Friday evening June 27, 2025 a wedding party in the characteristic hall, with chandeliers and steps. Super friendly service, constantly walking around with drinks and snacks. Hall was super decorated and atmosphere was great A real recommendation if you have something to celebrate!!!

De Wildeman organised a wonderful wedding party for us, everything, absolutely everything, was arranged down to the last detail by owners Alex and Linda and their staff. The food was really perfectly prepared and very, very good, the service was also TOP, they kept coming and going and new drinks were constantly brought and delicious snacks were offered in between. They are highly recommended to us and give value for money. Alex and Linda plus staff, thank you for this wonderful evening.

Super cozy place to meet if you want to have a nice drink somewhere. Staff and owners are very friendly and customer-oriented. They also organize something fun regularly. Top tent.

Had lunch here this week. Cozy tent, lots of old people inside which is very cozy. Staff is friendly and helpful and the lunch was also tasty. The atmosphere of the building is also nice, a bit old brown cafe-like, only with a red ceiling. If I'm in Santpoort again and I want to have lunch, I'll know.

Wonderful place to have a nice lunch, have a quiet chat and enjoy the atmosphere, both inside and outside. Super friendly staff and delicious dishes on the menu. Homely atmosphere. For us, who live in Portugal, it felt like home again in Santpoort. Really recommended.

I had a birthday party here for someone who was turning 60. The room looks very beautiful. Very chic look too. The service and snacks were top notch. You never ran out and they walk around with drinks, so you don't even have to go to the bar yourself. I am considering using this location myself.

I keep coming back for the club sandwich. Highly recommended!

Relax on the terrace in the evening. It's just a shame that there are still guests who have to snap their fingers to get something ordered. The hard-working and pleasant service does not need this. Disrespect.

An English-language review for non-Dutch speakers looking for places outside of Amsterdam to visit or already in Santpoort: De Wildeman is a MUST-VISIT pub - it's got: - an atmosphere that's somehow cozy & welcoming and wide-open & comfortably spacious, - an excellent drinks selection served by an exceptionally friendly & attentive staff, which is complemented by Santpoort's lovely & lively locals, - a brilliant attitude & support for showing sports - the whole place lights up with a positive & fun energy without overwhelming the whole place or creating an unwelcoming atmosphere, unlike many places I've visited (I don't even follow any sports, but my first time there on match-day, I expected to spend my time tucked away from the action (which I could have easily & happily done), but the vibe was so great that I couldn't resist and got involved with the locals enjoying it, despite knowing nothing! The cherry-on-top is the adjoining hall where, if you time it right, you can catch some proper concerts & really great music right up-close and personal! I'm actually planning to spend a fair bit of my next visit to Holland in Santpoort, almost exclusively because of De Wildeman & the people I met there! Big shout-out to Enrico for recommending this place to me - the least I can do in return is recommend it to anyone reading this review! Visit Santpoort, start at De Wildeman, check out the lovely town, food & people - and then go back to De Wildeman to finish it all off! 10/10

Ouderwets gezellig kroeg gevoel! lekker vol met mensen en groot scherm voor de voetbalfans op zondag. Relaxed personeel ondanks de drukte. Muziek er doorheen helemaal top.

Was op een feestje in de zaal. Wat een gastvrijheid, goede bediening die direct lege glazen weghaalt en vraagt of je nog een drankje wil en volledig pakket aanbiedt met drank, hapjes en desgewenst zelfst thema feestdecoratie inricht waardoor je volledig ontlast wordt. Toptent, kan niet anders zeggen

Gezellig en leuke mensen. Goede drankkaart en veel keuze. Personeel zeer aardig en vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Heerlijk op het uitgebreide terras in de zon gezeten.

eten weet ik niet, denk niet dat er een echte keuken is. Verder gewoon een dorpskroeg met groot tv-scherm, biljart tafel etc. bierkaart gemiddeld, prijzen ook. Dus verder niets ye melden

Goede bediening, gezellige tent, lekker eten maar.... dat duurde wel echt heel erg lang, als in ruim een uur. Maar verder toppie

Als je een pallet wil leveren ben je hier aan het goede adres. Je krijgt een colaatje. Er werd ook gebiljart, maar het niveau was niet bijster hoog. Geeft niets! Een welverdiende vijf sterren.

Goede en snelle vriendelijke bediening. Lekkere kwekkeboom kroketten

Wat een heerlijke Latte macchiato echt een topper 5* en de lunch broodje tonijn en warme brie was ook aan te raden. Net zoals de vers geperste jus de oranje.
