De Huismeester in Rotterdam Centrum

Quite a small, but very cosy little eatery that serves surprisingly tasty and unique food! Had the Philly cheese steak myself and was pleasantly surprised! Do wish they had a slightly more exciting beer menu, but their food menu is definitely a plus! Especially on sunny days this place has a great terrace to enjoy the weather!

Cosy place tucked in the corner of the building. Pinchos were delicious! Lychee rose martini mocktail was too sweet for my liking but the other things were all good.

An unexpected, but super nice location from the street. Warm welcome, nice people in the service and delicious lunch dishes. highly recommended!

Wening low tables. Luckily for us there was still room at a low table. We had to go up two flights of stairs for that. The food was really delicious. It's just a gamble whether you've ordered enough tapas.

From the day of opening I have been waiting for the day of closing. It is so small inside that I think you can accommodate enough guests to generate sufficient turnover.... apparently it is possible even though owners have since changed. .... the big plus is the terrace .... for one reason or another the terrace is always well filled with almost all nice people .... just to be clear .... I wish Huismeester everything good in the world.... I find the menu less exciting compared to the first years, but the quality is always top.... actually I would like to indicate that I don't really know it either, in this case a few things could be different for me but the always full terrace...even in colder conditions...speaks the opposite....

Very cosy, great food too. The 2 person tables were very small though, so eating was a bit messy but the food greatly compensated.

Menu is very meat-heavy. Virtually no options for vegetarians. Drinks and atmosphere were good.

Hier gisteren wezen lunchen lekker in het zonnetje☀️ wat een lekker terrasje is dit zeg! Vlotte bediening en een heerlijke tosti op en daarbij de nachos uit de oven! Kortom echt een aanrader dit! 👍🏻

Very nice staff and friendly, good service. Food is ok, as we ordered a paella with some seafood and black ink. Well the paella doesn't look very appealing while looking at it, but it was tasty with a full bite of rice. Still I think it needed some more flavour in my opinion.

Un bar convivial et très vivant qui sert de belles assiettes à partager, il y en a pour tous les goûts (des classiques patatas bravas au pan con tomate hispaniques, il y aussi des légumes grillés, du fromage, des tatakis…) — mention spéciale pour le camembert rôti et ses noix de pécans caramélisées, une belle découverte !
