The food was good, perfect portion. We got a table immediately. And a nice, cozy, quiet atmosphere.

The ceiling crumbles into your food because it's made of some loose partical thing. The ramen we ordered was OG tonkotsu ramen and it had teriyaki on the pork. I showed the staff the menu where it does not show in the image or in the description that it is teriyaki, to which they said "it may not show it, but it's pretty standard to add teriyaki to it." A quick Google search, or experience with tonkotsu, would say otherwise, but ok.

They sell vegan dishes, and on the second floor, they have lobsters tied up by their claws.

The food was actually quite tasty, but the ratio of sauce to food in the hot bowl isn't great, making a large portion of the bowl somewhat tasteless. Another star deducted for practically forcing you to leave a tip when paying the bill. Very awkward and way too American.

10 to 20 euro for no meat meal. 20 to 40 euro for meat, lobster. Burgers are less than 20

Nice concept, relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff, and most importantly good food. Not to forget, like they advertise, "small town prices".

Background: I am an American here for business travel. I went for dinner here on a night just over halfway through my trip. tl;dr: nice atmosphere and some nice mocktails, but the food is mediocre and bland. You're unable to split bills. They're far better places in the area to go to. The good: Their selection of mocktails was pretty big for a restaurant this size and the one that I chose, the virgin pina colada drink, was very good. The atmosphere is pretty nice and while the mall renovations didn't look so great from the window seat we had, I'm sure that it being there and having that easy access in and out of the mall would be a nice addition. The steak in my dish was seasoned and cooked very well. The atmosphere of the restaurant was quite nice. I like the seating arrangement and it generally was nice to look at The bad: They do not split bills. They don't come to take your food orders, they don't deliver your food having most of it done by robots, and you have to go up to pay and yet they couldn't give you the service of splitting your order. I know tipping is not customary, but it should be even less customary for a service that nobody provided. Splitting bills is such an easy thing to do. The food is mediocre at best. There isn't a lot of flavor, they aren't very innovative, it is extremely bare. The seaweed salad that I got was half lettuce on the bottom because they couldn't give me seaweed for the whole dish. For my bibimbap-styled bowl, there's a teriyaki sauce on the side and nothing else besides the steak and a small dish of pickled radish was seasoned or even cooked. I know it isn't customary to provide tap water in restaurants in the Netherlands or at least restaurants have differing rules, I'll always use it against a restaurant. I will hold that free water should be customary. Here, the only option was bottled water.

The food was good, it's just a shame that they ask for a tip.

The food itself was good, but unfortunately the way we were treated at the end left a very bad impression. We arrived at around 21:30 and were told that we could still order until 21:40. We placed our order right away and received our food at around 21:40. At approximately 21:55, someone came to our table and asked us to pay the bill, and then at 22:00 we were asked to leave because the restaurant was closing. By that point, most of us were almost finished, but one of our friends still had food left and had to rush to finish it while it was still hot. We were not planning to stay long after closing time at all. What bothered me was the fact that we were asked to leave in such a rushed manner after they had willingly taken our order only 20 minutes earlier. It simply did not feel right and made us feel very unwelcome and disrespected. I completely understand that a restaurant has fixed opening hours, but if everyone needs to be out by exactly 22:00, then orders should stop much earlier, perhaps around 21:00 or 21:15. If you accept an order at 21:40, customers should be given a reasonable amount of time to enjoy and finish their meal without feeling pressured to leave. I have never experienced this kind of treatment at a restaurant before, and unfortunately it turned what could have been a good experience into a very disappointing one.

Great place to get together with your friends or/and family. The quality of the food is good for the price you pay with a wide variation of dishes. Staff can be a hit or miss, sometimes friendly but other times simply rude.

A nice, spacious restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. Some of the orders are delivered by robots, which is a fun touch. You order using your phone by scanning the QR code at the table, and the food arrives quite quickly. The staff greet you at the entrance and show you to your table. Since the restaurant is large, I’ve never had to wait for a table. I think it’s a good value-for-money restaurant, and it also seems clean. Last time I tried their signature Stone Bowl. The portion was very generous and filling. It was tasty, but I don’t think it was the best choice for a summer day because it stays extremely hot. Even after about an hour, it was still almost as hot as when it was served. Just be careful while eating because it can easily burn your mouth. The homemade iced tea was good as well. Overall, I’d recommend this place if you’re looking for a casual meal with good portions and quick service.

I went to Dadawan in Eindhoven with a friend and we had a great time. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the service was friendly and fast. I would also like to mention the great location of the restaurant - the terrace offers beautiful views, which creates a special atmosphere. The perfect place to enjoy delicious food and good company. I will definitely be back!

This restaurant puts a price on the menu and then adds additional costs to the bill. I found out about this later and tried to contact them, but was ignored. I do not consider this good practice. Furthermore, the food was lukewarm and took a long time.

