Security and girl bartender don't accept people from other countries and they are really unpleasant

We were not allowed in because we come from another country. The security guard is racist and the manager was not friendly.

These people deserve 0 stars. They discriminate based on what you wear. We had a group of friends of 7 people; 1 person wasn't allowed in based on what he was wearing. Nowhere is it stated that there is a dress code, so what they are doing is discriminating. The woman behind the bar was extremely unreasonable. Bad, discriminatory place; super rude. What they are doing isn't even officially allowed.

The security guard is very racist. I showed him my Dutch driver's license, but he said something to me that really surprised me. He literally said, "If you don't have a Dutch ID card, you aren't allowed in." So, in other words, he meant to say, "If you aren't Dutch, you aren't allowed in." That makes absolutely no sense. Two years ago, I went to De Lange regularly, and the security guard was very friendly and never caused a problem, but this security guard today is very racist.

We (a group of girls celebrating a bachelorette party) went in when the city was still quiet and ended up spending the whole night there. The bartenders were fantastic, and there was a pretty good selection of drinks and spirits at fair prices. The security was also very friendly. The DJ really delivered and even played requests. The surprise in the restroom was a highlight. The place isn't huge, but it was perfect for us.

Short story: If you don’t speak Dutch you can not enter. Tip: Chose another club.

We've been coming here for about three years, but tonight they wouldn't let us in because we're Bulgarian citizens. They said only German and Dutch citizens are allowed in. They're being racist. That's all I'm sending.

I can't say anything about the food. But the music and atmosphere were great.

We are tourists from the USA. Last week, we wanted to enter the establishment. We were denied access because a coligue had sweat pants ok no big deal weather was great we bought drinks and enjoyed the outside what we really wanted was to enjoy the dance floor this week we visit once again we get kicked out two minutes after entering the establishment because my colleague has a hat on first off that's the doorman job to let us know that hats are not allowed. Second, the manager kicked out the whole crew of ten and wasn't even receptive to understanding that we were foreign and didn't know the establishment's rules. Third, the manager, a lady, was so rude and wasn't even trying to take accountability that this wouldn't have even happened if her doorman did his job. Tourist/ foreign people bring money to this establishment. We will never be back nor recommend this place. We gave this place a second chance, instead go to the locomotive around the corner. The DJ is excellent, and the vibe is good.

Great music, always a good atmosphere, no complaints about the long wait. Want to drink well and dance? This is the place to be.

I can't tell you much about the food. But the music that is played in this club in the evening is great! Nice music that everyone knows. A bit of top 40, old classics and Dutch hits. I had a date that evening. It was the best date I had.

I'm giving it 3 stars blindly, because after reading other opinions... it's scary. We'll go, we'll see, we'll evaluate :)

If you want to experience discrimination and hate for coming to the Netherlands and working jobs that the precious silver-spooned spoiled Dutch people refuse to do, and keep this country going, then go ahead.

I wasn't allowed to go in because I had a bag on. I offered to let him check the bag for anything, but that was too much trouble for Mr. Guard. If I came to give 0 stars, I would. 😃👍🏻

Actually not even worthy of a star. I waited in line for a very long time last night. If you know the guards you will be let in, otherwise you will have to join the queue! Favoritism!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My friend was there and doesn't recommend it. They didn't let her in, and when the security guard heard that she spoke English, he dramatically changed his attitude and tone of voice. Despite the fact that my friend was 29 years old, he asked her to show her student card and did not explain anything, and then he did not let her in when he found out that she did not have one.

Worst experience ever… this guy, probably the only security person, is the rudest person to ever exist on the planet. If this place was gonna give me free drinks, i would not even consider going there, bc I might meet this guy. This would f up my evening so badly, that I would immediately go home and cry… Would not recommend!

Bad and racist attitude from security guy … Last night me and my two friends wanted to go in this particular club for couple of drinks. As soon as the guy heard us speaking english, he changed his all face. Apparently i was wearing my bum bag with all my documents and important stuff. The security said that is not allowed to go inside the club with any kind of bags, meanwhile 4-5 Dutch speaking guys were coming out the club, all of them were wearing bags…. So we went to our car, left the bag inside and came back again, as soon as the guy saw us coming back, he was not happy at all. As we kept getting closer to him he said that the club is already full and has no space for us inside. After that we were staying couple meters away and people kept going inside without any problems…

Great clubbing opportunity! Small but nice hip pub. Especially suitable for young adult audiences.

It is amazing and you can smoke inside very nice place

We went for half an hour on Saturday, happy hour, second drink free until midnight. (Every week?) Live DJ. Party music. The sound was nice and loud, but luckily not too loud.
