We wanted to eat here. We ordered drinks and asked if we could take a quick look before eating. When we wanted to place our order, she said the kitchen was closed. Even though we had indicated we wanted to eat something. Extremely unfriendly service. Now we are forced to only order drinks here.

Sit down here for a drink and a small bite to eat. No hello, indicated that we just wanted to look for something to eat while ordering drinks. Made a choice 3 minutes later, and the unfriendly waitress came over to tell us that the kitchen was closed. Unfriendly, lack of service. If I could, I would give 0 stars.

I received my food half an hour later and 2 other people still have to get theirs. It is taking a very long time and I am already finished. We were given drinks and they didn't come to ask for the food.

What a rubbish place. We sat on a terrace this afternoon and ordered a half-liter of non-alcoholic beer for €5.75, but you get a 0.25 cl bottle and still had to pay €5.75. We were told to keep our mouths shut because she was going to explain it to us. Even though the menu says non-alcoholic wheat beer 0.5l for €5.75. We said something about it, well, she thought she was right, and she told us to get lost and never come back! What an unfriendly manager or owner that is.

What an unfriendly manager; we had ordered a beer and a 0.5L wheat non-alcoholic beer for 5.75, but we received a 0.25 cl bottle and still had to pay €5.75. We wanted to know why, but were immediately given a rude speech by her; we had to be quiet, and she wanted to explain. Afterwards, she told us to get lost and never come back.

The food was good, but the atmosphere wasn't really there... no music in the tent and you could hear a pin drop on the floor!

I would have fired her on the spot.... An environment to avoid......... The food seemed excellent... But we got up and left.....

We have eaten at Délifrance several times before and were always satisfied, but after yesterday, this was the last time we visited Délifrance Heerlen!! Due to the annual fair, it was very busy, and we already knew we would have to wait a long time. After 50 minutes, we asked how long it would take. People who came in after us were already eating. The young man said he would go and check, but he never came back?! 10 minutes later, another gentleman went to check and said it would be ready in 5 minutes. (By then, two new tables were eating again.) For another 10 minutes, we decided to go to the cashier to pay for our drinks and not wait for the sandwiches any longer. The lady we paid was very rude. She branded us liars in a crowded place and said it was unacceptable that we had had to wait so long!! To top it all off, she yelled at the two cooks to just throw our sandwiches away. They both confirmed that they hadn't received an order for our table, and that no sandwiches had been made at all!! In another establishment, you wouldn't have to pay for the drinks as a gesture of goodwill, and here you get made a fool of by a loud-mouthed waitress......

Today we wanted to have coffee on the terrace, but we were told they weren't taking any more orders because it was packed. Half the terrace was empty...

Very bad owner, completely unfriendly and unappealing, finds working the cash register more important than welcoming customers. Even inside the establishment there is no or too little staff, and the same goes for the terrace. It is better to avoid this place. On the other hand, at the neighbor across the street, where it is also busy, you were welcomed right at the door and directed to a nice spot. Delifrance in Heerlen could take a leaf out of their book. My motto is pure and simple: "Selling no means never selling anything to me again."

The place is getting worse and worse. Stale lettuce, pizza taco buns always dry and overcooked. Prices have increased absurdly. It is no longer appealing to eat here. And then there is the worn-out interior.

We had booked breakfast via Social Deal. It was a bit disappointing. The croissant was cold. It was really just a small orange juice, but otherwise it was okay. The staff was also friendly.

I used to come here regularly for my lunch :) . And for breakfast. But lately, I’ve noticed that when it’s busy, the waitstaff falls short. I’ve experienced it at least once too many times now: just sitting there for half an hour without anyone coming to take my order. If you do get served, your drink is with you within 1 minute, but your food takes 30 minutes. New guests arriving later are served sooner, and guests on the outdoor terrace, it seems. The sandwiches and such are always of good quality, always tasty, and in my opinion, fresh. The portions are also always sufficient.

We've eaten here often and always had to wait for our food, which was usually fine in the end. This time, however, we had to wait 1.5 hours. Eventually, we asked where our food was. We were yelled at by the waitress that we either had to wait or just leave and pay for the drinks because she had no staff. Great! I will never eat here again, which we didn't even end up doing anyway! ... and if this lady treats her staff like this too, it's pretty clear they aren't there! ... very rude lady!

Went here for lunch this afternoon. Unfortunately, it is no longer what it used to be. There is a lady working here with long black hair. She is really not friendly to customers. We sat close to the bar and the man behind the bar preparing the drinks was constantly getting the full brunt of her anger. If there are problems, discuss them so the customers are aware of them; this is simply unacceptable!!! The price-quality ratio is also no longer okay.

