We had a delicious meal with a very wide selection on the menu. The staff is very friendly, especially the sweet four-legged friend! There's a cozy, warm atmosphere.

De Brielse Aap is a true gem in Brielle. It's situated in a beautiful location on a small island just outside the city center, so you're surrounded by lovely greenery. The venue itself is also very atmospheric. The food is also delicious and everything is a little different from what I'm used to. However, they aren't always flexible with changes to the menu. If you prefer real croquettes with one dish of Veggie Croquettes, that's not possible, even though they also have regular croquettes on the menu, but with a different dish. Other than that, it's a really nice place. When it's busy, it can get a bit noisy inside.

Excellent service with drinks and recommendations. Even if something goes wrong, they resolve it very correctly and respectfully.

What a lovely place! Everything is so atmospheric, well-maintained, and cozy. Spacious yet cozy and inviting. Plenty of seating. The service is very cheerful and attentive. Tea comes in loose-leaf tins. Delicious flavors. A delicious homemade cookie accompanies the tea – delicious! The menu is varied and offers plenty of choices. We went for the sashimi wrap and Moroccan couscous salad. We thoroughly enjoyed it! Everything was perfect down to the last detail, including the tableware with the monkeys. The portions were generous, more than enough, even. The price-quality ratio is excellent. We will definitely be back! Highly recommended!

I was there on a company outing, and the atmosphere was fantastic. There were all sorts of lovely corners to sit in, the decor was very cozy, and if you have a record player, you can buy LPs there too! The food was truly delicious, highly recommended! I don't know the price per person because it was paid for by the company I work for, but you definitely get your money's worth!

A stunning venue with a beautifully decorated interior in a vintage style, featuring designer pieces, unique colors, and furniture, and an outdoor space perfect for parties, corporate events, or ceremonies. Excellent food and unique cocktails. The staff is friendly and helpful. The entrance is reached via a charming little bridge.

We had lunch here today and, because of the positive experience, I thought I'd post a review right away. Delicious food, great atmosphere and surroundings, and very friendly and attentive service. The latter is something a lot of places lack these days, but De Brielsche Aap makes up for it! My comment about a minor issue with the food was also taken seriously but with humor! It was a successful lunch, and I'm hungry for more!

We were greeted by a barking and growling dog belonging to the restaurant. Not the welcome you'd hope for. The chicken satay tasted like it had been cooked in a pan with butter. After eating, we waited half an hour. We actually wanted to order another cup of coffee, but in the end, we just went inside to pay.

I was here for a private birthday party. Everything was very well taken care of. Friendly staff. Clean restrooms. Parking nearby.

4 stars for the atmosphere and beautiful location. After a walk in Brielle, we thought it would be nice to finish off with a drink here. Both the interior and exterior look fantastic, and we were able to sit outside (Saturday, August 16th). A woman politely told us we'd be helped shortly. A girl with long blond hair came to our table, sighing, to ask what we wanted. Very rude and inappropriate. She also brought the drinks with a few deep sighs. I received the wrong drink, and then it was completely too tiring for her. It's a shame and absolutely unnecessary; you shouldn't work in the hospitality industry if you do. However, I still really like the location and hope we were just unlucky with her.

Last Sunday, I celebrated my birthday with my (54) invited guests at this beautiful location. Kudos to the staff for the excellent service, and afterward, we enjoyed a delicious dinner with a small family group.

The food is delicious but (too) expensive, and the portions aren't very large. Six bitterballen (meatballs) for €9.50. Lunch: €45 per person. Quite noisy inside, although it's not very busy. Lovely garden outside.

Well, we sat on the terrace for almost 20 minutes, regularly alerting the staff, but still no order taken. So we left and went to a competitor. After a minute, we got a message saying, "I'll be with you shortly." Ordered less than 5 minutes later, and a cold beer arrived 3 minutes later. That's how it should be. I think De Aap is a beautiful location, and the quality of what you get is good (a bit pricey, but okay). The service really needs to improve/be more efficient, as this wasn't the first time it took so long. Such a shame.

The starter and main course tasted delicious. However, there was a 45-minute wait between the starter and the main course, even though people who arrived later were served their meals earlier. The fact that a bottle of table water and a pair of fries we ordered were forgotten, forcing us to ask for them again, didn't give the impression of a professional, well-coordinated team.

Nice location, fast and friendly staff. Children's menu taken because the dishes together contain food that I do not eat, too bad. An uitsmijter would be a nice addition to the menu.

Always that enormous noise music, which the whole fortress has to enjoy. If the wind is blowing towards the fortress, you often can't hear the television anymore. There really shouldn't be a permit for this anymore.

