De RodeZee Vishandel in Kustwijk

Saw a seagull eat a piece of fish, now it has diarrhea.

A lovely fish truck in Lelystad – friendly owner, delicious fried fish with a crispy coating. The only slight drawback: the portion could be a bit bigger. Still, highly recommended!

The kibbeling was crumbly and not tasty, bland in flavor. Not Urk quality. The herring sandwich was tasty. Nice place to grab a quick bite on the way.

Good kibbeling. Quite good for a snack.

Well, maybe it was the hot weather, but our kibbeling was very greasy and the mayonnaise was warm. No sun umbrellas, tables in the blazing sun. At 30 degrees Celsius, I would have expected better service. Everyone was eating in their cars. We're definitely never going there again.

Just greasy and bad… has nothing to do with kibbeling, and certainly not for this price.

Gave it a second chance but unfortunately, very bad kibbeling, didn't eat it and strange spices on it.

Unfortunately I can’t put more than 5 stars It’s delicious and you feel that the owner love his work I enjoyed the whole experience ( Yes it wasn’t just food but the whole experience for me )

Deliciously tender kibbeling. No hard and/or tough fish

Worst kibbeling ever. Limp and not crispy. It tasted like chicken seasoning. You couldn't pick it up without it falling apart. A layer of fat remained in the container.

Well, I only read the reviews afterward. I picked up a portion of kibbeling on Monday afternoon on my way to Texel. Now I've had food poisoning since Monday night. I already thought the taste was strange and threw some of it away. Be careful with these stalls, people.

Deliciously spicy Lekkerbek 🤤 Highly recommended ☺️

If you're nearby... and you're craving kibbeling... then you have to go here..... Small food truck in the parking lot... with a view of the sea.... Wonderful... so typical... so good.... I'd gladly come again... Although the prices are a bit high... But the quality is simply top-notch...

German We love coming here again and again, staying at the nearby campsite just around the corner. The fish stall is great – fair prices, freshly prepared dishes, and the option to sit comfortably outside. Thank you for the wonderful experience, we'll definitely be back! Dutch We love coming here again and again, staying at the nearby campsite just around the corner. The fish stall is excellent – fair prices, freshly prepared dishes, and the option to sit outside in a pleasant atmosphere. Thank you for the wonderful experience, we'll definitely be back!

The kibbeling was okay, but for €8.50, the portion could have been larger. Nice spot to sit by the water.

Horrible!!! 14 euros for two small containers of kibbeling. It didn't taste like kibbeling, it was incredibly greasy and disgusting. The spices didn't taste like fish spices either. Both had stomach aches afterward. It's nice that they give you something to take to the beach. But that's the only good thing about it. I'll never order from here again!!

The fish is not good but the gentleman is very friendly

Had a delicious meal today (Sunday afternoon)! I haven't had such delicious herring in a long time. The herring was freshly prepared! The "lekkerbekje" (fried bean) was also delicious. Friendly salesperson! Highly recommended!

The kibbeling was awful. The herring was awful. Everything used to be better! 🙈 Better fish across the street in Enkhuizen, next to the station!

Very bland parking lot, the fish is unfortunately not really fresh and quite expensive.

Nice fish, but you pay a lot and it is not fresh and you are sitting in a parking lot.

Had some fish here, a nice steak for 7.50 euros and a herring for 3.50 euros. I want to get rich quick, I would say quality, take some money off.

A simple fish stall with good fish.

Ordered fish yesterday March 28, 2025, wanted to pay for it (ABN AMRO), ATM indicated that it was not successful. No problem, I pin with my husband's bank card (rabobank) and it has not worked 3 times. Just take a look at my banking app, and yes, it had been debited from my ABN card, and from my husband too, but it was immediately refunded. I show the best man that I have actually paid, but he continues to insist that I have not paid, and that the money will be in my account within an hour. Which is bullshit, he then shows the date 26-3 on his phone and continues to insist that you have not paid. I show him again that it has really been deducted from my account, but he continues to insist that it is not. Long story short, no fish lost 15 euros. I texted the best man but no response back. Never pin with this man, because the pin machine is too cool to handle, barely understands Dutch, and is very unwelcoming towards the customer.

Absolutely not recommended, price/performance is not right, kibbeling was fried for far too long or sent through the fryer twice?

Delicious gourmet kibbeling and herring. The weather was nice and that helps too.

I came here and it wasn't there...

€10.00 for a large portion of kibbeling, which was more like a normal portion. If it were tasty, O.K....but unfortunately not. Way too soft and some were already broken. Too bad...

20 euros of fish and still hungry, way too little for the money

Highly recommend! I thought it was really great here! Nice ambience and great insider tip! The kibbelinges were very tasty and the service was friendly and quick. Gladly again!

Was super convincing twice! Very tasty kibbles! Super friendly staff! The price is worth it 😌 we were even able to order 10 minutes before closing time, with a very friendly welcome☺️😍🫶

The place was beautiful, but terribly expensive and not worth eating. No, we won't be coming back there again.

Ridiculous price for kibbeling, and it wasn't that special 8.50 for a large kibbeling, which is a normal size here in the city.

Worst bickering ever. Duration!!!

Ordered a portion of kibbeling, after waiting 15 minutes I get the message that something is wrong and that he cannot make kibbeling. Too bad about my time...

Atmosphere of a parking lot, nice view. Kibbeling was fine, price for the quantity was a bit on the high side.

Shame, beautiful place and nice man, but the bickering tastes dry and old. Not recommended.

We thought we would eat a delicious snack, kibbeling and an eel sandwich, but we were disappointed. Old cold fish then reheated in half warm fat, so really greasy food. The treat was old and dry. Definitely not fresh fish.

It is tasty and pleasant to eat a herring, kibbeling or a sandwich here. You can also take food with you and it will be packed with care by the friendly owner. The stall is located in a beautiful spot on the Markerwaarddijk

Been coming here for years....top quality and always friendly staff....💯👌🍀👊

One of the best eateries I've ever been to, the fish is simply wonderful 👍🤗

Very friendly welcome - with props. Everything was delicious - herring, cod burgers and kibbeling - everything felt fresh and very well prepared. Right at the end of the dam with easy parking. Right behind it you can watch the kiters and windsurfers.

It's ok, very pricey, but especially the young man (I think the son) is really out of place there, very unfriendly and not customer-oriented, which significantly reduces the atmospheric experience.

Had a delicious kibbeling. Owner is very friendly.

One of the best snacks I've ever been to. Even my son (he doesn't like fish) ate something small but really nice LG Rüdi

Very dry kibble. Too bad for the price. The worst kibbeling I've ever eaten.

very tasty kibbeling and good service!

Erg aardige Egyptische eigenaar....

Frischer Fisch, Super lecker, gute Preise
