Great, authentic brown cafe/restaurant with the usual affordable (low) prices. Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere. Great vibe. I had a delicious, full plate of farmer's schnitzel, well-prepared, with a beer—absolutely fantastic. I'll be back here often when I'm in Dokkum.

The atmosphere and conviviality of the past with Jippe are no longer there, only everything has changed and the food is still quite good.

There was no attention paid to diners. I waited 20 minutes for service, but it never arrived. So I left. The dining area wasn't separated from the pub, which made it very noisy.

Friendly people at the chip shop and delicious food. The place itself is a bit gloomy, but you can always take it away, and the food is great.

We are with the old one on Sunday October 20th Moped club had dinner with 30 people They were not well prepared for this, they had had to take and finish drinks and food per table. It can sometimes take a while before you are helped at the bar, but the atmosphere, the beer and the food are fantastic

On the way back from the boat, a quick stop at “de Lantaarn” in the middle of a pleasant working-class neighborhood, a nice cafe with friendly people, delicious food, normal prices, nice atmosphere, large portions! I recommend everyone to eat here!

Very busy eating fries not top quality

If you are looking for the tastiest snack bar in Dokkum, then you have come to the right place. You can taste from the fries and snacks that the frying fat is replaced regularly. And the café is absolutely fantastic! Very nice atmosphere, especially on Friday and Saturday evenings. (Tip: try the chicken schnitzel)

Elk jaar dat we in Dokkum komen, met de boot halen we eten bij de lantaarn weg. Ben je zeker dat je lekker eet.

Na een dagje Ameland zochten we wat later op de avond nog een snelle hap in de buurt van de camping. Kwamen daardoor al snel hier terecht. Werden uiterst vriendelijk ontvangen en geholpen. Er hangt een hele goede sfeer, ruime tafels, het eten is erg goed en de porties zijn ruim. Aanrader!

Een plek om even tot rust te komen met een hapje of drankje. Met een leuk winkelcentrum met een aantal winkels, met ruime parkeerplaats aanwezig.

Leuke plek om je frietje te halen! Lekker eten hebben ze hier.

Lekkere snacks en voldoende friet en mayo. Wij hebben de snacks ter plaatse genuttigd. Het eten werd geserveerd op normale servies. Alles erg netjes uitgeserveerd. Een aanrader.

Lekker gelunched maar ook leuk café om wat te drinken

Een ruime hoeveelheid lekkere patat, goede kwaliteit snacks en sauzen tegen een goede prijs. Het kan er wel druk zijn maar je kunt luisteren naar leuke muziek. Een dikke 5 sterren.

Ouderwets genoten van een berg patat op in een bord aan de bar met bier binnen handbereik. Mooi dat sommige dingen nooit veranderen!

Heerlijke friet. Je bestelt een kleintje, maar het neigt naar een middeltje. Zoveel krijg je. En met je majo zijn ze ook niet zuinig

Prima shoarmaschotel, ui en paprika er doorheen, frieten lekker, binnen 10 minuten klaar, goede snackbar!

Iedere keer weer een feest om hier een lekkere patat te eten. Ik kwam hier al als kind toen het nog van Boele en later Jippe was en ik ben blij dat de sfeer en de kwaliteitsbeleving nog van hetzelfde uitmuntende niveau zijn als toen. Ga zo door!