Let me tell you, this is the best menu of this restaurant. I ate it. The meat is tender, the sauce is delicious. You have to try it. I guarantee you won't be disappointed ^^

Wat een leuke plek in Brielle. Zo vaak langs gelopen maar nu eindelijk een keer naar binnen. Leuk terras maar ook binnen heel leuk ingericht. Alleen koffie op maar we gaan zeker een keer eten.

Nice opportunity. Outing via Maasdelta for residents committees. Food was good, only the music was very loud. You could hardly hear each other.

Had lunch with 9 people, there is too little service which makes everything take a bit too long. The food looked good but was almost cold when it was served. The coffee was also lukewarm. Too bad.

I was recently in the Brielse aap to eat there on the way. It looked very nice, but it soon ended much less well. We had to wait half an hour to order food and finally with a lot of help we were able to order. Then we had to wait a long time for the food. Very long. We had to wait about 45 minutes. The food was ultimately very tasty, but the experience at the Brielse aap was really less. I wouldn't go back again.

Fijne tafel aan het raam om bij te praten met vrienden. Relaxte bediening. Met zijn vieren Monkey plate gegeten. Was ruim voldoende en lekker gevarieerd. Heerlijke aardappelsoep. Salade vegan zo zo. Mooie ruime lokatie en bij mooi weer heerlijk buiten zitten. Parkeergelegenheid voor de deur.

Excellent lunch, excellent service, fair price, nice location. Monkey plate is a great lunch. One of our guests was vegetarian, no problem. Looked good, taste was great. Great value for money.

Eerder gegeten op deze locatie en daarom aanbevolen aan het gezelschap om daar te gaan eten. We hadden oesters en een broodplank, 6 voorgerechten en het hoofdgerecht besteld. De oesters, de broodplank en alle voorgerechten kwamen helaas tegelijkertijd en daar hadden we ruim 1 uur op moeten wachten. Daarna bleven de lege borden een uur op de tafel zonder te worden afgeruimd. Uiteindelijk werden de hoofdgerechten bijna 5 kwartier na de voorgerechten geserveerd. Het eten was van redelijke kwaliteit echter het stoofvlees gerecht was zwaar onvoldoende. Het was slecht gesneden aan elkaar hangende bonken taai vlees. Na een opmerking hierover werd het bord meegenomen en teruggebracht met half de hoeveelheid in kleine stukken gesneden en nog steeds taai vlees. Uiteindelijk is dit gerecht niet opgegeten en wel van de rekening afgehaald. De bediening was in aantal ruim aanwezig maar was aan de tafel onvoldoende in de serviceverlening. Jammer van de avond.

We came on an evening when there was also bingo and that started during dessert. A really big party, music, fun. We still danced. Before that started, we were informed about it and we started eating on time. Nicely laid out plates, tasty food. There was also a house dog running loose, we love that. But maybe not everyone. Says something about the atmosphere. We felt at home, staff had fun too, it was clear to see. We would love to come back again. As far as I'm concerned, there could be a little more choice in desserts, but we said what we wanted and got it with lots of whipped cream!

Ambiance and atmosphere relaxed and service fast and friendly. Our table companion had the marinated salmon and tuna with avocado on flatbread and it was excellent, we ordered the monkey sandwich ourselves on recommendation and according to our hostess it was one of the classics on the menu. marinated chicken thighs with bacon on flatbread and cucumber ribbons and lettuce, unfortunately the taste was flat, chicken thighs unfortunately very dry and a small slice of very dry bacon, disappointing, a pity... portions are more than sufficient, especially for the price... still definitely recommended...

We hebben hier op een zondagmiddag prima geluncht. Het hele restaurant zat vol, dus de bediening had het druk, maar omdat we een “bijpraatlunch” hadden was het geen probleem om hier van 13.30 tot 16 uur te zijn. Mooie menukaart, ook voldoende keus voor vegetariërs. Groot parkeerterrein. Mooi start- of eindpunt bij een rondwandeling door en om het pittoreske Brielle.

Excellent service … great drinks … good food. Very nice atmosphere- highly recommend it. The manager knows the history in Brielle and can tell you about the most famous locations.

Had dinner here for my birthday today, the atmosphere of the restaurant is great! There was a vintage market and a DJ. It was therefore very busy and the service had its hands full. The food came fairly quickly and was tasty. We enjoyed it with our club and I will definitely come back again!!!

For my grandmother's 100th birthday, we celebrated a party with family at the Brielsche Aap. It was fantastic! The food was delicious and the service fantastic. Kris was our regular waiter and he made it a real treat.

A very relaxed and trendy tent in a beautiful location. Service very friendly, and the quality of the kitchen is at a high level. Very tasty dishes and their presentation is top notch. Gluten free was absolutely no problem.

For a special LP you have to go to the Platenaap.

