Dé Wieëtsjaf in Wijk 01 Kerkrade-Oost

It was our first visit and we certainly want more. Excellent food and drink. The beer lover may think he has found beer heaven and that is true. Many specialty beers (also wines) that can be viewed in a nice cooled room (see video) in the middle of the restaurant. Then point to what you want to drink and a moment later the bottle is on the table. The young lady who helped us was also very friendly and nowadays that is quite special in the catering industry. In addition, every first Monday of the month they have a beer tasting (free entry) where a brewery promotes its beers. Haven't tried it yet, but I will definitely do it soon.

Large range of specialty beers, with the highlight being "Beer Monday" every first Monday of the month. Menu (dinner) is somewhat limited but the food is excellent!

This is hospitality, combined with really tasty food! The two of us spent just over €100, including drinks.

We had a delicious meal (pork tenderloin satay and pasta scampi) in a cozy atmosphere. The staff are friendly and very hospitable. We received some tips about fun things to do in the area. If you like specialty beer, this is definitely recommended, they have a walk-in refrigerator where you can choose your own beer.

Had a delicious meal with my wife. There is a nice, warm atmosphere so you can eat in peace and at your leisure. The food is really delicious and the price is very good. Very nice modern atmospheric restaurant. Discovered by chance after a day at the discovery museum. Delicious good food. Very friendly staff. The manager knows a lot about special beer and gives good advice. Mega beer menu. And for the kids a delicious children's menu, no children's ice cream on the menu but a very nice penguin ice cream with a surprise in it after departure. Recommended!

One of the better places in Kerkrade Center to have a bite to eat, a drink or just have a nice time together in a nice atmosphere.

First of all, what a beautiful thing! We had lunch here with 7 people, but the service was a bit slow, drinks were empty but there was no one around so we could order new ones, so it took a while. Then some things would be checked in the kitchen because my little niece doesn't like poffertjes, which come ready-made from a bag from the microwave, but we were told that they were freshly made (this would be checked just to be sure). We did not receive any feedback, but unfortunately we did receive the ready-made poffertjes from the microwave, which of course was not eaten. They also forgot my friend's dish, but they did have a portion of fries (we had not ordered) so we just said put the fries down because otherwise it would be a shame. When we finally finished eating, my friend's dish came out of the kitchen, which was not very pleasant of course. When we spoke to the waiter about the poffertjes and the food, we were told sorry that it was my mistake and he immediately walked away. When we finally paid, we saw that everything was on the bill (poffertjes, portion of fries). A bit of a shame as these were not our mistakes. The rest of the food was very tasty and nicely served, but because of the service we will not be back anytime soon.

Had a fantastic evening at the Wieëtsjaf with my wife! The restaurant had a cozy, lively atmosphere with a pleasant buzz that added to the ambiance. I started with a main course of tender beef tenderloin, perfectly prepared and served with a spicy creamy pepper cream sauce that had just the right kick. The side dishes - a creamy puree with fresh spring onions and seasonal vegetables - complemented the meat excellently. The absolute highlight was the dessert 'Wieëtsjaf finest'. A true composition of sweet indulgence with different textures and flavors: a refined strawberry bavarois, a silky panna cotta of raspberry and white chocolate, and a creamy cheesecake cream. The blueberry ice cream in combination with the surprising Mort Subite dressing, fresh citrus gel and crunchy raspberry crumble completed the dish. The extensive selection of specialty beers was impressive and offered something for everyone. The staff was skilled in recommending the right beers for my dish. All in all a great experience that is definitely worth repeating. For those who enjoy high-quality food in a cozy setting, the Wieëtsjaf is an absolute must!

Inside you can look into the basement through a glass floor. You will then see a copper barrel. Interesting.. Delicious meal with great company. Enjoyed.

The dishes were delicate and very wholesome. Even if the pasta with scampi was served as a salad with scampi. In anticipation that one of the two espressos might be served over the counter free of charge, we also gave a generous tip. This ultimately proved to be a mistake. There were two peppermint flavored clot stones as a comfort food.

It was a private party for about 35 to 40 people with buffet food. Something for everyone. The food was good. There was no money spent on it as it was an invitation to a party

It's always like this: one person thinks it's fantastic and the other doesn't like it at all. Just try it, but I warn you about cold food, little food for a lot of money and you get an ordered drink when the food is almost gone. The cheese board turns out to be a large board with some dollops of cheese. 10.50!!!! Euro. I feel cheated. They have a margin of 9.50 euros on that shelf. Insane. This way I can also do business.

Took a very long time to get the food. Tomato soup lukewarm and watery croquette and bouncer were also not warm. Soup in a clumsy jar where the spoon barely fits.

Nice spacious place, friendly but understaffed staff. We had to wait over 1.5 hours for our lunch. An apology was offered with a drink, that is. Lunch board nicely presented. Unfortunately, the hot dishes were all cold. We'll skip this next time

In one word: FANTASTIC! We were here with the in-laws, grandmother and our daughter, no question was too crazy. The atmosphere and ambience were pleasant, the food was tasty and good beyond expectations. There was enough choice on the menu, but not an excess of choices and there was something for everyone, so our table each ordered a different dish from the menu and we were able to taste a little together for next time 😉 We will come back here more often!

