De Prins is a cozy hospitality venue (pub) for all ages. The atmosphere is incredibly energetic, especially on weekends. Complete with a modest terrace and a smoking area for enthusiasts. The location is ideal. Spacious enough for about a hundred visitors. And coming from Leeuwarden Central Station towards Leeuwarden's nightlife district, it is pretty much the first bar you come across. Taxis right outside the door. Competent bouncers who filter out the bad elements before they get a chance to enter the premises. The music is very loud in the evenings, though. And the music genre falls under the category of après-ski.... All in all, an experience I can recommend to everyone. P.S. I met my current love there six years ago. Enjoy!

This review is thanks. I took the arriva from Groningen back to Leeuwarden, expecting to use the restroom on the train -- but the train's only restroom was 'out of order.' So I had to hold it for a full 40 minutes. Then I thought, at least at the station I could use the restroom right? Nope. It was closed. Then when I went to get my bike, the guy who checks people out was -- you guessed it -- in the restroom. When he finally emerged, I asked him if I could possibly use it, and he said no. So when I approached this place, I was so close to peeing my pants. But I asked, and the man at the bar said I could go there! And then I had a small chat with someone. Will be back when I need more humanity in my life. Long live De Prins 'H.'

Not a nice place to eat. There are only high tables, not comfortable to sit at.

We had a wonderful time singing here on King's Day. Nice young people in the service, the atmosphere was absolutely great!!!! We enjoyed it from the moment we were there until the end!!! On to next time ❣️

Super nice and cozy pub in the heart of Leeuwarden (near the 'Grote Toren' of Leeuwarden). The decor resembles a brown café. The bartender was the nicest and hospitable (had a nice chat). The audience that came and sat inside was also very warm and hospitable (up for a nice chat). If you are in Leeuwarden, it is recommended to stop by!

Nice pub in the heart of Leeuwarden. I usually go here. It's a lot of fun and I always meet people I know. Atmosphere is really relaxed and positive. Staff is very friendly. Food rated 3 stars, I have never eaten here.

Cozy, authentic, pittoresque, friendly staff. There is an smoking area, wheelchair friendly.

It used to be a regular occurrence to sit here for a while. Not much interest in it lately. By the way, you can smoke there in the tent outside. I don't think the terrace looks very cozy.

Nice place for Vrijmibo, unfortunately it wasn't that busy. We may have been too early.

Nice place to drink a beer after work

Leuk café maar te veel rook van de rookmachine voor mensen met astma. Niet te doen, dag later heb ik nog last van mijn keel en longen.

Leuk cafe. Ik ben er voetbal wezen kijken. Heel gezellig was het. Makelijk met pin betalen elk biertje.

Even lekker gezeten, paar drankjes en vanavond niet te veel drukte. Heerlijk!

Nette kleine Kneipe zum Bier trinken mit sehr nettem Personal und vielen Biersorten vom Fass

Mooi plekje om vanaf het terras te genieten in het zonnetje met bier binnen handbereik. Vlakbij mijn werkplek, ideaal om hybride te werken.

Jack is de beste en leukste barkeeper! Attent snel en altijd vriendelijk.

Prettige en fijne sfeer, het personeel is betrokken bij de mensen aan de bar/terras. De manier waarop wordt omgesprongen met elkaar is de manier waarop je het verwacht. Goede bediening en een goed hapje eten op vrijdag avond. Voor mij meer dan een goede kroeg/eet café.

Broodjes worden vers bereid en zijn altijd smakelijk. Prijs is goed voor wat je krijgt. De keuze is al jaren vrijwel ongewijzigd. Never change a winning team!

De menukaart kent diverse soorten broodjes naar keuze. Het bruine belegde broodje met Ei-bieslooksalade, gebakken bacon, komkommer-slamix was heerlijk. Vers bereide producten die in de zaak, online of telefonisch besteld kunnen worden. Vriendelijke bediening en de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is prima. Parkeren (betaal) kan niet voor de deur maar langs de kade op 2-3 minuten loopafstand. Noot: Ze bezorgen ook lunches.