What a wonderful experience at Deli France in Heerlen! We are incredibly grateful that we were allowed to film a French video here; we were even allowed to film in the kitchen. The staff was super hospitable and really went the extra mile for us. The atmosphere is cozy and warm. Highly recommended!

We ordered two sandwiches from Délifrance today, including an extra bottle of sauce. At 12:10 PM, I called because the order wasn't complete. I was told to call back later. I did, and was told it would be delivered within fifteen minutes. I then called again around 4:18 PM. Dave said it had already been delivered, while I heard a colleague in the background saying it hadn't. It's now 4:30 PM, and we still haven't received our complete order. This is very disappointing. The communication is unclear, and the service is unfortunately lacking. It's a shame, because you expect an order to be complete and delivered on time. Hopefully, this will be taken seriously. This has happened several times before, but we didn't take any action.

Had lunch yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. The quality has improved significantly compared to years ago. Unfortunately, we don't come to Heerlen much anymore, but as soon as we're back, we'll definitely be back for lunch!😍

We come here at least 3 or 4 times a month. When it's busy, they become increasingly unfriendly. They turn away one person at a table for 4, but they don't even bother taking the order. If the gentleman says anything, we just turn our backs on the customer. What a friendly young man! After waiting 35 minutes, we still hadn't received our toasted sandwiches the last time, as there's no improvement.

Sadly, this was the first and last time I ordered from here. The panini was incredibly dry, and the cheese hadn't even melted a bit. I also missed the tomato. And that's not to mention the long delivery time!

This afternoon we went to eat frikkendel and fries, the frikkendel where often heard fried and indicated but was not really taken seriously, got new and where the same, the croquette where not very warm lukewarm

What a lovely, large terrace and delicious sandwiches. The coffee (cappuccino) was excellent and the service was okay. Very clean restrooms and cozy lighting inside...Great place! We had another delicious meal recently, and it's impressive that the quality has remained largely the same after the change of ownership. Of course, a few things still need to be refined, but we love coming back because the food remains simply delicious. One small note: the special deli sauce, which we always came for, tastes a bit different now than it used to. We hope they bring back the original recipe, because that sauce really made it complete for us. Two stars down...

It's not what it used to be. I used to come here often when the owner was there (before the previous owner). The breakfasts were also super delicious and fresh back then. It's a shame that after all these years, it's only gone downhill.

I ordered breakfast and asked if oat milk was available. "Yes," was the answer, and then I ordered an oat milk cappuccino. The cappuccino that arrived was a regular coffee with a splash of oat milk. Not a cappuccino at all. I mentioned this immediately upon arrival and was told, "Yes, sir, this is oat milk, I can't make anything more of it." I tried the coffee anyway, but it was really bad. When clearing the table, I was asked if everything was to my liking. I again explained that the coffee was really bad. I was told again that the oat milk couldn't be frothed. Which is nonsense, of course, because I haven't drunk cow's milk in years, but I've never had a cappuccino like that. She then said that Deli Deluxe isn't a coffee shop and their machine can't make anything else. It's a shame that when ordering, they didn't honestly state that an oat milk cappuccino wasn't available. That would have given me the opportunity to order something else. And in 2025, it's strange that a lunch restaurant doesn't have the option of serving a milk-substitute cappuccino. The food was excellent and served quickly. The interior was really worn. Almost the entire leather layer of the sofa had worn off. All in all, it felt like a faded glory. It's a shame, but I won't be going back.

We went back today after years. New owner running the place himself, and you can tell right away. Very friendly, and despite the small staff, we didn't have to wait long. We really enjoyed it. What a difference from before. We'll definitely be back!

We ordered two sandwiches and drinks here. We got our drinks right away, but we had to wait 45 minutes for both sandwiches. After 20 minutes, we inquired because we thought our order had been forgotten. After 45 minutes, we left without eating. Then we also had to pay for our drinks. A compromise would have been nice for the long wait.

We wanted to grab a sandwich at Deli for lunch in the afternoon. Drinks arrived after just two minutes. However, the sandwiches didn't arrive. After 20 minutes, we asked if the order had gone through correctly, and the manager confirmed it had. After waiting 50 minutes, we got up and told him it was taking far too long. The manager didn't seem bothered. He immediately started talking about paying for the drinks. We did so reluctantly. I'll definitely never go back here again. Terrible service!