Incredibly delicious spareribs! The spareribs at the current location are just as delicious as before. Spareribs with Whiskey sauce highly recommended. Also many tasty beers on tap and barrel. Had a pastry stout for the first time ever on recommendation.

Ate here with colleagues. Coincidentally, there was a new card that evening. Thought it was nice for the price. Colleagues who had arranged it had previously been there to discuss it and the price list was considerably lower. Furthermore, which was not previously discussed, you cannot eat all-cart for a group of 10 or more people. Coincidentally, a colleague of ours was ill that evening, otherwise there would be ten of us. It was a pleasant evening, but I wouldn't repeat it.

Went by for a bachelor party with a group of women for a beer tasting with snacks. It was really fun. Very well cared for. Special beers and above all a super nice host.

It's great that you can put together a lunch board yourself. You can choose from many options and they are not economical in terms of toppings and layout. If you want another sauce, this is no problem. Delicious food, good service and a beautifully decorated place!

Nicely renovated. A bit dark. Service is friendly but definitely not alert. Had to wait a long time. After a drink no one came anymore. We left after 1 hour. This happens often here. Shame.

What an unpleasant thing this is. 0.0 atmosphere. Have been there New Year's Day. It doesn't exude any conviviality. It is a dark matter. No more. And those fifth-rate bands are playing there. Well my children can sing even better

Here for the first time. Group of 4 people, eat out before visiting the theater between 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM. The food was fine, the venison steak was just forgotten to add salt, very bland. Unfortunately there is no salt on the table either. Management is correct and does its best. The restaurant is quite large, which compromises the atmosphere somewhat, not suitable for romantic dining, more for with friends or a group. Menu options were wide, price range reasonable.

The food was of good quality. The service was fine, except for the fact the desert took a pretty long time to be served and we weren't asked for new drinks while the glasses were empty. While the other people at the table got their (desert)coffee served and finished it, it took another 5-10 minutes to get the desert. The atmosphere is good for the audience they try to attract.

We hadden een shared dinner inclusief drank; het eten was ok (tagliatelle met vis, scampi’s & champignons - rare combi, maar wel ok), friet, zoervleisj, salade met onbegrepen rauwe ham, spareribs… kwaliteit is ok, maar (te) duur; spareribs… kom op: dat kan beter!

Leuk restaurant, vriendelijk personeel, prima eten, maar ook super goedkoop terwijl je wel veel krijgt, dit was erg fijn! Ik vond het concept van de soort van bierwinkel in het restaurant ook erg leuk bedacht. Alleen was het niet heel sfeervol, hiervoor de ster aftrek. Wij zouden wel zeker terugkomen!

Met de familie met 2 kids gaan eten. Uitgebreide kaart voor zowel jong als oud. Heerlijke voorgerechten, carpaccio en soepjes. Daarna ossenhaas en saté van varkenshaas. De ossenhaasjes waren lekker en allemaal de garing zoals gevraagd. De varkenshaas saté zou ook medium zijn maar deze was helaas helemaal doorbakken en wat droog. Wel super lekkere frietjes en garnituren erbij. Voor de kids ook lekker en leuk aangekleed. Dessert hadden we een coupé Romanov. Deze vond ik zelf wat aan de karige kant voor het geld maar was wel heel lekker. Overall prijs en kwaliteit verhouding goed. Personeel was ook heel vriendelijk. Het eten zelf duurde wel wat lang, vooral gezien het feit dat wij een van de eerste tafels binnen waren. Meerdere malen voor een kaart of andere zaken moeten vragen. Ze hadden meer geld kunnen verdienen aan het drinken als ze vaker waren komen vragen. Sfeer is super! Heel leuk ingericht. Zeer zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Tom organiseerde voor ons een bierproeverij met 5 verschillende speciaalbieren uit België. Bij ieder bier werd een bijpassend gerecht geserveerd. De smaken vulden elkaar perfect aan. Het was een ware culinaire beleving in een zeer gezellig café.

ich war mit Freunden dort essen. Die Bedienung ignorierte uns vorerst, Getranke kamen schnell, Das essen nicht. Dazu kam das Bedienung zwei Bestellung "Vergessen" hatte ! die Wartezeit wurde von sehr lautstarke Diskussionen, Ein Vereins und ein bier Trinkern Gruppe untermalt, Die keine Rücksicht auf andere Kunden nahmen.

Geweldig.... Je loopt de koeling in om, uit het ruime assortiment, je biertje te kiezen. Geweldig.

Heerlijk gegeten. Zuurvlees, hamburger en risotto waren allemaal heerlijk en bediening was erg aardig, meedenkend en super vriendelijk.

Wir waren hier zum Beer Tasting. Es hat uns außerordentlich gut gefallen. Zum jeweiligen Bier gab es einen passenden Snack. Auch alkoholfreie Biere konnten verkostet werden. Alles war super aufeinander abgestimmt, und wir wurden sehr freundlich bedient.

Geweldig eten en leuke ontspannen sfeer. Personeel en bediening is zeer goed. Mogen jullie trots op zijn!! Houden zo!!

De lekkerste spareribs in de hele buurt. Trouwens alles wat op de menukaart staat is lekker. Heb al veel uitgeprobeerd en blijf zeker hier terug komen.
