After sitting at a table for 20 minutes, no one came by to bring a menu or ask if we wanted a drink. She kept walking past and simply ignored us. We finally grabbed our things. It's a shame it's always the same waitress who acts this way.

I've had lunch here before, but yesterday was an all-time low. We sat inside. Our order still hadn't arrived after waiting for 45 minutes; no staff were keeping an eye on us. I went to ask myself and saw our order sitting under the lights (read: rotting). It had clearly been there for a while, because my toasted sandwich was completely dried out (you could even say cremated) and the salad was limp. No apology was forthcoming. Young, inexperienced staff who, with one exception, have no idea of ​​service or (customer) friendliness. It's a shame, because the restaurant has ambiance, but the atmosphere depends on the way you're welcomed and treated.

Another delicious meal from the new menu. Generous portions and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

This was our first time at De Buren. We had lunch there, which was great. All the dishes we tried were delicious, especially the homemade tomato soup. The wrap, omelet, and toasted sandwich are also recommended. One tip: put all the drinks on the menu, including the juices.

Right on the square where the weekly market is and right next to the town hall. So from the terrace there is always something to see and do. Friendly staff. Lunch dishes are friendly priced and the service is quick and good.

Excellent food for a great price

Beautiful restaurant with large conservatory and large terrace. We were served kindly.

We just waited on the terrace for 20 minutes until we were helped. Saw a lady from the service twice during that period. Both times this lady walked right past us. There were three other tables on the terrace at the time, so it couldn't have been because of the crowds. After this we left without anything to do to enjoy our lunch on the other side.

We had dinner here. The starter was fish trio salmon, eel and trout, but instead of eel there was canned tuna. A bit of a shame. Other than that it was tasty, but nothing to write home about. The terrace is nice and you are in a good place

On February 24, I made reservations for about 35 people. The restaurant employees are very friendly and patient with people. The restaurant also looks very cozy and attractive. They have a beautiful terrace. Awesome.

The floors were not clean at all, the staff charged whatever they wanted, the price did not match what was on the site at all and when I started talking about it she said they were old prices. But nowhere was there a card with the supposedly good prices. SO NOT RECOMMENDED

You are treated antisocially here, you can get a big mouth (thanks to Trudi). Items that you did NOT order will be credited to your account. Very poorly cooked weak fries are served, if you say anything about it it will not be appreciated and you are a whiner. I returned a bowl of fries and also a plate of fries for my 6-year-old daughter because the fries were limp and poorly cooked. A few minutes later, one bowl of fries returned to the table. So I asked where are my daughter's fries? Because she had also handed them in on her own plate. A few minutes later we received another bowl of fries on the table...... with a comment from Trudi "that one 1st bowl is all you gave back, because we threw everything together and fried it again." So apparently it was all thrown together, baked again and served back on the table in one container (yum). Well, that's not how this should be done in the catering industry, is it? The second container was also added to the bill because we would have ordered these, which is simply not true. We only asked where my daughter's fries were. So we got words about that at the cash register. We had to pay for that too... My mother was also portrayed as as someone who always has something to complain about. That really rubbed me the wrong way, what is that person thinking? Perhaps this catering establishment should do something about the service and quality level of its staff! Because that is really true something not. Do you want this kind of staff in your business? I will never come here again and my mother (who often comes with groups) will no longer go here either. That's not how you treat customers. I've been to plenty of restaurants and nowhere have I been spoken to as rudely as I have been here. My mother called the owner and she didn't get a decent word out of it, his staff has been working in the catering industry for years and there was nothing wrong with that. At the very least he could have apologized...but if you can't even do that, then this review is also about it. Good luck with your store…..I will go to the restaurant of the (across) Neighbors from now on.

Their menu apparently appeals to a lot of people, luckily for them. My preference is mainly for Asian, Southern European and South American food. Understand that fantastic full occupancy if you like Dutch food. Good luck!

Straightforward yet delicious Dutch cuisine. I joined a friend for lunch, and he ordered Dutch sandwiches and fried snacks, accompanied by a couple of beers. The service was amiable, though a bit more promptness would have been appreciated. The food itself was flavorful, and we particularly enjoyed the outdoor seating, which allowed us to fully soak up the sun.

Prima plek midden in het centrum van Bodegraven om wat te eten en te drinken. Op het moment dat wij er waren enorm druk door een jazz concertje wat er voor zorgde dat er soms wel erg lang gewacht moest worden op een bestelling. Maar het personeel deed hun best en excuseerde zich voor de lange wachttijd en dat maakt het altijd weer een beetje goed.

Heerlijk genieten zowel binnen als buiten en je word niet weggekeken als je best wel lang zit en af en toe iets besteld. Zijn dan ook niet opdringerig om heel erg vaak naar je tafeltje te komen. Als ik een afspraak heb ga ik hier heen.

Erg goede bediening, vrolijk, gezellig, attend. Zouden wel meer bieren van Brouwerij de Molen op de kaart mogen hebben staan!

We gingen hier met de familie (9 personen) lunchen op een moment dat het vrij rustig was (meer tafels vrij dan bezet). Het eten was prima, maar de bediening helaas erg traag. Toen ik wees op iets zwarts dat in mijn jus d'orange dreef viste de serveerster dat er met mijn mes uit, bekeek het, en concludeerde toen dat er niets aan de hand was. We stonden helemaal met onze mond vol tanden toen zij ons later vroeg of wij "op onze plek wilden blijven zitten" omdat zij "last van ons had"...

We gaan er regelmatig lunchen, alle lunch gerechten aan te raden. Ook gaan we er samen wel eens dineren, ook dat is aan te raden. Zeer gezellig en vriendelijk personeel en ook snelle bediening.

Superbiefstuk van Rietveld, perfect gebakken!

Onverwachts hier terecht gekomen. Was niet heel druk, dus was even afwachten hoe of wat. Uiteindelijk waren wij alle 4 enorm verbaasd dat het hier zo leeg was, want het eten was onwijs lekker!!! De prijzen zijn uitstekend en ze doen hier niet zuinig met de extraatjes die ze je bij het eten geven. Denk bijboorbeeld aan een mega stuk appeltaart als dessert met een flinke toef slagroom en een soort vanillevlaatje. Of een cocktail waar een scheutje alcohol extra in zat hahaha! Wij gaan hier zeker vaker komen. Zeer tevreden en voldaan de deur uit gestapt!

Altijd erg goed in alles een van mijn favoriete!
