Lovely and friendly staff, and the best coffee in the Netherlands 🇳🇱

Nice coffee shop with an extensive range. Always fun and enjoyable to spend some time there. I regularly came here after exercising in the area and I miss them now that I exercise somewhere else 🥲

High tea was fantastic, everything was fresh, no frozen pastries or sandwiches. Delicious. Would love to come back here again

Today I came here to get a flat white. When I got the coffee the milk was BOILING hot and I could hardly even touch my cup. I asked if it was possible to get a new one, because I pay €4.35 for a (hopefully) good coffee. Her answer was 'No, this is the way we make coffee', I was completely surprised because what I do know about good coffee is that you froth the milk until it reaches boiling point. The girl behind the counter said to her boss 'don't give new ones' I stood there in disbelief and was amazed at how unfriendly and passionless you made coffee. But only €4.35!! Ask for a coffee. In the end I stuck to my guns and got a new coffee, but it too was frothed up as if it were soapy water. I would advise you to first take a barista course before opening a coffee shop.

Lekker coffee and delicious appeltaart. Just from the oven. The toilet is clean and big. They have kids corner, so feel free to enjoy coffee with your young kids here. Prices are reasonable. Parking is easy and free. They serve breakfast too.

I can't comment on the food, as I only had two coffees. Quaint coffee and nibbles restaurant in Ijmuiden, which all of the people visiting the Netherlands from the UK miss, as they all get the coach to Amsterdam. The coffee was delicious, and I could understand the menu (not a Dutch speaker). I would say it's a good place for the locals to meet and chat and relax.

Geweldig mooi aangekleed pand, heel sfeervol met een hele vriendelijke eigenaresse. Heerlijk vers eten en heerlijke koffie. Dikke aanrader. De perfecte afsluiter na een weekendje Newcastle.

Calm relaxing cafe, lovely shabby chic decor. Best chai latte and Omas warm apple pie with cream.

Great little cafe next to IJmuiden port. We stopped for a toasted sandwich, a coffee and a chai latte. All delicious and just what was needed after the crossing. Lovely staff and a very relaxed atmosphere.

THE HARBOUR HIGH TEA The Habour is gelegen in de havenstad IJmuiden, waar het Noordzeekanaal via sluizen met de Noordzee verbonden is. Bij the Harbour maken ze alles zelf. Verder is alles vers uit eigen keuken. Ben je de thee een beetje zat? Dan zetten zij met een liefde een kopje koffie voor je! The Harbour High tea is een uitgebreide proeverij en bestaat uit fijne theetjes, huisgemaakt broodjes, en heerlijke zoete verwennerij met variaties van hartige en zoete hapjes. De sfeer was gezellig en het draait in ieder geval allemaal om samen rustig genieten, lekker te eten en gezellig bijpraten. Dit is zeker een aanrader 👍🏼 #deproefblogger

Sehr nettes Café. Ideal für einen kurzen Stopp vor oder nach der Fährüberfahrt nach England. Sehr guter Kaffee, freundlicher Service. Ausreichend Platz und Kinderspielecke. Kuchen kann ich nicht beurteilen, hatte ich keinen.

Como seu nome indica The Harbour, Porto de abrigo, onde reina a tranquilidade para desfrutar na companhia de amigos ou mesmo só. Como complemento a simpatia no atendimento. Recomendo. 👌

Very unreliable opening hours. In the afternoon chances are they're closed. Happened to us several times. And when they're open don't just order a coffee, espresso or cappuccino, always say what size you want, because otherwise they'll give you the largest and most expensive one.

Bevor man die Fähre nimmt um nach Newcastle sollte man ein Stopp hier machen! Leckeren Apfelkuchen und guter Café! Was braucht man mehr!

Relaxte sfeer en comfortabele stoelen/banken. We hebben van onze koffie met appelgebak genoten in de mooie zithoek bij het raam.

I find the coffee very bitter, which in my opinion (as a beginner barista) is from too hot water and/or too long brewing, also in my opinion very expensive. The vibes are good and they have plantbased milk but yeah, coffe is bitter, not nice at all.
