Had a very nice meal here with 2 people. The spareribs were the tastiest to our taste! Your side dishes are not included in the price and with your food. 2 small negative points: - we thought waiting an hour for the food was a long time - the amount of chicken satay is not in proportion to the price and the other products on the menu.

What a cozy place. Service is great, well attuned to each other. Delicious food.

Last Sunday we had a lovely meal here with the two of us. They have something for everyone and they listen to your wishes! With the coffee we got a small glass of liqueur with whipped cream. I was not allowed to have alcohol because of pregnancy and they solved this very well by giving me a small glass of caramel syrup with whipped cream. I thought this was very sweet and attentive. Service was also great! We will definitely eat here again when we are in the area again!

Delicious food in a cozy atmosphere

What a nice & cozy restaurant! The farmer theme is worked out in detail: enough sights in and around the restaurant. The staff is genuinely warm & friendly, and provides excellent service. And not to forget: the food is a true taste sensation. In short, we enjoyed it and will definitely come back again.

You will be in a wonderfully warm brocante atmosphere where a top team will serve you fantastically tasty food a la carte.

Food was fine and nicely served, shame about the chocolate ice cream (not a fan) and especially the banana ice cream (yuck!) with the grand dessert, a scoop of vanilla ice cream would have really made a difference. Thought the price was a bit on the high side. Staff was a bit too friendly, but nearby and very helpful. The barn with all kinds of themed trinkets was really nice, we sat on one side and even when you looked out of the window (side garden) the theme was continued, really nicely done.

We ate here today and it is highly recommended! Friendly staff and delicious food!

What a super nice and cozy restaurant. The staff is very friendly. And the choice of food and drinks is very varied. We chose the servants menu, so nice that the starter is served in a wheelbarrow. And the compliments to the chef, the meat was so tender never before was it so tasty anywhere else. The potatoes with bacon and onion and the dessert it was great! We can no longer come to the Veluwe without coming to dine with you.

The service was excellent: attentive, professional, yet personal. It immediately made us feel warm and welcome. The dishes were beautifully presented and the portion size was perfect—enough to enjoy without feeling like anything was missing. Every dish was fresh and full of flavor, clearly prepared with care and skill. In addition to the delicious food and attentive service, the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was very pleasant. The decor exudes coziness, which added to the festive atmosphere of our evening. We can highly recommend De Boerenschuur and will definitely return here again in the future. An absolute must for anyone looking for a fantastic culinary experience!

Na de teleurstelling op 4 mei dat het helemaal vol zat. ( niet gereserveerd) vandaag super lekker gegeten bij dit leuk ingerichte restaurant. Bediening super vriendelijk. Eten was top. Zelfs de spare rips. Vlees viel zowat van het bot. Helaas te ver om nog eens te komen eten.

The four of us enjoyed the servant board! Wonderfully tender and tasty and more than enough! The service was top notch and the atmosphere was relaxed and cozy.

Had dinner here with a friend on Saturday night. Despite it being full, the food was quick, the service was friendly and personal. Nice atmosphere, nicely decorated according to theme. The food was fine. Nice that you can decide for yourself which side dishes you want. So whether you want fries, potatoes or just a salad, it's all possible. Really recommended!

I think there are always areas for improvement, but after thinking very hard I can't think of one. The food was delicious and plentiful, the atmosphere was cozy and the service friendly. The reservation was until 8:00 PM, but before we knew it it was 10:00 PM. I didn't know if we had to leave or if we could order something, so apologies if this wasn't the intention.

I had spare ribs on the recommendation of friends. It was really super tender. Meat fell off the bone very easily. Super. Could have used a little more sweet sauce. My wife had the pork tenderloin with brie and bacon. Also very good. For those who want to taste, don't forget to book in time otherwise you will come for nothing ;-)

The restaurant is a trip down to memory lane, great old-fashioned decor that takes you back to the atmosphere of the past. We ordered the farmer's menu for 4 people, the food was delicious, enough variety. The spare ribs in particular are highly recommended, they simply fall off the bone, so wonderfully tender. We will definitely go again! Smooth service and friendly staff.

Delicious food! I had the stuffed pork tenderloin. Very tasty. The potatoes with bacon and onion were also very tasty, although a bit salty. It's just not cheap, my pork tenderloin was €27 and that doesn't even include fries or anything, so you have to order extra. I can imagine why people might not go because of this. Still, I thought it was worth it!

We have now eaten at the Boerenschuur for the 4th time, the food is really delicious, we had the "knechten plank" super tasty and the service is super friendly, the dessert is simply fantastic. I really think the cheesecake is the tastiest 😊. We would love to come again when we are in the area.