After waiting almost 45 minutes, asking if the order had been processed correctly, and being told it had, we still hadn't received any food or drinks. Everyone around us received everything within a few minutes. The owner prioritized checking his phone and adjusting the parasol, so one employee simply brushed us off. Luckily, another one was around to check in and immediately bring us coffee. He also told us the sandwiches were almost ready. If I had come with 30 or more people, I understand it taking a long time. But if you just order two regular sandwiches and everyone around you gets the same kind of sandwiches delivered within a few minutes, well, sorry, but that's not good. Once the sandwiches were delivered, part of the order was also wrong. But since we had to wait so long, I just let it go. It's the last time I'll be here.

We had lunch here yesterday (Saturday). We received a friendly welcome. It was quite busy, but luckily we didn't have to wait long. The staff worked well together. Ordered a delicious Hot Thai Chicken sandwich (large). The flavor was good, and the honey mustard sauce made it perfect. Some of the chicken was a bit translucent, just barely cooked through, and the chunks were quite large. Personally, I'd prefer it cut a bit smaller and cooked through a bit more. Otherwise, a great experience!

For years, this was our regular spot when visiting the city. I love the crab salad sandwich (the white one they used to have), but it was often not there at the end. When I walk past now, it always smells burnt; I don't understand why they're even trying to do anything about it. It's not exactly inviting when you walk through the revolving doors into the shopping center, is it? It's actually quite off-putting. They're undoubtedly still just as friendly and delicious, but if you order something from the menu, or if they offer more than just the usual items, or something completely different (pink crab salad/too sweet), it can unfortunately happen that a regular person and their staff disappear, and so do the others. We always went for breakfast because they had it all day long, and then they also stopped serving the delicious herb butter that made them stand out from the rest of the breakfast menu. You have to look for the meat on the sandwich. If you order a tender chicken sandwich, you get a lettuce sandwich.

The way the owner treats her own employees is truly shameless. She should be ashamed of herself, she just points her finger at them and yells at them. I left my food there and left, it's truly shameless. The employees were around 16/17 years old and she showed no respect whatsoever. The previous owner was really great!

Since the new owners took over, things have gone downhill. The toppings on the sandwiches are less plentiful, and almost every order is misplaced. The owner, the husband, is very friendly. Unfortunately, the wife isn't. So far, every time I've been there, I've seen her yelling at the staff in the middle of the patio (girls around 15 years old). It's a real shame, and I felt truly sorry for it. It's also the reason I no longer go there.

We used to love coming here. We often ordered the same thing. But recently, everything has changed. The onion soup tasted nothing like the usual onion soup. Bay leaves in both soups? The rolls weren't baked properly. So much lettuce that the deli sauce became very watery. They forgot things that you have to ask for twice. Such a shame. For years, I've been ordering the Mexican baguette with bread and spicy ground beef. But last time, it was inedible. The bread was limp, as if it hadn't been in the oven. The ground beef is supposed to be spicy, but it was inedible... I returned it after a few bites. I didn't have to pay for it, but what a disappointment. I don't think we'll be going back.

Chai latte vanilla which we have had 100x was now a glass of warm milk (was snow white from head to toe). Discussion that it is still good, but we can exchange. Then another employee starts discussing the chai latte vanilla again which had already been dealt with, we ordered the wrong one ourselves according to the employee. Also repeat everything 3x. Would like 1 large white club sandwich. In response: white or brown? Large or small? This with both sandwiches. Coffee also indicated 3x and afterwards still without sweeteners. Seems like they don't listen to the customer at all. Also the idea that it is getting worse and worse. Sandwich seems to be smaller every time… less richly filled… less lettuce. All in all, unfortunately the last time for us, it has not improved in our experience, I will spend the vitknip elsewhere. After repeating everything 3 times and returning/exchanging it several times, it was still tasty fortunately…

We were always satisfied when the previous owner was still there. Now the business is called Deli de luxe instead of Delifrance. It has gotten a lot worse... the bacon and egg sandwich was so dry... cold and no taste at all. I think they are ready and when the customer orders, cheese is put on top and then put under the grill. The café bomba was not known at first... explained what was in it but gosh it was not at all like it normally was. We left everything because it really was not tasty. Almost 25 euros poorer..... No longer a business to recommend.

Hygiene is hard to find in this place. The sandwiches are made without gloves, after cash has been accepted and all other possible things in the kitchen have been touched. Gloves are not put on, not even on request. I have not seen them wash their hands once. Clearly I turned around and went to Goyas opposite.

