A great day trip destination. Even the littlest ones can keep themselves entertained here. Cows, chickens, everything delights the kids. The ice cream is excellent, the portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. All in all, highly recommended.

Delicious ice cream in a lovely place. We've been coming here for years when we're on vacation in the area. Yesterday, we noticed that the cappuccino had become very weak (watery) and the ice cream selection was smaller or at least different. The outside also looked a bit messy, so we've now lost one star. Luckily, the ice cream was still good. This could be a snapshot of the week, so I'll try again. Hopefully, the star can be returned then. 29-06-2025 update: Unfortunately, it turns out not to be a snapshot. The ice cream is still good, the cappuccino is still watery, and now there's hardly any foam. The whole place looks even messier/dilapidated compared to a few years ago, and therefore uninviting. Too bad. No extra star. The 3 stars are solely for the ice cream.

Perfect ice cream quality. Their own Jersey cow's milk has an ideal fat content and creates a sublime texture. The ice cream yogurt flavor with raspberry, walnut, and honey is unbeatable. There's plenty of room to enjoy it on the patio, next to the children playing.

Yes, if you don't care much about clean tables. Good ice cream, tasty snacks. Plenty of seating outside and under cover. Playground, petting zoo. Good for a trip with small children. But there seems to be too few staff there to clear or wipe down tables. That's not very inviting.

Passed by here this afternoon on a bike ride.... thought we'd have a quick lunch, the snappy employee told us it wasn't possible, she was standing alone. But we had an ice cream, she even asked several times what it should be....never experienced that before. She can of course speak to you properly....we can't help it that she's standing alone.... If you do that to customer loyalty, things will quickly deteriorate. We should also mention that we've been coming here for years from our hometown of Hengelo, always friendly service.

A year ago I wrote that it was the best ice cream ever, but unfortunately I have to revise that today. We ate our first ice cream at Ijskuipers yesterday and for me the taste was top notch, as if someone had tried to recreate the legendary Kiupers ice cream and had forgotten some of the ingredients. Kuipers ice cream is creamy and an unparalleled taste explosion, you still had the feeling of having to take a portion with you. Well, what I ate yesterday: Stracciatella, Kuipers ice cream (the ice cream with an award) and Boerenjonge. The taste of the good chocolate, the delicious raspberries and the rum was missing, which was a shame. I can understand that everything has become more expensive, but now you have to pay €1.70 for a ball and the quality drops, that's something you should think about.

Table reservation for coffee and cake for 20 people did not work despite prior arrangements by email and telephone. Disappointing!!! Nothing was prepared, not even the tables in the room were wiped down. Bad excuses on site and no solution to the problem. Departure of the entire group!

Nice ice cream parlor right on the canal. Unfortunately, it looks outdated and there are hardly any options to properly connect your bike. Ice cream was delicious and the selection was quite good.

Friendly service staff, delicious ice cream, small playground, observing farm animals up close, small exhibition... it's always worth a micro trip.

Today we were there around 4:00 p.m. Lt. Website and Google should be open. After an hour's journey we had to explain to our daughter that there was no ice cream and no place to play. Because unfortunately there was no one to be seen and it was closed. Very unfortunate.

De IJskuip is a place where you can buy ice cream but everything is made in-house. If you want, everyone can visit a museum about old racing bike rider Henny Kuiper. A very well-known racing bike rider in Holland There is also plenty of space for children to live out their lives. All in all, a nice destination for a delicious ice cream and relaxation.
