What a fantastic restaurant! A great menu with something for everyone. They have a wonderfully extensive beer list and are a member of the Hertog Jan beer society. We had a wonderful meal and drinks, and the service was excellent. We'll definitely be back.

Fijn restaurant. Alles klopt: Ambiance, menukaart, gerechten, prijzen en boven alles zeker ook de service! Waren er de eerste keer, op aanraden van lokale vrienden. Komen zeker nog terug.

We hebben heerlijk gegeten en gedronken. Vriendelijke bediening. We zaten in de tuin, wat met het mooie weer extra genieten was.

Wij hebben onze personeelsdag bij De Heere van Meijel doorgebracht. Het was een hele leuke goed verzorgde dag. Alles was goed geregeld lunch, activiteit en de afsluitende bbq. We hebben lekker gegeten en de activiteiten vielen goed in de smaak bij het personeel. Het personeel was vriendelijk en hulpvaardig. Dus een personeelsfeest op deze locatie is zeker een aanrader!

Last Saturday we made a reservation for dinner here. Beautiful characteristic building where you enter a cozy bar area. Very warm welcome and very nice staff that is also very friendly, professional and attentive in the background. Restaurant area nice and spacious and light with very nice chairs and pleasant ambiance. Together we had "De heere genieten" as a starter, a delicious platter with a mix of different starters, it not only looked beautiful, it also tasted delicious. As a main course a Rumpsteak with nice grilled vegetables, also very tasty. Unfortunately we had no more room in our stomach for dessert, that will come next time. Also very surprising is the large selection of beers and specialty beers, both on tap and from the bottle. We will definitely come back.

05062025: visited the Heere van Meijel because of a family party. Nice location and with the whole family in a separate part had a nice barbecue. Lots of choice of (non) alcoholic drinks and more than enough seats.

The staff is so friendly and accommodating🤵🏼🤵🏼‍♂️ The shop is very modern and stylishly decorated. 🪑🖼️ The restrooms and dining area are kept clean. 🫧 The salad with grilled chicken, pineapple, and sweet chili is highly recommended 👌🏼 If we're ever in the area again, we'll be back.

This time we went on a discovery tour with the group of friends by means of a cargo bike and bicycles through Meijel. We did the escape room on wheels, it was fantastic! Despite the hot breath of the angry guards on our necks, and the frantic temperature outside, we were just in time and managed to unravel the riddle and the treasure. Afterwards it turned out that the angry guards had been slightly confused about a vaguely obtained gift voucher. That remains our secret.😉 While enjoying a delicious beer, we enjoyed this super cool experience for a long time. Thanks for that.

Unlimited spareribs evening was a success. The waiters had a good pace. The spareribs were well marinated and fell off the bone. A good special beer assortment, with some lesser known beers

Booked an Army Jeep Safari for 2 and then had a nice lunch and a beer. The welcome was friendly and inviting, the Jeep Safari very fun and original and the lunch was tasty in a cozy atmosphere. All in all, highly recommended.

Here I celebrated my 60th birthday with a group of 33. Lunch, Jeep tour with 9 Jeeps through the Peel and followed by a BBQ. High fun factor, good food, and plenty of private space for a family party. Really nice and very friendly people. Also very reasonable financially when you see what you ultimately get for it. All my guests returned home satisfied, enthusiastic and happy. Definitely recommended.

De tour met de jeeps was zelfs nog actiever en leuker dan we hadden verwacht. Het team van De Heere van Meijel maakte onze dag compleet met hun warme gastvrijheid en de perfecte organisatie. Had dinner here as a family outing. Nicely decorated restaurant. Drinks and intake of dishes went quickly. A good explanation was also given regarding the daily special or dishes. Starters came quickly and tasted great. Something went wrong with the main course because the accompanying fries only arrived after 5 minutes, as a result some of the meat was gone and the other was cold. Not a word of apology about this delay from the staff. Portions of meat were very small and the amount of fries was also not sufficient. Ordered an extra portion and this was stated separately on the bill. Dessert was good If everything had gone well, the price would have been just okay for the size of the portions (extra fries should not be included in the bill), but now I thought it was too much. In addition, if something goes wrong, the staff should provide explanations and do not keep quiet about it, as this leaves a bad taste in the mouth of the diners.

We rented e-choppers for an afternoon with 7 people, we had a very nice afternoon. You will receive a GPS with a nice route with a few cafes along the way to make a pit stop. Material is all in good order.

On Sunday October 6 we had a jeep tour where you could drive yourself. What a nice experience! In the beginning it takes some getting used to driving such a jeep, no steering or power brakes so be prepared. Nice route through beautiful landscape. Tip for the organizer, put the route on an app, so that you can follow the map and that something is said along the way, now constantly focusing on the paper description. But the tour is definitely recommended. Afterwards we had some drinks, which was also recommended.