We always liked to come here for a nice sandwich or coffee but today we had an unpleasant experience. When paying, the employee indicated that the payment had not been successful due to insufficient balance. I indicated that I had seen that the payment had indeed been made but the gentleman indicated that my daughter could perhaps pay again. When I opened my bank account app to show that I had indeed paid, the gentleman said that it was just a joke. It did not come across as a joke and if it was, it was very inappropriate in a catering establishment. For us, enough reason not to come back.

Unfortunately I had a very bad experience today. Entry fine with a bad smell inside. Then ordered via the QR code and 30 minutes. Later I asked what was going on. Unfortunately the order was stuck somewhere and could not be found in the system, waitress enters the order manually and says it will arrive as soon as possible. We came here for breakfast more often and it was good then, but after a few months of not being here again, it turned out to be so bad. When you order breakfast you are told that you have run out of croissants 😕 and were given an extra sandwich. Breakfast only comes with cheese on the plate, so you have to ask for the ham and jam that should be included. Operation was very poor and things regularly dropped. The table is not cleared, you have to find someone to order. This was the last time we came.

When after 20 minutes and several calls (what had to be done with the button on the table) no staff had come by yet, we left. Not what we are used to from this business and very unfortunate.

Today I thought about giving it another try. Ordered one sandwich at the bar to take away. Two customers after my order will receive the order even sooner. Waiting 18 minutes for a cold sandwich. And the Christmas on the cake; you get a completely different sandwich than ordered. No regard for the customer whatsoever, unless you are of the opposite gender. Simply a star. We hadden gevraagd of een high tea ook mogelijk was om te reserveren. Meteen werd dit geregeld en was geen probleem. Goede communicatie en de eigenaar en het personeel waren super aardig en goede bediening. De gewone menukaart is ook prima en eten erg lekker. Kom er daardoor regelmatig terug.

Frikandelbroodje had been heated in the microwave, wrap was dry and not even folded. It was more of a burrito. We had ordered on the device outside, but this was apparently only for take away, even though this was not mentioned anywhere.

Ate a few times. Smooth and friendly staff. The restaurant is located in the Corio. Normal prices. When the weather is sunny, relax on the terrace. On 28.07.24 I had a cappuccino (large!) and apple strudel for the main prize. Bad operation. A mockery. Shame. Not worth repeating anymore.

Best vaak deze locatie bezocht om hier te eten. Op kleine puntjes na best tevreden geweest. Maar recentelijk hier gaan brunchen en wat we op de eerste plaats al aantroffen, kon echt niet. Overal om ons heen stond vuil serviesgoed, het rook niet al te fris in de zaak (logisch ook bij warm weer buiten als alles blijft staan). Ik zag dat de melk voor (waarschijnlijk) de iced cappuccino werd geschonken uit een kan waar je soep van kon koken. En als klapper op de vuurpijl kreeg ik een vuile kom waar mijn nacho’s in bereid waren. Toen ik de bodem zag van de kom schrok ik: er zaten gewoon resten salade in van een vorig gerecht! Dus ik had een vuile kom. Zowel in de zaak als buiten was het niet druk. Wij en nog een stel zaten als enige in de zaak en op het terras zaten ook niet veel mensen. De bediening stond onderling te flauwekullen met elkaar en nadat mijn vriendin maar liefst vier maal op de bel had gedrukt om wat te drinken te bestellen, kwam er eindelijk iemand aan. Diegene nam maar 1 gedeelte van het serviesgoed mee. Dus ik begrijp nu waarom er zoveel zooi blijft staan. In de tijd dat wij er zaten kwam 1 iemand zich beklagen de verkeerde bestelling te hebben gekregen. En een andere bezoekster beklaagde zich dat ze haar ice tea niet had gekregen. Iedereen kwam ook naar binnen om te betalen. Waarschijnlijk omdat de bediening het liet afweten. Op de vraag of ik een doekje voor een (zelfgemaakte) sausvlek kon krijgen kreeg ik een niet welriekend doekje aangereikt. Ik vind het heel jammer dat ik deze recensie moet schrijven maar ik hoop alleen dat er verbetering zal optreden. Als ik de recensies lees van de afgelopen jaren heb ik daar ook weinig vertrouwen in. Mij zul je in ieder geval hier niet meer zien.

First of all, the company has made real progress in the past year. The food is delicious and the choice of coffee is great. The gentlemen who work here wear a jacket while it is warm outside. Also gives you a bit of a lawyer atmosphere. All in all, a great place to have a nice lunch.

Had a nice experience again. Upon entering you are always greeted kindly by both management and waiting staff. Sandwiches are nicely prepared. The Brugse Beenham sandwich and the Smoothies are highly recommended! Generous portions.
