Came here on Kings Day (admittedly not the best time to try a new pub). Great beer selection in a nice little old-school pub setting. Friendly service. New to town, and I think I found my new place.

This is now a cafe as it should be. Delicious. The weather was too bad to sit on the terrace, so we went inside. Lovely pot-bellied stove to warm up, to my taste all kinds of nice things to look at on and on the wall. Fast and nice service. Many types of beer on tap and in bottles. Could be my favorite café, but I live too far away from there. Recommended.

It is often said that help the catering industry. Spotted cow is doing well, good meals. A delicious goulash with rice. And for the children a schnitzel with fries. Good meat, large portions and a delicious taste. Koert Kinkhorst

There will be more than 20 years to come! Only praise for the previous owner, but certainly for the current one. Great beers on tap (and many on tap), whiskeys, etc. Great events and steady and friendly service. All this in a wonderful atmosphere (feeling at home) and it is complete. It couldn't be better! So we continue to enjoy with Huub and Linda and the team at De Bontekoe.... 🍻🥃 Cheers...to lots of fun! And keep enjoying 👍👊

It's a beer cafe so the food is fine but it's not a restaurant. If you like beer and/or whiskey, you've come to the right place. Lovely people in the service. Hundreds of beers and whiskeys, so if you pay attention, I can put the Koemarkt Purmerend in your navigation and then enjoy.

Delicious stew, burger, satay, but also carpaccio and fish salad, steak with bread and gravy. Etc. Nice beers, wine, coffee. Too many to mention. The terrace is nice to sit on, the afternoon sun also shines there.

Het was er eens weer tijd voor, (geen zin om te koken) dus op naar de Bonte Koe voor het lekkerste biefstukje van de Koemarkt. Wat is dit toch elke keer een feestje, hiervoor hoef je echt niet naar een duur restaurant of naar Loetje!! Gewoonweg heerlijk, ga hem daar maar proeven!!! Eet smakelijk!

We were a bit surprised that they make reservations on the tarmac during the day. We find this very strange. 3 x 2 person tables reserved. We just left.

Very friendly and funny staff. Ordered the nachos and shrimp. The shrimps were very tasty, we had one too few but still got one extra. In addition, the nachos only had on The cheese on top and the bottom was all broken. Beer was tasty and everything else was very nice!

Picked up roti chicken and Surinamese nasi today. Mi gado 'hope I wrote it right', which was nicely prepared by really recommending this lady called Linda. Drive to Amsterdam for roti neehoor de Bonte koe located at the cow market or Emma wormerplein both in Purmerend. Check the menus of the colorful cow and also try the apple pie 'my god 'I wrote that correctly'😀

Iedere 1e vrijdag van de maand met onze vriendenclub naar De Bonte Koe. Vaak verrassend lekkere speciaalbiertjes. Bediening supergoed en vriendelijk.

Veel keuze in bier, 21 verschillende op de tap en nog veel meer in de fles. Leuk en gezellig. Bediening aardig. Wat bitterballen besteld dit duurde wel wat lang.

A fun evening with work at the Bonte Koe. But that turned out to be a disappointment. The bill included other people's drinks. It's a shame that the staff didn't realize that other people were also adding their drinks to our bill.