We ate at Dadawan Eindhoven for the first time today. We had already been to the Tilburg location. The service is very fast, making the food feel like a 'quick bite'. Fortunately, it is a healthy quick bite, as you can order plenty of healthy dishes. I had a vegan poke wan. The rice & vegetable ratio is off, as there was a lot of rice in proportion to the vegetables. The flavors are very good, though. My husband had a stone plate chicken: A very generous portion! The price-quality ratio is very good. There is also a little robot driving around handing out drinks.

I am coming here since the place was opened. The food is always good, honestly the fried stuff are a bit too oily. Some staff are walking around and just ignoring you, that’s one thing that felt not comfortable. For the rest the food is good and the portions as well, my favourite is the steak.

My wife, daughter, and I had a delicious meal. All three of us had Rumpsteak. The portion size was more than sufficient and well cooked. A minor downside: no one spoke Dutch. However, this will not deter us from definitely coming back here again.

Reliable fast service, big plates, tasty food. For us it was difficult to go out when our kid was 2-3 years old, this place was and still is one of our fsvorite places in Eindhoven.

OMG! After months of trying ramen in various cities, Dadawan seems to be the best. Unfortunately, it's only available in a few cities in North Brabant. The ramen is delicious and incredibly affordable. Highly recommended!

It may not be an all-you-can-eat place, but it has the vibe of a food hall like Lundi or Wirowok. The only difference is that the food is high quality.

ATTENTION! They label everything halal, but it isn't! Pork is prepared just as readily in the same restaurant, which is of course not halal! And the certificate hanging at the entrance comes from Opole, Czech Republic. Which in itself is very strange and dubious.

Dadawan is always very tasty and not too expensive. The staff was friendly and the food is ready quickly. The portions are a bit on the generous side, but that isn't really a disadvantage 🙃

Our go-to spot for poke bowls. I always order the salmon poke bowl myself, which costs 12.95 and is more than enough for one person. The chicken and shrimp is also tasty. It is fresh and quick to prepare. We often grab a few tempura shrimp to take with us. Delicious!

We ordered two dishes : one was a curry and the other was a veggie bowl. The veggie bowl was sooooo hot that it was impossible to eat. Even after 10 minutes, as you can see in the video, it was still steaming, and the egg was burning while the rice and vegetables at the bottom were getting burnt. I understand that this kind of presentation can be appealing, but there should also be consideration for how it can actually be eaten.

Even when there’s a long line of people waiting outside, you’re never stuck waiting long to be seated; the turnaround is impressive. While you’re there, you absolutely have to try the home-made iced tea. It’s super refreshing and way better than the bottled stuff. Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or a casual dinner with friends, it’s easily one of the most reliable places in the city for a good, cheap meal.

Too cold inside of the restaurant as if you are sitting outside. I went with my little kid they showed us the worst table although there are many other empty seats non-reserved. It doesn't worth to endur all the cold. There are great restaurants around.

The food was very tasty, but the staff wasn't very friendly and you weren't given enough time to eat your meal in peace. As soon as the table was empty, they brought in the next customers and wanted to practically get us out the door.

They have delicious food of good quality. On top of that, it is very nice to sit in the restaurant as well as to pick up your order. I have had many good experiences and love visiting!

I had a terrible experience on 26.03.26. I ordered a chicken pokebowl and there was a hair in it. I approached the wait staff immediately, and they didn't even apologize, but went on the defensive right away and felt I had to provide extra proof that this hair got in during the preparation of the meal, and not just after it had already reached the table. I wear a headscarf myself, so it is highly unlikely that this hair came from me. I find the reaction absurd, and naturally, my appetite was gone immediately. In the future, I would definitely avoid this place.

Ordering via mobile phone resulted in fast service. They offer a wide variety of vegetarian dishes; the ramen and bibimbap are quite good. 🌱🍜

The best part is having asian food with halal meat. So you can treat anyone no matter of their religion practice is.

Rude waiter, aggressive and racist when paying, shouted for payment because my card wouldn't work. When we left, no thank you or goodbye. Even rolled his eyes. Rude little kid with brown hair and a beard. NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN!!!

The sushi was the highlight, but everything else was also very good. It was truly delicious, and we would definitely come back. We sat on the terrace, which was very pleasant. Everything works very simply via a QR code: you order through it and can also pay directly with your mobile phone.

Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing evening. It was my first time eating here, but it will definitely be my last. I chose the hot stone plate salmon; in short: a dry piece of salmon with tasteless zucchini and 4 small, tasteless mushrooms, with a teaspoon of sauce poured over the salmon. And that’s what you pay €22.95 for a dry, tasteless dish. I really don't understand the hype surrounding Dadawan; it truly isn't worth the effort. Save yourself the time and money and go eat around the corner at Mo-Jo, where you can eat well and have a wide variety of options.

