De Frietzaak Kampen in Wijk 00 Kampen

Time for a snack again. After a long walk, we did so at De Frietzaak Kampen. If it’s meant to be, it’s possible here. Many tasty snacks and enthusiastic staff.

The satay sauce was not tasty. Disappointing.

We visited Kampen today and took lots of photos. Eventually, we got a little hungry! So what do you do when you're German in the Netherlands? You find a chip shop for some delicious fries with special sauce and a frikandel with special sauce, and then... smack! That's exactly what we did. We stopped by De Frietzaak and ordered a variety of things with fries! Really delicious. We were panicking beforehand in downtown Kampen, we just couldn't find a chip shop. Luckily, we managed in the end, and we didn't starve! 😂 We also took some nice photos in Kampen; it was a great day!

Incredibly tasty fries, peanut sauce, and snacks. You can really taste the potato :) very well. Highly recommended. It is also very clean and they are super friendly. The price is a bit higher, but as far as I'm concerned, it's totally worth it.

The fries have been really soggy lately !!

The fries were absolutely undercooked, so not a success! The other snacks, including the meatballs, croquette sandwiches, cheese soufflé, and bami disc, were okay.

Worst fries ever, fried rock hard and all small pieces/leftovers, threw everything away, never going there again 👎

I ordered a special hamburger! I got a fried hamburger with a little sauce. A tip for them: prepare a hamburger on a baking sheet and put what's in the picture on it. I'll definitely go back to Frietzaak!

What a terrible place. I ordered a special hamburger based on the photo. The picture showed a hamburger generously filled with lettuce and tomato. What I was served was a kind of flattened frikandel special without any vegetables. Just some onion and sauce. Once, but never again!

Delicious fries and snacks, very good snack bar, we will definitely go here more often.

Great fries, but these days a family-sized bag contains 150 grams per person. Portions are getting smaller and smaller. This was the last time we'll order anything from them for a while.

Nice and good stuff. In contrast to my previous visit, I now experienced the following: my portion of fries really only contained 4 pieces of fries of about 5 cm, the rest were usually 2 cm and then triangular in diameter, which means that almost all pieces of fries were (too) hard or overcooked. That should be different That's how it should be according to the chef:  “Of course I never want fries from the freezer at a real chip shop, they were fresh here, so that would be a plus. What do you expect? Fresh fries that are golden yellow with a crispy layer on the outside and enough mashed potato flavor on the inside.

The food is good, you get large portions of fries.

Delicious hand-cut fries in a beautiful location.

Best fries in years, 10/10. Only ox white could have made it even better, but unfortunately it was banned. Perhaps the best fries in the Netherlands. Good variety, nicely cut to thickness, well pre-fried and perfectly baked. No wave fries and no crackling fries either. Perfect in terms of salt today too. Frikandels one of the better varieties, good spicy taste with a clear kick of black pepper in it. Milkshake also great: pure soft ice cream flavor without ice crystals and not too sweet. Friendly staff.

After visiting the Buitenkerk we were hungry. The Frietzaak is a stone's throw from this church. We walked in and the fries did not come out of the freezer as usual, but the raw potato was freshly cut, pre-fried in the morning and if you order the fries a few hours later, they are briefly put back in the frying fat... and . . You can taste the difference!👌You will never want anything else. The only business to my knowledge in Kampen that does it this way; Delicious!

Closed on Sundays!!. Very unfortunate because it is our chip eating day. Stated correctly here. However, their own website states that they are open on Sundays.

Nice big clean snack bar. Plenty of seating space with beautiful views. Nice place to eat fries and snacks with music in the background.

Had delicious gluten-free fries and gluten-free noodles. Friendly owner. Sufficient and clean places to sit.

We came to this Frietzaak by chance. The waitress is very friendly and treated us with care. Very good food, typical of Holland. Very reasonable price. And the place was very clean!

Fries were old, the chicken tasted like it came from a can and the order was incomplete.

The lady who helped us was very helpful in thinking along with us. The fries were also delicious. If I come to Kampen again, I will definitely get fries here again.

Delicious food and nice people!

The food (fries and croquettes) was very greasy. It tasted like old grease! Rarely have I had such bad fries in HOLLAND. We felt nauseous and had stomach pains.

Friendly welcome. Tasty freshly cut fries. A bit pricey...

Fries too hard, hamburger was on the black side, dry, too bad

Fries are fine. Cheeseburger sandwich was very disappointing. This was a ready-made burger, slice of cheddar and no sauce. This makes it a very dry snack. The latter is not recommended. That's a shame, because there is definitely potential in this business with its home-made fries. It's a shame that the decision is made to serve a hamburger this way. Hopefully this will be changed next time!

We ran away when we saw that a soft ice cream had to cost €4.50. Grabflation!

Heerlijk dat hier een aparte glutenvrije frituur is. Ook meerdere glutenvrije snacks waar onze zoon JayJay uit kan kiezen. Vooral de gv frikadellen vind hij erg lekker. Soms wordt voor hem de disco lichten aangezet en dan is het feest helemaal compleet. JayJay is een kindje met beperking maar bij de snackbar is het voor hem altijd feest.

Hier gegeten met mijn zoon. Vette en te zoute patat 😔. Het stoofvlees was ook zoutig van smaak en lauw waardoor ik de smaak van het stoofvlees niet goed proefde. Ook de pulled chickend van mijn zoon was lauw van smaak. Erg jammerde zaak ziet er zo netjes uit van buiten én op de website.

Wel lekker, maar ook graaiflatie..

Geen saté, oké dat is een keuze. Friet erg slecht, waarschijnlijk opgewarmd, berenklauw te lang gebakken. Erg jammer.

Sehr schöne Stadt. Man kann dort sehr gut Fahrrad fahren wie wo anders auch in der Niederlande

De leukste snackbar van de omgeving! Friet is lekker. We bestellen vaak zonder zout en dat wordt heel netjes gedaan!

Prijs softijsje groot €4.50 nog nergens in omgeving zo' n duur ijsje gehaald. Belachelijk!

Lekkere hap. Smakelijk en veel. Voor een mooie prijs. Doen.

Ouverture à 12h pile. Lieu très propre. Un large choix de frites et accompagnement. Nous n’avons pas testé les glaces. Pas de carte en anglais malheureusement. Mais une fois installé et servi, le patron a échangé quelques mots en anglais avec nous. Qualité comparable aux friteries françaises et belges.

We moeten er even voor rijden vanuit IJsselmuiden maar het is altijd de moeite waard. Eerlijk is eerlijk, de friet vinden ze hier thuis allemaal de lekkerste van de omgeving. Persoonlijk favoriet zijn de luxe friet met pulled pork en stoofvlees. En altijd een vriendelijk ontvangst, top!

Vandaag uit de brand geholpen door deze toppers! In een nood en stress situatie waar de eigen frituur het begeven had stond er binnen 20 minuten voor wel 50 personen patat klaar! Super top!

Leuke zaak, leuk personeel. Helaas moest de ijsmachine opwarmen, dus ik nam een cola :)

Erg lekkere friet! Ook de cheeseburger is zeer aan te raden! De friet proefde alsof deze vers gesneden was en ook de satesaus was smakelijk.

Gastvrije en leuke ontvangst. Heerlijke versgesneden dikke patatten, zo vind je ze niet vaak meer. Heerlijke sausjes, vaak zelfgemaakt hoorde ik. Vriendelijk personeel, de bedrijfsleider heeft humor....