We kwamen hier voor t eerst. We kregen een tafeltje op een drukke plek. Zonder iets te zeggen had de bediening in de gaten dat we t te rumoerig vonden en kwamen ons een ander tafeltje op een rustige plek aanbieden. Heerlijk gegeten, bediening stemt erg goed in tempo af en ze zijn heel vriendelijk. Een plek waar we graag nog eens terugkomen.!

Yesterday we drove the jeeps as a company outing, had drinks and ate. What a recommendation! Jeeps were a lot of fun and the location is beautiful (garden + inside). The people were very hospitable. I would definitely like to go back with friends or family.

We used the army jeep in the Peel activity for a bachelor's day. Very fun to do! The service was very good. Unfortunately, we were told in advance that there was one jeep less available due to an unexpected defect, but this was handled very politely with a good alternative and a discount.

Beautiful building, which is beautifully decorated. When the weather is good you can sit on the terrace or in the courtyard. We chose the sea bass and a salad and both were of good quality. Prices are normal according to current catering standards. Nice staff who are quite alert. All in all a very good experience.

We took a social deal with 'mopeds' and a route. Upon arrival, the ' mopeds' are completely run-down, stripped old mopeds. Saddles completely sagged, tires old and slippery, no km counter or fuel gauge, flashing light or bell/horn, supposedly because those things 'break'. Also not suitable for more than 100 kg, but they do not indicate that. They make a lot of noise, I am severely hearing impaired and it still bothered me a lot. I felt very sorry for my hearing husband. The navigation with the 'route' does not work. This sent us the same route three times, but the entire route was never actually picked up. When we came back and indicated that this did not work, we received a loud mouth and the message that 'thousands had gone before us'. This was also evident from the completely outdated navigation, which was just not falling apart. Fortunately, we are very experienced junction riders and we were able to plot a nice route 'on the fly' with the map and website of visit Noord Limburg ourselves, with roads that are also suitable for mopeds (they are mopeds, not scooters). If you are not skilled in that, they will leave you out in the cold. No judgment about the food, we were planning to eat there but after this experience? Absolutely not. Crappy material, crappy service. Two stars for the obviously beautiful surroundings that we enjoyed, thanks to our own knowledge. They also did not look at our driver's license or ask for a deposit and the helmet did not have an E4 sticker, the mopeds are old-fashioned 'limited' around 30 km/h, which is very annoying without a km counter, so they do not take safety seriously. narrow. We were warmly welcomed, after lunch with tasty sandwiches we started with the Trabant. Had a nice and good explanation, you follow the route book and pass very beautiful roads, paved and unpaved. Super fun driving the Trabant. After a drink break we drove to the forest in an army truck. Here we worked with laser guns in several sessions, great fun. When we got back, the BBQ was already on and we had a delicious meal A day that I recommend to everyone, we had so much fun on this day

Delicious food on the beautiful terrace

We had booked a tour with an army jeep in combination with high beer and high wine. Welcoming reception, first sat on the terrace. Then a beautiful tour made by De Peel with the jeeps. To conclude, we enjoyed a high wine and high beer with delicious snacks on the back patio. Recommended! We will definitely come back with the group of friends for an afternoon on the terrace or a dinner. Nice clean location and everything well taken care of. Nice staff.

What a fun Sunday afternoon we had with the Swingtrikes, highly recommended for swinging around in the peel. Fortunately, it was also possible to rent 1 e-chopper for those who had difficulty walking. Absolutely great We were also lucky with the weather, which made everything absolutely wonderful. When we returned, we had a nice drink and snack on the terrace outside. Compliments to the fun and fast team at De Heere van Meijl.

We rented a Jeep here and took a tour. We were given a route with a story from the past in which this route was well explained. No fuss is made if the route takes longer than planned because safety is more important than speed. I'll do it again in a heartbeat.

As a guest at a wedding, I once again enjoyed the perfect snacks and the attentive staff. Nice to set up such a thing.

Fijne middag gehad, fatstep met daarna borrel arrangement. Iedereen heeft genoten.

Mooi concept; een restaurant, een cafe, winkel etc. En het eten en de bediening was vriendelijk. We genoten van het voorstel van de dag: de bloemkool soep en het gerecht van de zeebaars en eend. Daarnaast afgesloten met de peren en appelkruim. Dat laatste had wat langer in de oven mogen staan.

De lunch en service waren heel goed, vijf sterren. Helaas viel de legerjeep erg tegen; na een paar minuten rijden, zijn we weer teruggekeerd. Het stuur zit hoog en de stoel kan niet verzet worden, dus als je een buikje hebt, zit dat stuur in je buik. Geen stuurbekrachtiging, dus zwaar sturen. Geen binnenspiegel, dus geen goed zicht op wat achter je rijdt. De rem reageerde traag. Geen gordels, terwijl de zijkanten van de jeeps open zijn. Dat voelde niet echt veilig. Door de open zijkanten regende het ook in de jeep. Alles bij elkaar voelden we ons er niet goed bij om verder te gaan voor een ontspannen tochtje in de natuur, helaas.
