up waiting another 20 minutes for the sushi to arrive. It was terrible; the restaurant was filthy and understaffed. Hopefully, the food will be better than the terrible service I received. I'll never come here again.

The starters and main courses were good. The dessert buffet was absolutely terrible. There was a fly floating around in one of the fruit bowls. It didn't give me a very hygienic impression. The two waitresses didn't take the empty bowls back when they brought new dishes. We ended up putting them on the table next to us ourselves... It was also a shame that they couldn't crack a smile. Putting the food on the table and then back again... No, we won't be coming back here again. Oh yeah, the couch my wife was sitting on had been repaired with duct tape...

The food was fine, the sushi was tasty but nothing special. No further comments about the food. You can request service via your phone/the system; dishes, sauces, soy sauce. After clicking this three times, we decided to ask ourselves, since the sushi had already been there for 10 minutes. It's not that the service is inherently bad, but I didn't get a warm and welcoming feeling from the moment I walked in. We also ordered two bottles of Sourcy Blue. I can't say for sure that they were refilled with tap water, but I've never seen water filled to the brim before. After seeing this, we thought it was tap water, but this could also be a sham because the bottle had an unusual amount. So I don't want to draw any conclusions here, but we did find it odd. This is our second time here; the first time was a year ago, but we thought, "Good luck!" We'll give it another try, especially since the lower price at Social Deals. But I don't see much difference in terms of service. If you're just here for the food and can overlook the poor service, it's definitely the place. But for the overall experience, you're better off going elsewhere. Next time, I'll choose a slightly more expensive place where good service is a priority.

I sincerely hope this restaurant improves even further, because the potential is definitely there. *Plus points why I keep coming back*: Huge selection: Lots of different dishes, including a wide range of halal options for those who value that. Convenient location: Centrally located and free parking from 6:00 PM. Ordering system via your own phone: Every guest can order on their own device, and everything is clearly summarized. You can immediately see what others have added. Very user-friendly! *Points that really need improvement:* Hospitality & customer service: There's a lot of room for improvement here. For example, I wasn't greeted upon arrival and had to follow the staff member's lead to check my reservation. Table service: When I requested a waiter via the button, it took about 15 minutes for someone to arrive. The greeting consisted of: *"Yes?... Was there anything wrong?"*. This could be friendlier and more professional, for example: *"Hello, you asked for a waiter, how can I help you?"* Serving of dishes: On one occasion, sushi was placed so hard on the table that a piece of fish fell off. The waitress saw this but said nothing. A simple "Sorry, I'll get you a new one" would have made a big difference. Missing orders: Several times, dishes were not served or were served very late. My longest wait was 1 hour and 20 minutes. This gives the impression of a shortage of staff, which negatively impacts the experience. Afterward: Personally, I experience stomach or abdominal discomfort after every visit. This may be a coincidence, but I've noticed it happens more often here than elsewhere. *Conclusion:* Da Wu has everything it takes to be a top-notch restaurant: the dishes, the variety, and a convenient ordering system. But without improvements in hospitality, communication, and service quality, many guests will not be returning anytime soon. I hope management takes this feedback to heart. The foundation is strong, now it's time for execution.

Let me start on a positive note: the food was delicious. Nothing to complain about. But the service leaves a lot to be desired. With a grumpy sigh, your food is placed on the corner of the table without a single word being exchanged. And the worst part was our table, which was simply covered with empty plates. I asked twice if anything could be taken away, after I had neatly stacked everything myself. There was a waitress who even smiled and politely explained what she was serving. I ordered a drink and asked the staff for a glass. The staff member brought the glass, but he grabbed it from above with his hands. That's not appropriate for hygiene reasons. I pointed this out to his colleague, and he agreed—a glass shouldn't be handed that way, but on a plate or in some other hygienic way. The staff member then angrily approached me and tried to confront me. He even said there were plenty of other restaurants I could go to. Unfortunately, the service here has deteriorated significantly. The sushi also doesn't seem fresh anymore—this is the second time I've noticed that. I've eaten at this restaurant before, but lately both the food and the service have been very poor.

