De Basis in Breda centrum

We had a toasted sandwich and something to drink. Unfortunately, they had already run out of supplies to bake the cakes the day before, but then we had a delicious toasted sandwich. We sat outside, and they had heating lamps.

Very friendly bartenders, great music, very fun and open atmosphere, with some boardgames to play on the table. There was also a pool table and foosball as well, overall very chill, open and cool place✨

Cosy place (especially upstairs with the sofas) and they offer a wide variety of beverages and hot drinks. The carrot cake they offer is perfect so I really recommend trying it. The owner is lovely and they have a relaxing lounge upstairs if you’re willing to be in a more laid back environment.

The service was excellent. Nice beer served - Paulaner with beer mat included. Pizza comes from the pizzeria opposite - delicious.

We didn't go inside, but the owner and staff were incredibly helpful when my mother-in-law stumbled in front of the door. We'll definitely go back for a meal or a drink and to thank them!

Nice place, where you can enjoy your coffee during the day, but also have a nice drink in the evening and have a nice general time. Young and Old... we are welcome here❤️🙏🏾😎

I was at sirtaki and not at the base. Sirtaki is a really nice restaurant. Been coming here for over 30 years

Just go for a cup of coffee when you are in Breda. Highly recommended. Great guys who run the place too.

I was there during a concert. The staff were wonderful, all while serving everyone in a timely manner. The atmosphere was different if you are downstairs by the bar or upstairs, where it's more of a cottage feel. Can't wait to visit buring the day and try the food.

Nice place to have a drink/lunch/work. Management and the owners think along with you very well. Super cozy and friendly service! Completely at ease. The food was delicious and the New York style amaretto sour is definitely recommended!

MONDAY BASIC DAY!!! Good music, even skateboard lessons and delicious Pilsen. Regular place every Monday and also Thursday cocktail evening!

Fantastisch! Leuke ongedwongen sfeer. Begonnen met koffie/thee en daarna geborreld. Heerlijke dingen op de borrelplank. Eigenaar was heel attent. Hier komen we terug!

Echt goede koffie! En personeel is zo aardig en attent. Leuke aankleding en sfeer. Blijf daar toch altijd langer hangen

Prettige bediening, eigen tempo past prima! Koffie uiteraard goed! Ideaal om even te zitten werken, of natuurlijk op de bank te hangen en een flink stuk cake te eten (aanrader!)

Het cafe is erg gezellig en het is in het centrum. Ik ben daar een paar keer geweest. Cappuccino en espresso zijn wel een beetje zuur, niet echt mijn smaak. Zure koffiebonen vind ik persoonlijk niet lekker. Maar het cafe is wel mooi.

Totally recommend for breakfast! Really enjoyed our coffee, yoghurt bowl and pain au chocolate and the owner was really friendly. Nice space upstairs with couches and comfy chairs. Will go again when we are next in Breda!

Twee sterren vanwege de ligging. Was voorheen een leuke koffie zaak waar tevens een fijne lunch genuttigd kon worden. Bij 't zien van de biermerk parasols buiten kreeg ik al een bepaalde gedachte. Werd later bevestigd door rokende bierdrinkers op het terras en ontbreken van enige bediening. Blijken nieuwe eigenaars in te zitten die duidelijke een andere en helaas niet mijn visie hebben. Zonde.

Erg aardig en behulpzaam personeel, altijd een vriendelijk woord en een grapje en dan schenken ze ook nog erg lekkere koffie in allerlei soorten en maten!

Koffie zoals koffie moet smaken, aan tafel gebracht door super vriendelijk personeel.

Under new ownership, inspire has flourished! Friendly staff, a great new selection of beers and wines to choose from. And/or a great cup of coffee. Add to that the great space for working in and cool future plans. Ill be here if you need me.