Enjoy lunch on the spacious and cozy terrace in the late October sun. The terrace is well filled but there is no shortage of smooth service. I went for the brioche Philly cheese steak. Different from the original. Brioche bun fine. The steak was cut too thick but excellent served medium. The cheese a bit too firm but tasty. Compared to the other dishes of my table companions, the quantity of the sandwich was substandard. For €17.50 you expect a little more exuberance. Cutting the ribeye more finely can contribute to this. All in all a reasonable lunch and worth repeating

Samen gedineerd bij de Brielsche Aap. Voor een vrijdagavond was het erg stil. De kaart was weinig spannend en beperkt. De tonijn was vers en smakelijk. Jammer was er weinig bij, zeker geen rijst. Je wordt haast gedwongen apart friet er bij te bestellen. Overigens was deze friet wel lekker. De wijnen waren prima. Veel bediening en attent. Ik ben het wel eens met andere beoordelingen dat aanpak Brielsche Aap achteruit is gegaan ten opzichte van voorheen.

Maybe fun in the summer, but it is certainly not recommended in bad weather.

A simple lunch for an expensive price..!!.. Sourdough bread with carpaccio and pouled pork sandwich.... glass of white wine and cup of mint tea.... for just under € 40.00.... These are really prices that too crazy for words....but that's actually everywhere now....Unfortunately..!!

In jaren niet zo slecht en vies gegeten als hier met op het einde een zeer onprofessionele en slechte reactie van de manager of kok, geen idee wie hij was? Een ribeye die gewoonweg stonk. Eerste hap heb ik direct uitgespuugd, vlees was gewoon verrot. Toen ik dit aangaf werd gevraagd of ik een nieuwe wilde, dat heb ik niet gedaan, mijn trek en vertrouwen in een malse verse ribeye was volledig verdwenen. Er werd nauwelijks aandacht besteed of excuus gemaakt. De carpaccio die ik vervolgens kreeg, had een kleuter nog kunnen maken. Wat een creativiteit maar niet heus. Parmezaanse kaas uit een zakje en drie blaadjes rucola. Ik was blij dat ik de saus apart had laten serveren en hetzelfde wat op smaak kon brengen met wat Citroen en olijfolie. De tonijnsteaks van mijn vriendinnen waren ook niet om naar huis te schrijven. Bijna nog rauw terwijl er medium-well done was gevraagd. Bij het afrekenen werd trots gezegd dat ze de ribeye van de rekening hadden afgehaald😳, dat had er nog moeten bijkomen???? Het meisje wat met ons moest afrekenen heeft echt haar best gedaan om nog iets van de rekening af te krijgen want daar was geen initiatief voor geweest als excuus voor het verrotte stuk vlees. Zelfs niet een drankje!! Sterker nog: er stond een fles water op de rekening die er niet op hoorde te staan. De manager of kok kwam zelf uiteindelijk aan tafel om mede te delen dat het vlees gewoon goed was, hij had het zelf nog geproefd!!!! Ik hoop dat hij daar goed van aan de race is gegaan. En dus kon hij verder niets met de veel te hoge rekening doen. We hebben netjes afgerekend en hebben de tent verlaten. Het was een gezellige avond door het goeie gezelschap maar het eten was echt heel slecht en de prijzen belachelijk hoog voor de kwaliteit! De kok moet echt ff z’n opleiding afmaken of opnieuw doen. Over de manager maar niet te spreken. Die man heeft het echt niet begrepen hoe het werkt. Voor ons iig nooit meer naar de Brielsche Aap……….

The worst services for a "RESTAURANT" ordered and forgot to send the order to the bar after half hour of waiting had to order again,order came wrong, when i asked what takes them so long they said sorry we are were busy, even that I heard them talking how they forget about the order, ordered ceasar salad with chicken came with shrimps , ordered one more beer they forgot again, ordered cofeebat the end it came after 15min and cold...what's the diference between this and a shaworma place? Better quality at shaworma/kebab stores 👍

mijn slechtste lunchervaring ever! Ging zakelijk lunchen om iemand 'te belonen'. We werden niet echt vriendelijk en vooral ongeïnteresseerd geholpen waar we ook echt na lang wachten om moesten vragen. Na het bestellen waarbij we nog aangaven beperkt tijd te hebben omdat we onder werk waren duurde het zeker een half uur voordat de drankjes kregen. Het eten liet ook op zich wachten tot de bediening erop terug kwam omdat ze ineens bedacht waarschijnlijk iets verkeerds te hebben besteld. Dat was ook zo. Opnieuw besteld en weer gevraagd of het niet te lang zou duren vanwege werk. Ook werd er snauwerig gereageerd op een inhoudelijke vraag over het eten. Precies een uur en een kwartier nadat we binnen waren gekomen werd de lunch geserveerd die we daarom letterlijk naar binnen moesten schrokken. Wat een teleurstelling. Overigens was het (jonge) meisje wat afrekende wel vriendelijk en beleefd. Maar voor ons nooit meer prive of zakelijk naar de Brielse Aap
