De Gastronoom Hommelstraat in Spijkerkwartier

We ordered three small kapsalons. They took three hours to deliver. I called twice and got a grumpy reply that it was on its way. You can't take three hours to prepare an order and then have it arrive cold.

Dear Gastronoom, Last week, I unfortunately had a nearly fatal meal at your place. I have a severe peanut and tree nut allergy, so I ordered a bamibal with mayonnaise for myself. I explained my allergy and asked if this could be accommodated, and they said no problem. I remember that with the second-to-last bite, I had a terrible peanut taste in my mouth, followed immediately by swollen mouth and lips. About 15 to 20 minutes later, I went into anaphylactic shock after ingesting some peanut. This was probably because someone who ordered fries with peanut sauce was served side by side on the same tray. I hope this is a real wake-up call for you, and hopefully, you'll start paying more attention to hygiene and/or allergies. This can seriously cost lives. However, I've never had this happen at a snack bar before, so I felt confident enough to order from you after mentioning it. I've also eaten at your place before, and it went well then. Unfortunately, I won't dare order or eat from you again in the future... I'm not writing this to put you down. But to make it clear that peanut/tree nut allergies should be taken seriously. Worst restaurant of all! Food is lukewarm! Food is not on time! Staff is rude! Owner, do something about this!

Poor customer service and unfriendly behavior My experience with De Gastronoom was downright disappointing. When I called, the employee indicated that he could not hear me well and then immediately hung up, without giving me the chance to say anything back. I was then told to call again, but when I did, the phone was no longer answered. This unfriendly attitude does not reflect well on how they treat customers. I do not know the cafeteria personally, but after this experience I do not feel any need to eat there either. Customer service should always be a priority, but that seems to be hard to find here.

Just picked it up. 5 stars for the food, because I'm writing this while I'm still eating it. 5 stars for the service, because I was allowed to take home a mayo I forgot to order. 5 stars for the atmosphere, because there's a funny guy working there.

Good place for a snack. Gastronoom (all the branches) are the best in the Arnhem Area!

The entire order went into the trash. Watery satay sauce, dry, unsalted and cold fries. We thought in time (at order at 5:30 PM, but the food did not arrive until after 7:00 PM). Bah.

For the umpteenth time, the bitterballen were frozen inside, so I put them in the oven again at home.

Placed an order last night at 6:45 PM. At 10:00 PM!!! At one o'clock you came to deliver the food. I was already sleeping. When you called the second time to ask where it was, your phone was off. Fries thrown away. Phew.

That it is busy is fine, but waiting 2.5 hours for your food when it says 40 minutes is absurdly long, the second time now that there is sour fetta cheese at the salon!! Then they called 3 times and had a smart conversation. Unfortunately I won't be ordering from here again.

Last night I received a special fries without onion and the bacon burger had no cheese on it.

Om af te halen bestelde ik 1 friet met tomatensaus en 1 frikandel-zonder. De frikandel zat in een plastic bakje in een papieren zak, waarom in hemelsnaam? Over de friet ben ik tevreden maar de vieze frikandel mag gewoonweg geen frikandel heten. Het is een dunne taaie stuiterworst die niet eens op een frikandel lijkt. Als je van een lekkere frikandel houdt moet je hier niet zijn.

Lekker eten maar sinds een tijdje een meneer met brilletje werkzaam die niet heel vriendelijk is ingesteld (Hommelstraat)

Beste patat van Arnhem. Lekkere dikke patat met krokant laagje. Als ik in arnhem ben ga ik veel vaker hier naar toe. En de keuze is reuze.

Altijd erg lekkere kapsalons hier. Niets op aan te merken!

eten is lekker alleen staat er dat mn bestelling er is binnen 25 minuten. zit inmiddels als 45 min te wachten en nog steeds niks binnen pfff

Hele lekkere frietjes. Ik haal wel drie keer per week een patatje oorlog bij de Dolfijn maar die was al dicht dus vannacht bij de gastronoom. Ook vriendelijk geholpen!

Goede service. Aardige personeel en een overzichtelijke menukaart. Zeker een aanrader

Bij het broodje kroket zat geen mosterd wat ik had gevraagd. Bij de friet geen vorkje en de saus zat er bovenop niet in een apart vakje. En in de keuken namen ze niet de afstand diendie nu moet. Ik eet dit bijna nooit maar zal het sws niet meer hier halen. Jammer.
