An incredible place. The bartenders were incredibly attentive, constantly helping us with our alcoholic beverages and even giving us a discount 😜. In short, highly recommended for a night out! They were also really funny, just like us 😜. The pitchers were ridiculously cheap (25 euros per pitcher, rumor has it there's even gold in them). The ladies (and gentleman) behind the bar found this so funny they couldn't stop laughing 🙃.

We went out last night for drinks. We were harassed by a guy who wouldn't leave us alone and started filming us. I told the staff, who immediately called a security guard. Very nice!

Gekkenhuis daar, met onder andere bartje de barman. Hij is een gekke sfeermaker, zoals hem zal je niemand tegengekomen. En je kan lekker draaien aan het radje!

Ginnekenweg 338We didn't eat here, but we did have a party. A colleague was celebrating her 50th anniversary here. I thought it was perfect. Oncle Jean is divided into compartments that can be flexibly configured. The party space wasn't overly large, I think it could accommodate a maximum of 100 people, but it had a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Complete with a bar, so what more could you ask for? There was also a DJ at the party with his set and speakers, which made it perfect. In short... If you have a party where some standing tables, a bar, and especially a dance floor are essential, then Oncle Jean is the place to be.

Ginnekenmarkt 17It's always great to have a spontaneous drink and snack here (with the kids). It's also nice that Moeke's is perfectly fine for children. The coloring page with the apple juice (and pancakes) really completes the experience; we'll be back often.