Because there were only two waitresses serving in a full restaurant, we had to wait an incredibly long time for drinks and our dishes. Some dishes never arrived or were cold. Furthermore, the empty plates and bowls weren't collected, leaving our entire table piled high. The dessert bar wasn't great either: the white chocolate fountain was off (broken?), making it look very dirty. The whipped cream machine was broken, and the fruit was dried out. We also had good experiences with this restaurant and enjoyed our meal there. However, due to staff shortages and an overcrowded restaurant, it was a complete failure! (And unfortunately, this has happened before.)

I went back two years ago because it was close by and I was with family. I couldn't believe my eyes; it was such a mess. There were eight of us—six adults and two children. The service was antisocial; the food was thrown on the table, and communication was very difficult. We wanted plum wine. It was on the menu, but they snapped, "No, we don't have it." (By the owner.) The food was terrible; some people were already finished, others still waiting to be served. The tables weren't cleared; there were stacks of containers on the tables. People were waiting for takeout, people were waiting in line for a seat. There was trash everywhere. Orders were accidentally dropped several times. It was like a Gordon Ramsay show 😭. One person was making sushi rolls, and three staff members weren't helping enough. Two years ago I gave it a 10, but now I'll never go back.

It started right from the start: during our previous visit, we were asked to leave early. As compensation, we were promised a drink on the house on our next visit. Today we mentioned this, but there was nothing to be found, and for that reason, we didn't get the drink. I didn't make a big deal about it, but it was still a disappointment. Told them a few times they would ask the kitchen but we never got an answer. They have no respect for others we will never come back here! And they don't clear tables either. What a terrible restaurant this is. Just a short summary of what we experienced last night at this shop: *not being welcomed/received upon arrival; *very unfriendly lady at the cash register when you report that you have a reservation; *grumpy staff; *staff not speaking Dutch well; *after 1.5 hours only 1 full round while my wife has already received 2 rounds; *staff is curt when you say something about it; *food is cold when it should be warm; *fried dishes you can throw a window with; *you don't get the cutlery that goes with your dishes, think of soup, still difficult to eat with chopsticks; *after 1.5 decided to leave, pay for 1 person (based on dishes received) and then get the message that you have to join the back of a 10 meter queue. I don't think so, you just arrange a pin machine at the table *paid (for 1 person) and receipt was thrown on the table and the very rude waiter (older man) turned around without saying anything and walked away. If you want a nice evening and want to eat well then you should definitely not go here. Never been treated so badly and eaten so badly.

All the food tastes the same..... The sushi is also not nicely rolled, often a mini piece of fish in a large mountain of rolled rice. Decoration is very minimal. You're not going to have a nice dinner there. Service is ok. Service is very friendly. Ultimately you go there for the food and that is very mediocre.

Hier met Koningsdag wezen eten met mijn vrienden. Het eten was super en komt snel op de tafel! We werden bediend door een halve gare met een enorme oranje strik op haar hoofd die alles behalve aardig was (enorm om gelachen) Nederlandse meisje in de bediening.. super!

I ordered here again for a long time, but unfortunately I did not receive the 2 chicken mango salads...instead I got a vague salad with spicy tuna and a chicken/mango maki 8pcs with mango sauce on top. Such a shame again... There is a clear difference in quality and taste when eating on site or ordering/delivering. Delivery person was at the door exactly at the stated time.

Was de derde keer dat ik hier kwam eten, maar nu met mijn gezin en in het weekend ipv doordeweeks. Mijn tip: ga NOOIT in het weekend hier eten. Om 17:30 bestelde we onze eerste ronde. Om 18:00 onze tweede, maar we hadden nog niet alles gehad van de eerste ronde, maar onze kinderen werden iets wat onrustig. Derde ronde hebben wij om 18:50 besteld en ook toen hadden wij nog niet alles. Om 19:10 de derde ronde laten annuleren, want de kinderen waren het zat dus we gingen maar ons toetje halen en toen we klaar waren met ons toetje kwam ons bakje witte rijst om 19:25 aanzetten terwijl we die om 18:50 hadden besteld voor onze dochter. 35 minuten voor een beetje rijst is toch wel echt heel erg. Daarna nog bijna 15 minuten staan wachten om onze bon te mogen betalen en je krijgt niet een excuus of wat dan ook (hadden al een paar keer geklaagd). Ik gaf aan dat ik het nog nooit zo slecht had meegemaakt bij ze en het antwoord van de medewerker: ik ook. Ook toch nog even een ander ding ze hadden eerst het systeem niet goed gezet en stond er all you can eat & drink en toen kon ik geen pinot bestellen, maar daarna toen het alleen op all you can eat stond kon ik opeens wel pinot bestellen. Toch een beetje gek. Vorige keer dat ik met mijn collega’s hier at hadden wij wel all you can eat & drink en toen konden wij dus ook al geen pinot bestellen en nu snap ik wel waarom…..

