Good staff with 12 people came for a drink and were even allowed to sing a song with the staff. This is a place you should definitely visit if you are in the area.

I've been at this pub in a late summer evening, enjoying the dinner with the view on the beautiful square. Fully satisfied by the selection of beers and the quality of of the food. I've had a vegetarian hamburger very good and big portion. Friendly staff. To be tried if you are in Deventer.

Nice brown cafe. Good atmosphere, ultimate Long Island ice tea that will give you hair on your chest (even as a woman) and nice employees. 100% recommended. Popped in for 1 drink, stayed for hours.

Amazing place with great team that always let you feel welcome. The staff is so friendly and funny. I spent and spending a lot of time at bisschop especially with Pippa that now she been a friend before everything.

What a gigantic bad undertaking this is! Aggressive staff named Leroy who slams doors when there is something in between such as: arms and hands. Then you talk to him about it and start picking a fight. His point of irritation: I don't like the fact that when it was so quiet I had to wait fifteen minutes to pay at the empty bar/cash register. I then ask for his name to file a complaint and I get the answer: “I don't like your behavior.” In addition, 3 shots sell for 18.80, which I find extremely expensive. But I don't know if that is in line with the market. I filed a complaint about Leroy with the security guard because he treats customers this way and is quite aggressive and non-negotiable. Coincidentally, the owner was also there. He wanted to mediate between the two of us and called him outside, which I think was pretty cool. However, when Leroy saw me, he started behaving aggressively and shouting at his boss again. I told them that I have nothing but respect for them, but that I at least expected an apology. This time they both said that they did not like my behavior and I responded: Fine, I am now leaving as a guest at your tent and you have lost me and half of your customers! We treat each other with respect and this company does not have these norms and values. What I also hate is that they also lock the toilet upstairs at the boys' house at night. When I wanted to use it I was searched. When I asked what that was for, it had to do with the fact that they expect their guests to all have hard drugs in their pockets and do not allow them to use them. This company is allowed by the municipality and government if you are a guest there: -mistreat you -pain -lighting up - chase away And pick a fight It's outrageous that they do this! They also ruined my whole evening The Bishop Deventer? Never again! I will also start legal proceedings for abuse if this complaint is not taken seriously! I also filed a declaration on 15-07-2022 I hope to see you in court soon. Thanks again for your aggressive attitude and shouting. Super warm en klef.. er lopen hier en daar best wel vervelende mensen rond.. ze duwen en trekken veel waardoor je weer onder de drank zit.. niet de beste plek in de stad.. maarja zoveel keus heb je niet

Ik lees veel 1 ster reviews vanwege een uit de hand gelopen vrijgezellenfeest (goed gehandeld eigenaren), het opvolgen van coronaregels (goed gehandeld eigenaren) of dat het ‘meer voor twintigers’ is. Soms is een laag aantal sterren een aanbeveling 🤗

De namen van de cocktails weet ik niet meer, maar het was een leuke bezigheid om te doen.

Als de jongeren er niet zijn is het een rustige en prettige plek om te vertoeven met een prachtig uitzicht op de Waag.

Gewoon een top tent. ik heb mij er altijd welkom gevoeld en het is er altijd gezellig. Opeens een hoop jankerts die 1 ster geven omdat de Bisschop zich aan de regels houd. Wordt volwassen of blijf lekker thuis.

Ik woon zelf in Utrecht maar ben toch regelmatig in de Bisschop te vinden. Niet zonder reden want dit is de leukste kroeg van Nederland met het gezelligste personeel ❤️

Wauw! Wat top tent! Ontvangst was zeer gastvrij en wat een enthousiasme, een bar die opgebouwd is door een ondernemer die zich geweldig staande heeft gehouden tijdens de lock-down door het organiseren van een online disco bingo via Zoom. Ik hoop dat hij dit er zeker nog naast blijft doen.

Top kroeg, Top personeel, alles erop en eraan. Beste sfeer van deventer. En vooral niet dichtblijven omdat rubbere robbie nijhof of andere wappies je uitmaken voor genocidebar. De wappies hebben verloren. We mogen weer los!

Top service! Met een gezellige en gastvrije bediening. Je kunt er gezellig borrelen en de stapavonden zijn super gezellig!

Leuk terras en vriendelijk personeel. Genoeg reden om hier eventjes te chillen bij een middagje shoppen/ rondlopen in Deventer. Would recommend.

Gisteren zijn we hier beland op zoek naar een café waar we Formule 1 konden kijken. We waren blij verrast toen jullie medewerkster het voor ons op wilde zetten. Lekker groot scherm. Ondertussen goed gezelschap want de medewerkster was erg lief, spontaan en sociaal. Echt een aanrader voor het kijken van sport maar ook een super leuk, klein kroegje voor 's avonds.

Mooie plek voor een borrel of feestje. Personeel was erg behulpzaam en er hing een fijne sfeer, zou het zeker aanraden!

Leuk en aardig personeel, goede kaart en een erg leuke plek om te zitten! Je kan er overdag lekker zitten en 's nachts gezellig uitgaan!
