I’ve been here twice only 🙈hoping to go again soon . Honestly the owner is so down to earth and lovely . I’ve not once had a problem the times I have been there . Amazing food . I didn’t have to wait to long for my food . Even if I did it’s made fresh so I’d understand. Such a hardworking woman I have her on a few social platforms and you can just see how hardworking she is 👏🏾big kudos to you ! Amazing Ghanaian food 😍

Unbelievably rude to me as a delivery driver

Cozy restaurant with a warm atmosphere and excellent service. The food was fresh, tasty and nicely presented. We felt welcome from the first moment. Definitely a place to come back!

The restaurant is undeniably aesthetically pleasing — unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The menu descriptions are vague and at times misleading. For instance, a dish that came with a salad unexpectedly included a large dollop of mayonnaise, which wasn’t mentioned anywhere. More concerning, I ordered the “groundnut beef soup,” assuming it was a beef-focused dish. To my surprise, it contained fish and had a strong fish flavor — again, no mention of this on the menu. As someone who doesn’t eat seafood much, this was incredibly off-putting. When I brought it to the staff’s attention, their response was, “You should’ve asked if it had fish.” Honestly, who would think to question whether a beef dish with no mention of fish actually contains fish? As for the food itself, I’d give it a 1.5 out of 5. It lacked seasoning and depth of flavor. The one bright spot was the sauce served with the Jollof rice — it had a nice kick. Still, it wasn’t enough to redeem the overall experience. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant, nor would I return.

Was a recommendation from a friend after a busy sunny day of moving stuff to his new apartment. The service was excellent and the food taste great. Felt like I was in Ghana 😂. They also have Nigerian cousins as well. It a 10/10 recommendation.

Overall just a bad business, at least 1 hour to get your order, service is really bad, food is average, I really don't recommend it

REPLY: Sorry that your waiter is not being honest with you. You may kindly check your cameras for footage! I gave him my order straight up without even taking the menu book. Your camera will show that he's writing down unless you mean that he wrote down that "I WASN'T READY" which isn't part of the menu of course. If you so prefer, I can come so that we ask the waiter in your presence! Oh and sorry I took MALTA GUINESS not super malt. Does that mean your waiter's records could be wrong?? Taking the side of your waiter to make judgement implies that you don't even value me as your customer. Thank you for the apology but if you defend that you were not wrong then that is not necessary. It's unfortunate that there is no zero star review! I have never been so disappointed and felt insulted! I came all the way from den haag. I had my orders picked and it took almost 30 minutes to be served my drink...infact I had to notify the waiter whilst he seriously attended to priorised customers. Then I waited patiently for close to 2hours only for the waiter to come and inform me that they lost track of my orders so he would like to retake the orders and the food is yet to be prepared! what level of disrespect! What an insult and waste of time. I had to go eat elsewhere as I witnessed partiality in their client services. Some clients prioritised and others treated below sea level. Its all good! I most definitely will never recommend this place to anyone and don't intend ever visiting!

Delicious food and friendly, good service

We placed an order when we arrived and it took 30 minutes for someone to come and ask if your drinks are there. We had to place a new order for drinks. We sat there for another 1h30 and still no food. While people have come later and have already had their food. We asked where our food was, the only thing they could say was "it's coming" sorry, this is not acceptable and not recommended.

I was recommended to this place by a guy I Met in Amsterdam. Literally the BEST RICE & CHICKEN STEW I HAD IN MY LIKE OHHHHH MY GAWDDDDD! I could eat here everyday

You guys always seem to have an excuse or explanation for everything, and honestly, it's quite tiring. Anyway, I'll leave my review here anyway, because I just have to express my disappointment. I placed my order by telephone, but that was a drama in itself. The lady on the phone was clearly talking to someone else and could barely answer my two simple questions normally. What rudeness! Half an hour later I am in the store to pick up my order and what do I get? A sour look from the lady behind the counter, no proper greeting, nothing at all. Customer friendliness is really hard to find here. It seems like no one likes working there, which might explain why zero effort is made to treat customers decently. Do you even know that customers come back more often if they are treated kindly? Apparently not. After 45 minutes I finally received my food, which had been cooling for 10 minutes. The employee claimed she called me, but I didn't hear anything. Isn't it logical that you walk over to the customer? But no, that is of course too many steps. I've gotten food here before, but this time it was really worthless. The jollof was mushy and sticky, with hardly any flavor, and the chicken was just as bland. The kebab was so unbelievably dry that it was simply unbearable. Normally it's juicy and tender, but this time it was like chewing cardboard. In short, this was a very bad experience. A huge shame, because despite the lousy customer service, I always really liked the food here. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case.

I actually never post a review, but this was so bad that I had no other choice. Well here's my story Through social media I was very curious about fufu with beef. But seriously, I've never seen this in my life. We literally got big burnt pieces and that meat was so dry. Seriously, my dog ​​wouldn't eat this To be honest, I also find it scandalous that your so-called chef just sells this to us. Today is Today, i was waiting 4 years to eat a good Waakye, so my friend recommended me this restaurant! And it did not disappoint! I did not wait to long for my Food to arrive and the presentation was 10/10. I also took a Groundnut soup with fufu (take away) They will see me again, sooner than 4 years lol,

Honestly, 4 months ago food was good and somethings changed. Servers couldn’t be bothered, fish was cold, yam fries also cold and hard. Went from loving this restaurant to never wanting to go back.

Cannot be reached by phone after order was placed incorrectly. I order food here regularly. And today the quality is really less. Light soup has no flavor only pepper and oil. Groundnut Soup Beef has FISH in it, I'm allergic to fish. I come from far away for the African cuisine +/- 45 minutes drive. I'm very disappointed. And for the price you can complain, previously I had no complaints, I received a little bit of meat, but the taste was intensely good, which compensated for that.