Dacht het een Japanse keuken was maar het is van alles wat zelfs de frikandel staat op menu. Ook hoe het klaargemaakt is wat vlees betreft is niet japans maar Chinees vet en veel aangebrand vlees sushi was wel goed maar de rest valt erg tegen echt een vreetschuur. We have been here several times and were generally satisfied. However, the last few times it has been disappointing. The food itself was fine, but we got the impression that the restaurant is becoming somewhat run down. The toilets were very dirty, and there was a lot of chaos behind the bar. The hygiene also didn't seem to be in order, which is strange considering that food is prepared there. The service was not very friendly; we literally shuffled to the table with our food. The cutlery for our child was also handed out with bare hands on the knife and fork, which did not feel very hygienic. With a Social Deal it is still worth it, but for the time being we will ignore this restaurant.

This was my first and likely my last visit to this restaurant. Upon arrival, we waited at the front as it wasn’t clear that the cashier was located inside. Several staff members saw us waiting but did not approach or assist us. Eventually, someone waved us in, and we were shown to our table. However, the experience was uncomfortable, as it felt like everyone was staring at us, and I’m unsure why. Once seated, the staff walked away without explaining how the restaurant operates. We had to call them back to ask for guidance as first-time customers. Contrary to the advertised robot service, the food was brought out by staff who seemed unapproachable and unfriendly. The food itself was underwhelming. The milk tea lacked flavor, and the tapioca pearls tasted stale, as though they had been prepared days ago. The sushi and other dishes were mediocre at best, with little to no flavor. Sushi is just a lot of rice with a very small amount of filling. The floor is filthy and full of receipts. Overall, I was very disappointed with the experience and do not understand the high ratings this restaurant has received.

Not recommended: The food was okay, not much special. Staff is not the friendliest. When asking a paper towel, we get a sneer and get told to get it ourselves. Not all dishes were the correct ones, but we had to finish them even though they were not ordered. Boba tastes like it was made a week ago. The pearls are even worse, all lumped up together. The ice cream scooper was full of ice cream, so when you grabbed it, your hands were full of ice.

I have eaten here many times in the past and have always been very satisfied, but today was really the last time I have been here. We had made a reservation for a quarter to 8, the owner walked past us while we were waiting at the counter while calling, we were then told that our table was not ready yet so that we had to wait a while, of course that can happen sometimes so that's not a big problem. About 10 minutes later we were finally able to sit down and ordered our first round. After about half an hour we ordered another round because the kitchen closed at 10:00 PM and of course we wanted something to eat. After an hour we finally got 4 dishes. We asked several times if everything went well with our vouchers and we were told that they would pass it on. The staff also just walked away in the middle of your sentence during the conversation. In the end we ordered another cocktail for almost €8 and we didn't even get half of the glass filled with drinks, we indicated this and people laughed about it, a small glass with a cocktail was then brought to our table and they brought it to us. wanted to add, we then said that it was no longer necessary and that they should take it back with them. After about 10 minutes we finally got a well-filled glass, but it was the same glass as what I first got, because the topping on the rim had completely melted away. After that we were only able to order 5 dishes because the kitchen was already closing. In the end we still had these dishes. Because we (and the rest of the people in our row) were so dissatisfied, we wanted to pay €55, about €10 less per person because we ate almost nothing and had incredibly bad service. This offer was not accepted, the blame was also placed on us because 'then you should have reported it earlier' while we had already done that several times, eventually the 'bartender' also started to get involved because we They should have just come to the counter for that. So there were certainly no apologies made by the owner, if she had at least apologized for the evening then we would have liked to try it again with them, but if you are treated so rudely then I will certainly never come back.
