Had a delicious meal at De Wildebras! De Wildebras is one of the food and beverage outlets in Apenheul where you can eat or drink both indoors and outdoors. Because the weather was nice, we enjoyed sitting outside. I had a healthy sandwich and an organic apple juice; the quality of the sandwich was good and the juice was delicious. It might be a bit pricey, but that is actually always the case in zoos or amusement parks. The system is simple: you order at the counter and after paying, you receive your order immediately. A big plus is the playground next to the restaurant. This way, the children can play happily while the parents enjoy a drink or a meal on the terrace.

Good quality food, though pricey! Staff friendly, but everything takes a very long time. The workflow is very illogical!

As soon as we arrived, there was a problem with the customer, which meant we had to wait an awfully long time to be served. After a while, the staff opened the cash register, and I placed my order. However, after paying, I was told the burgers were no longer available and had to be refunded. Furthermore, several staff members were standing around doing nothing, which is probably partly why the fries were lukewarm and sometimes even cold. Utterly disappointing.

Very busy and chaotic during lunchtime. Only one vegetarian option (a salad). The other sandwiches are sparsely filled, but pricey.

Everything we ordered was already done and just needed to be put on a plate. We waited for our food for about 20 minutes. 5 other orders were made before ours, even though we ordered before them. The food was bad for the price. Even worse than expected from a park food stand. Just go somewhere else

Tasty salad and large portion of fries. Fries are fried gluten-free, salad can be made gluten-free. No gluten-free bread unfortunately.

The place isn't heated, the service is very slow and not the best. The fries and waffles are okay to good, but you can skip the rest.

I have seen toilets behind Amsterdam Central Station that are cleaner

Waited an hour for 4 fries and 2 croquette sandwiches. I understand that it is busy due to Ascension Day, but it really shouldn't take that long. There was also no logic whatsoever in the layout of the restaurant. 4 doors are open and everyone is standing here and there together. It is therefore not clear who was waiting for the food and who still had to order. In addition, it was also very pricey. €4.00 for fries and €0.85 for a small bag of sauce. Very expensive. The food tasted okay, but due to the extremely long wait, everyone was a bit fed up with it.

Expensive catering, fries without sauce 4.25 and 5 chicken nuggets also available at a reasonable price. My wife was not satisfied with the hygiene of the toilet and decided not to use it. Today due to the weather it was not even busy in the park.

Rude. Expectations are not high in amusement parks and zoos, but this beats everything. €6.95 for something that could pass for a salmon sandwich. Go for the snacks, stay away from the sandwiches
