Delicious salmon and super nice staff!

The tastiest smoked salmon in the Netherlands. Hidden in the city, this is The Hague's best kept secret. The fresh smoked salmon is unique of its kind. You have never eaten it so naturally. No E numbers and other artificial additives, no salt. It is smoked salmon that resembles Sashimi. No other smoked salmon for us than this one. The salmon pasta and salmon salad are also delicious! By the way, it is no longer a restaurant. That was for the owner who was mainly unable to do anything on his own. So pick up only.

What a gem in the Zeeheldenkwartier. Owner Ton Lemmens' personal experience and knowledge of salmon extends far beyond what many visitors could imagine. Absolutely great and it won't get fresher anywhere else! And don't forget the apple pie! :)

Fantastic fish! Stopped by to get some lunch today. The proprietor have me a sample of the spice mix salmon and it was delightful. Perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned. And reasonably priced. He said only takeaway was available today, so I did not dine in. I will definitely be stopping back by to pick up some for my family for dinner next week. I know they will enjoy it as much as I did. And the photo shows only 2 pieces because I forgot to take a photo of the 3 that I purchased. It was only 10€ for the 3 pieces (totaling about 300 g) & a bottle of water. A slice of keto heaven!❤️

Ik heb hier niet eens gegeten, maar wat een ontzettend aardige man. Ik moest bij het Zalmhuis zijn (helaas niet deze!) en navigatie leidde me hierheen. Ontzettend vriendelijk onthaalt door deze man en de goede weg gewezen.

Come here. Broodje zalm for lunch €5 is also a good, casual option

Top echt verstand van zaken een aanrader heerlijk

Na jaren hier en daar gerookte vis te kopen kreeg ik het advies van een vriend dit te proberen. Nu alleen nog dit ! Heerlijke koud-gerookte heilbot, kabeljauw en zalm. Ik eet dit in mijn dieet, heerlijke tussendoortjes, veel beter en lekkerder dan chips of snoep, gezonder en less-guilt gevoel. Wekelijks haal ik vers of ingevroren en ontdooi langzaam in de koelkast. Kwaliteit blijft overheerlijk.

Goed initiatief. Zalm zonder de cellofaan verpakking van de supermarkt. Leuke eenpersoons porties . Helaas geen koffie vanwege corona

Wat een pareltje! Heerlijke zalmgerechten, versgemaakte pasta met groentjes, zelfgebakken appeltaart en alles met een glimlach! Waar vind je dat nog? Het was ontzettend lekker. Een aanrader. We komen gauw weer terug!

War heute dort. Tolle Atmosphäre, leidet leider unter den Corona Sanktionen. Essen echt lecke und für Den Haag günstig. Würde da sofort wieder hingehen. Räuchert selber. Ein Besuch wert!

Heerlijkste zalm die ik ooit heb gegeten. Aanrader: pasta zalm (nogmaals heerlijkste zalmpasta die ik ooit heb gegeten). Top zaak.

Really good food! Family owned, delicious and a super cozy atmosphere

We spent a very pleasant evening at the Zalmhuis thanks to both the warm-hearted owner Ton and his skillfully and lovingly prepared food. For starters, we shared a small salmon quiche which had a light fluffy filling. For the main course we tried both specialties dishes. I really enjoyed the Zalm Papillot with an oregano herb mix, olives, tomatoes and a wine reduction. I also liked the presentation since the dish arrived wrapped in a paper and was unwrapped in front of us. The pasta on the side matched the salmon very well and had an interesting slightly sweet taste. All in all it was a beautiful and well-balanced mix of flavours. For dessert, he recommended the date pie which was very delicious as well and had a nice slighty crunchy texture due to small cookie/crumble pieces. Thank you Ton, we had a great first time at your restaurant!
