DayTime in Wijk 28 Centrum

The matcha here isn't good. They shouldn't sell it. When I asked if she could make it stronger, she did, but I think they're using low-quality matcha, because that didn't help.

In a word, fantastic. Here too, you can taste the Indonesian flavors the owners were known for when they ran the highly acclaimed restaurant Didong. Now, it's a lunchroom with a lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, and excellent cuisine. Keep up the good work! We haven't had such a delicious lunch in a long time.

Homemade cakes and Chai latte were delicious!

Been here a few times now. Food well-cared for and tasty. But what strikes me every time is the sour service. No smile and no word too much. The fact that the atmosphere is good is not thanks to the staff, but to the visitors. Too bad, because then I would not like to come back.

Great spot for a relaxing lunch after the Escher Museum. The place is cozy and calm, perfect for taking a break. The salads are super fresh, and the wine pours are generous. Friendly service too.

What a nice place and really unusual good food! Also dishes/flavors that you won't easily find at other lunch places. I had the rendang croquette and my partner the soto ayam. Both dishes tasted very good. We will definitely come back.

Delicious food with excellent service! Shrimp croquettes with lime juice on excellent bread. Helped neatly and quickly. In neighborhood community 2005, almost the most expensive part of The Hague and yet reasonable prices.

How great it was!!! Had a lovely lunch with friends last Wednesday. I took Soto ajam which had a really great taste and was well filled!!! The wife also had their homemade sambal (especially super tasty and not just spicy! My husband had gado gado salad (also very hmmmmm) and the other had oangang chicken sandwich and mackerel sandwich! Highly recommended and we will definitely come back.... Because I already had trouble choosing what to take. So next time, something different 😉 for now enjoy it! Service was also great! And upon entering there is a display cabinet with all kinds of nice little accessories for sale!

We had a friend's baby shower here. We were completely taken care of, had a nice corner to ourselves, and the food and drinks were great.

The food is delicious, but the portions are small. I had some difficulty receiving assistance in English. The restaurant is very cute and well located.

On this beautiful sunny day we went to Prinsjesdag in The Hague with the two schools, group eight from Regenboog and Bonte Pael (Delft). We were allowed to use the toilet here with almost all the children. Our thanks are great!!

L’endroit est chaleureux tout comme l’accueil. Il y règne une douceur de vivre qui n’a d’égal que la douceur des plats qui y sont proposés. Savoureux en plus d’être copieux, ceux-ci nous ont régalés. Voici l’endroit parfait pour déjeuner à 5 min à pied du Maurithuis !! Je le recommande vivement !

We stopped by DayTime for breakfast on our last day in The Hague. The café was very inviting and we felt very comfortable! The service was very nice and accommodating, the breakfast was delicious and overall we really liked the atmosphere! We would come back at any time!

Leuke zaak, gezellig en verzorgd uit, geeft je een beetje nostalgisch gevoel als je hier zit. Wij namen een gado gado wrap, cheesecake, 2 verse jus d’orange, een espresso en een cappuccino. We werden vlot bediend en de medewerkers waren vriendelijk. De espresso was perfect. Goed heet toen die op tafel kwam, met een mooie cremalaag. . Het appeltaartje en het gebak was heerlijk, was lekker, precies zoals het hoort. Extra leuk vonden wij hun non food afdeling met allerlei leuke spulletjes. Er is voldoende keuze en de prijzen passen bij een uitgaansbuurt in hartje Den Haag.

I liked my first visit at DayTime. I enjoyed a nice smoked salmon salad and a brie sandwich with ginger jam! The decoration inside is cosy and beautiful. There are also Indonesian dishes. I hope I will try some of them in the near future. Dank u wel. Thank you!

Parada para um almoço. Delicioso e surpreendente. Atendimento rápido. Comida muito saborosa. Pedi um frango com creme de amendoim picante.

Ein angenehmer Ruhepol - ein wenig wie eine Zeitkapsel fühlt sich das freundlich geführte Café (Preis-Leistung Top) an. Getränke und Speisen sind nicht teuer und ihr Geld mehr als wert, das Ambiente warm, freundlich und entspannend. Definitiv empfehlenswert.

Sehr gutes Lokal für ein nicht so teures Mittagessen! Wir haben für 2 Persz. B. zwei leckere Omelettes mit einem großen Salat mit Lachs und Ei kombiniert. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Zoals de naam doet vermoeden, alleen overdag geopend. Maar dan ook wel een dikke aanrader om naar toe te gaan voor koffie, taart of lunch. Originele kaart en alles is vers en huisgemaakt. Ontspannen sfeer en fantastische bediening!

Service was good, atmosphere was good, food was good, but way over priced. The sandwiches we’re tiny, each literally only had one ingredient and cost on avg 7 euro. Probably wouldn’t go again based on the food.

We had soto, apple tart, and coffee. The soto was pretty authentic and tasted good, apple tart and coffee was normal/okayish. The service was friendly. The atmosphere is really nice, perfect music and it was cozy! The price was reasonable.

The best breakfast and lunch spot in Denneweg in my opinion. The ladies who work here are always so kind and the food is always full of amazing flavour! The chicken salad is out of this world. The cakes? Super fluffy! Well worth the very fair price point too.

Quaint little café with some delicious coffee and cakes. The staff were friendly. We found this place by chance and would visit again.

Puur toeval dat we er terecht kwamen op een natte donderdag in april... Dit was zeker niet de laatste keer, goeie koffie, goed eten, snelle service!! Extra compliment voor de dames van de bediening, Didi TOPPER (maar andere dame deed er ook niet voor onder hoor!!) Groeten van de kersjes ;-)

Prettige zaak qua inrichting, sfeer en bediening. De laatste was vlot, adequaat en vriendelijk. De kaart biedt een leuke niet al te grote variatie aan gerechten. Die met een (deels) Indische of Indonesische herkomst zijn erg lekker; een aanrader.

What a great cafe for lunch! The interior is cosy and the staff are welcoming from when you enter. The coffees are great, try the iced coffee for something different. The scrambled eggs and the ayam pangang merah were both tasty.

Het café ziet er goed en verzorgd uit, geeft je een beetje oud-nederlands gevoel als je hier zit. Wij hebben een taartje, chocolade, en latte besteld. Het werd snel aan de tafel gebracht en het personeel was vriendelijk. Maar de latte was niet heet genoeg, en de schuim was geen echte schuim en niet tot de top gevuld. Het taartje was lekker, zelfgebakken, maar was net te kruimelig om echt van te genieten. De hete chocolade voldeed aan mijn verwachtingen en was top. Het menu is uitgebreid en de prijzen zijn zoals te verwachten.

A very atmospheric lunchroom with lovely wooden furniture and leafy plants. It is an Indonesian based food experience with their homemade rendang kroket. If you have eaten a 'kroket' this dish is about personal preference. It is tasty but it isn't for me. It lacks the texture of a real kroket but that said, it is a tasty dish but uncertain if it worth the money. Lunch and breakfast dishes are between 9 and 12 euros and coffee is between 3 and 5 euro's I personally really like the atmosphere, it is very inviting, especially as a coffee pitstop.
