It took a very long time to get the menu. After ordering, they checked twice to see exactly what we had. Someone else ordered a sorbet but didn't receive a spoon. The service was also very poor. It's a shame the place was very pleasant, but it was a real shame.

I had tomato soup, but it looked like tomato sauce, so thick. Even after returning it, it was still very thick.

We celebrated a birthday, had dinner bites, and went bowling afterward. The food was excellent, and the staff were super friendly! Combining it with bowling made for a fun, surprising evening. I gave the atmosphere three stars because the website gives the impression that the dining area is very cozy. And I don't think that's the case. The interior could use an update. The atmosphere isn't what it says on the website.

We were there for my sister-in-law's party. They have a convenient and efficient ordering system, and it worked perfectly. The food (all small appetizers) was delicious.

We went for tapas today. Ordering through an app, which we really don't like because you have to be on your phone all the time to order. It's also annoying for older people. The snacks were cold, simple, and not really good quality. For example, the ham was two thin slices (for bread toppings) in sauce. The croquette from the children's menu was cold and large. The carpaccio was wafer-thin with a large bundle of lettuce, completely out of proportion. Many snacks were forgotten or brought incorrectly. A real shame. The service was very good and friendly; they often came to clear the tables, and the drinks were well-stocked. It was well-organized, but the selection was limited and not very tasty.

Very friendly (and young) staff. They did make a few mistakes, but we didn't mind. The food isn't exactly top-notch, but the kids' playground makes up for it.

Great team from the Tea Garden! We had a wonderful day with you today. A truly delicious, huge chicken sandwich... salmon, salad, and fries. The salmon and cream cheese bagel is also highly recommended. We had a lovely chat with Ralph... He gave us a very warm welcome. He has a great sense of humor! The service was great and courteous, and nothing was too much trouble. We also visited the bowling alley and mini golf course. We rented a sloop, and the service I received on the phone was very friendly. Once we arrived, the staff at the waterfront were also incredibly friendly and helpful. The sloop was in perfect condition, and we had a pleasant afternoon.

Nice place where you can eat delicious food, you can also rent a boat, play mini golf, and for the kids there is a playground.

We've been coming here for years, but this time the food was definitely not as good. We got a new sandwich (carpaccio), but it was still not great (the carpaccio was very soggy). The chicken club sandwich, however, was very tasty! We also played mini golf with the four of them. It cost €6.00 per person. It's a shame the course is outdated and you can easily hit the ball off the course.

It's so wonderful to sit here by the water on a summer day, sipping one of the delicious cocktails and enjoying a selection of delicious snacks on your table. There's something for everyone on the menu. It was fantastic, and the service is also superb; they're incredibly helpful. I love coming here. If you're planning a visit and the weather is nice, make sure to book in advance, as they can fill up quickly.

The food is reasonable, but the Smurf ice cream is delicious.

We hebben hier heerlijk geluncht op een heerlijke plek aan het water met een leuk uitzicht op het Waaltje. Verschillende dingen besteld met een groep van 7 en het was heel lekker! De clubsandwich zalm is een aanrader. We zijn ook wezen varen, helaas ging onze boot al gelijk kapot, wat ook weer een bijzondere ervaring was met overstappen midden op het water, maar de jongens waren heel behulpzaam en kwamen ons gelijk helpen. Uiteindelijk met een andere boot terug naar de theetuin. De geboekte boot was helaas niet meer beschikbaar, maar we mochten in een andere leuke boot verder. Super goed opgelost, zodat we toch konden gaan varen en ze hebben het ruimschoots gecompenseerd! Zeker de moeite waard om nog terug te gaan.

Wat een geweldige plek is dit! Als je een groep van maar liefst 24 man zó geordend , snel , vriendelijk en attent van de heerlijkste gerechten kunt voorzien heb je je zaakjes goed voor elkaar! Daarbij een leuke actie...met fluisterbootjes een uur lang varen op de Waal...helemaal leuk! Een gemoedelijke sfeer...Chapeau voor dit personeel en deze mooie zaak !

The four of us went sailing for an hour with the whisper boat and then had brunch. Beautiful view of the Waal, wonderfully relaxing. The food was super tasty, friendly staff and beautiful location, we will definitely go again!

We started the afternoon wonderfully relaxed with a drink on the terrace, where we cut the cake together with our guests. A beautiful moment at an atmospheric location. Afterwards, our guests had plenty of room to enjoy various activities. There was something for everyone: bowling, mini golf or a relaxing boat trip on the water. This variety created a cozy, relaxed atmosphere in which everyone enjoyed themselves. In the evening, the party continued in a perfectly organized setting. The decorations were beautiful, the staff incredibly friendly and helpful, and everything - from music to catering - went smoothly. We were able to fully focus on enjoying the day and being together with our loved ones. De Theetuin is a versatile and hospitable location that really contributed to an unforgettable wedding day. We can recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful place with an eye for detail and personal service!

I sent this to my girlfriends Hi ladies, I really want to share this with you yesterday with nephew, niece and entourage to the Theetuin in Rijsoord / Ridderkerk was really great had my reservations because Diner Bites is 42.95 pp I thought we'll see, first we bowled for an hour was hilarious but nice drank mocktail and threw a Stike too 🤣 then we had a table for 2 hours 😯 great choice it works like this: starter, main course, dessert and side dishes per round you can order two dishes no matter which category and number of rounds unlimited was full to the brim 😅 all had non-alcoholic drinks and coffee 69.00 euros pp including bowling but even more important the staff was more than enough present and all with a big smile and polite you can also play mini golf there and if you have an allergy which was the case with us then they really have a great solution for that, long story but is really recommended.😋

The concept with a QR code your food (small snacks) causes a lot of unrest, 1 person is constantly ordering on his phone, and the waitresses then constantly bring the snacks. Quietly enjoying your food is not possible. This concept must suit you otherwise you will get annoyed

Nice place to go for a meal or drinks or even bowling with friends or family. The dining concept consists of small snacks that you can order per 2 pieces and unlimited. Excellent quality and nice, smooth operation. The birthday boy or girl is surprised with a nice gift. Highly recommended.

A very nice cafe-restaurant located right on the canal. A great place for a short stop for coffee and delicious banana cake on a bicycle route to or from Rotterdam. Nice service.

Enjoy the beautiful winter sun on the terrace of the tea garden. It's a pity that the terrace on the water was renovated so that it was not possible to sit here. Due to previous good experiences, we opted for pancake with bacon and a refreshing fruit smoothie. Specially informed the waiter that the pancake had to be thoroughly fried. To our regret this did not happen or happen. This was passed on to management. She said that this was due to the crowds, which we believe should never be an excuse. No more pancakes at the tea garden for the time being

Very suitable for birthday parties. Bowling, brunch. Order mini snacks via your phone (QR) Which are all pretty good. Had a nice lunch in tapas style. The dishes were of excellent quality. The restaurant looks a bit dated. Otherwise great place.

We are very disappointed here. Everything is old. And that's okay. But much of it is worn and broken. It is also very messy and dirty. The staff also wears shabby clothes. Corporate clothing is not an unnecessary luxury!

Just an hour of bowling with the kids... what a poor and neglected mess. Stuff is everywhere, balls are almost no longer round and benches are broken

The service is excellent, but the shared dining dishes are really substandard. With many dishes you just notice that they come straight from the freezer or something like that. come. For example, apple pie was very wet, steak fully cooked, a strip of ham thrown into a container with sauce on it, a cold brownie... Very disappointing for the money you pay. The restaurant itself and the location are beautiful.