First you walk in and there’s a long line of people next to a tank of depressed lobsters. My food wasn’t gross, but it was SO plain… absolutely no flavor. No seasoning. Not even salt — not even on the fries. “Chicken with teriyaki” apparently means three sad little dollops of sauce. I asked for salt and more sauce. It took about 10 minutes to receive it, and then they charged €2 for it. My plate cost €21 and I don't even think the skewers were proper quality chicken. It felt almost mushy, like minced processed chicken. The best part? You order through your phone and there's a robot server doing half the work — and before you leave, there’s a tip box. Be so for real.

Delicious food, a lot and different options, service positive

Never disappoints! Quality food reasonable price. Perfect for the one that looks for price/quality. They have a huge space but it is always crowded. They do not accept reservation so you need to wait. You may see a huge queue but it does not take much time. Stone bowl is what I would recommend. Kind of Asian cuisine but you can certainly find something that you like. Surprisingly, quality of their ice tea went down, it has arrived room temperature.

I've been here many times. This one time right of the bat, the server didn't really seemed happy that we wanted to choose the table. The greeting wasn't pleasant at all and usually is. Two other servers were very nice at the end though. Other issue was that the food served was very tasty, but on the pics is clear that the amount of coleslaw and ginger is kinda disappointing. Iced tea is too sweat and not iced at all. Will continue going, because the food tastes good, but these issues (which I think impact the experience) should be addressed in some way. Thank you.

You have so many choices! If you're into healthy food, you've come to the right place! And it's also incredibly delicious, which you can tell by the crowds. Definitely worth a try!

The food is delicious and of high quality, but today there was a woman working there who didn't speak Dutch, very unsociable and rude. Whenever we tried to ask a question, we got a super grumpy look and no normal answer; we were immediately cut off. At one point, we wondered if this was normal, and we only got nasty looks when she walked by. This woman was wearing two ponytails. Dadawan, your food is great, but do something about your staff. Everything else is great. Perhaps there's a big area for improvement, because we'll be going to a different Dadawan from now on.

We had a wonderful time here with the family! We come here regularly, and the food is delicious. Today we accidentally forgot to order a hamburger for our daughter. Someone immediately came over and asked what they could do for us. Within minutes, the hamburger was on the table for our daughter. The food is served quickly, and it's simply excellent! You shouldn't go there for a long, cozy meal with your loved one. But after a day in town, or a visit with children who can't sit still for long, it's truly more than perfect!

All three of us had a stone bowl of beef, but it didn't taste like beef and was very tough. We pointed this out to the manager, and they said there's nothing we can do about it and we never complain about it. We asked the manager, and he said we never complain about the same beef, even though he could see the tough pieces lying there. After a lot of effort, we were given a small piece of chicken that had no flavor and had to pick out the beef ourselves. And to top it all off, a few hours later, another friend and I had severe stomach pains that lasted two days.

When I enter, there's no one... oh wait: you have to climb a flight of stairs to get to the restaurant. A friendly woman leads me to a table. I order a lemonade and a stone bowl of chicken satay. The food arrives in a piping hot dish. The chicken is delicious but so tender it falls apart; I'd have preferred a bit more bite.

Chicken that does not look like chicken, it looked pink while being over done, too salty, sauce was sweet. The waitress did not care at all. Horrible experience, never would reccomend this place to anybody. I was not the only one with disgusting food, people at my table had simmilar experiences.

I go to Dadawan often, but not to other locations. This was my first time in Eindhoven. Honestly, it wasn't that good. I had the stone bowl beef, which was okay, but I usually prefer this one. The stone plate rump steak was also lukewarm, not hot. It's a real shame, so I'll probably go to a different location.

An Asian restaurant, centrally located, but in a quiet area, clean, beautiful, modern, with a robot for serving. Fast service, with two waiters and five Asian people in the kitchen. Tasty food. Acceptable prices. Sometimes, when it's crowded, you can wait for a table to be released...

Everything was great except for the awkwardness of paying. For small groups, this isn't a problem, but for larger groups, the inability to split the bill in any way can be problematic.

Busy establishment with a long line. Fast service, good food. The Stone Plate dish, however, was mediocre: the vegetables were marginal: four mushrooms, three pieces of zucchini, and half a red onion, skewered on a plate with a piece of dried salmon on top. A small bowl of fermented cabbage and carrots was served alongside. The fries were thankfully delicious. The Japanese ramen dish was much better!

We regularly go to Maastricht and Kerkrade, which is close to us. The concept is ideal. The food, as usual, is delicious and served with great taste. There's no need for much service; the service is done by a robot. Payment is only made to the staff. The atmosphere is a bit noisy due to the crowds, so that's a minor point, but otherwise everything is clean. This is the same with these kinds of restaurant chains, and you know that beforehand. We'll continue to be fans.
