Not much on the shelves. Kibbeling is microwaved, and a salmon sandwich comes with four small pieces of salmon. And that for almost €9. It didn't taste good.

Went here to try the new herring. Also wanted a portion of kibbeling. I came in the morning. A woman walked out laughing with a big bag: she'd bought all the fried kibbeling and they wouldn't have any left for the rest of the day. They asked for a favor: the herring wouldn't be prepared for me until I'd paid. I think I was charged €3.50 for a herring that was firm, not too salty, but still had that bloody taste and bones. I won't be returning to this place. They were glad I was leaving because they couldn't get a response to my goodbyes.

I am not a fan of Kibbeling and prefer (sandwiches) herring and eel. And I personally think they are fantastic. I first came to the extension of the De Lievencomplex diagonally opposite. Now I work in Amsterdam again near the Olympic Stadium, and I went there to get sandwiches for the journey home. I find the managers very friendly and I like to come here. Always a nice smooth chat and will come here more often when I am in the area.

Microwaved kibbeling, not crispy. Staff are otherwise nice.

Way too expensive for microwave fish!! Definitely not recommended.

Herring and eel are very tasty here! The people who work there are very friendly and hospitable.

If you order kibbeling, they heat it up in the microwave, yuck. Soft, nasty, and expensive.

Damage to fish sales! Kibbeling reheated in a microwave. And delivered half-cooked! A big, greasy mess! And way too expensive for the reheated stuff.

for the money we spent it is inedible. it came out of the microwave, was tough and not crispy. i am also taking a shit.

The fish was quite tasty, but unfortunately it came from the microwave. We are all feeling pleasantly nauseous, hoping it is not food poisoning

Just bought a tasty treat for 6.50, it was in the display case and was put in the microwave. Not crispy and dry. Will buy fish elsewhere in the future.

Kibbeling not tasty at all. Reheated in the microwave, crispiness was nowhere to be found, rather tough. Very disappointing

GREAT, a little take out stand next to a grocery store. The owner was very friendly to American tourists. I came here multiple times during my trip. The crab cakes were EXCELLENT. I would much rather save some money and eat here as compared to a sit down restaurant.

On a brackish afternoon we decided to get a nice fish, after arriving we decided to have a medium bowl of kibbeling. The owner took a container from the display case (I think it had been there for a while) and put it in the microwave. Such a preparation method did not look too good. After the first bite you noticed that the kibbeling was once crispy, all that was left now was a half cold/half wet bowl of kibbeling. It's a shame and that for just over 6 euros... The herring and salmon sandwich was quite tasty.