Nice people but completely clueless about catering!

I've been hearing about this place for a while... And I finally wanted to experience for myself what exactly the hype is about Delish. What bad service they have here. If you want something you have to pay for it right away, instead of everything being paid for counted at the end as it is with every restaurant. And when you stand at the bar to order something, it takes so long before you get help. They see you waving but they pretend not to see you. While you have invested so much in a company in terms of spending.

The food is tasty, but ordering was difficult because the music was so loud that they can't hear your order, and you have to write it down. We were in a group and therefore ordered several dishes, one of which was forgotten. But having a nice chat with each other was really not an option, I left with a migraine due to the overstimulation, and someone else had also left earlier. The music was good but just way too loud for a restaurant. Dance club great for that

My girlfriend and I proudly went to eat African food at Delish. We drove a long way. My girlfriend is Ghanaian herself and really wanted to introduce me to Ghanaian cuisine. Once we arrived we immediately noticed that it was chaos. It was very difficult to contact the service. They were too busy with the same tables and running everywhere and nowhere. After a long time (1 hour...) of looking for eye contact and waving, at one point my girlfriend literally had to run after a server and tap her. She was ignored... eventually we were helped and were able to order. The music was so loud that customers could not hear each other and neither could the staff hear the customers. Everyone is literally shouting at each other. At one point, instead of sitting opposite my girlfriend, I sat next to her. Didn't really help but was a little better. The atmosphere was great and the tone was set: We were surrounded by dissatisfied customers. Some had waited so long for their food and service that they walked away and even invited us to go with them to another restaurant. I also saw people sending the food back to the kitchen out of dissatisfaction. But we remained hopeful. After 2.5 hours the food arrived. My girlfriend's order was completely wrong. Out of desperation she ate it and it wasn't bad. My soup was tasty but my tilapia was inedible. There was no taste at all, perhaps because it was put together in a hurry. After much effort, staff arrived. I saw earlier how indifferent and angry they can react towards customers when they are dissatisfied. We were told in annoyance that she was standing alone, that there were not enough staff on the floor and how busy it was. We shouldn't make things difficult... I'm still trying to understand how we can be blamed for this and how we are to blame for this? I was given a container to put the tilapia in for take away... We were advised against a new or additional order. I went home hungry. Delish is a great concept in a good location. I know that there is indeed good food and that it can be super fun. It's a shame that it happened this way and I'm sure that this staffing problem can be resolved quickly. Maybe this was just an incident.

It was recommended online and on my trip to Amsterdam, I stopped by to have a taste of home and it was an amazing experience. The food was out of this world and the ambience was scintillating. I had fried yam with sauce and Afang soup with poundo. The DJ was amazingly good with a mix old and new naija jams. A great time was had and I would recommend.

My brother recommended me to go there to eat because it's really delicious. That's why we're driving from Dortmund to Amsterdam just to eat there.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Order not delivered after 3 hours! Placed an order online via their website at 7:15 PM and it would be delivered around 8:00 PM. Contacted by telephone at 8:44 PM, the delivery person was said to be on his way but had a few more stops. It is now 10:27 PM and I have not received any food yet. Note: it was not a cheap order with delivery costs of €7.50 while nothing was delivered. I Ultimately, I spoke to them by phone at 10:32 PM and was able to cancel the order and get my money refunded immediately.

Fantastic meal... I had Afang and it was filling. Just the soup, no swallow and it was just enough. I should visit more often.

Ik heb hier heel lang over nagedacht als het waard zou zijn om een review te geven. Want ik ben echt van de “support your own”! Maar nee sorry dit doet me gewoon pijn. Banku met tilapia in het restaurant besteld en ik kreeg een halve tilapia. Ik dacht misschien hoort het zo laat maar. Tijd om te betalen, kwam ik erachter dat mijn gerecht niet op de bon staat en die van m’n vriendinnen wel. Ik maak hier een melding van en het werd niet eens gewaardeerd en ze wisten ook niet meer wat ik besteld had. Dus ik kon gewoon liegen of het laten gaan, maar dat zou ik nooit doen. De rekening betaald en ik kwam erachter dat die halve gebakken tilapia €20 kost en die banku apart €5. Ik vind dit echt een daylight robbery echt kom op zeg…De eigenares is super aardig en ik vind het niet kunnen dat sommige medewerkers hun werk niet goed doen. Dit is NL en geen GH. Als ze in een Nederlandse restaurant werkten, zouden ze veel beter hun best doen. Verder was het eten lekker en de sfeer was gezellig.

Leuke restaurant, alleen totaal niet van de service. Ik had ground-nut soup besteld met fufu. Eten was koud, kip was zelfs nog ijs. Ik had dit aangegeven, en wilde simpelweg wat anders eten, echter was er geen tussenweg in gevonden en moest ik alles gewoon betalen. Dat is zeer jammer.

For some authentic food, this is a decent please to visit and either sit down or take away. The prices are outrageously high. The food quality is good, but the prices will make you second guess the food. We ordered some Kelewele for seven euros, it came in a small container where you would normally put sauce in. The food is good, prices are too high.

Alles was goed, het eten was lekker. Alleen werd ik opgelicht met de prijzen😑 wat ik heel raar vond terwijl ik zovaak heb gegeten daar. Toen ik en mijn vrienden wouden betalen (wat origineel 96euro was) werd het van 96 euro 114 Euro.Vervolgens werd er gezegd dat de prijzen op de menu zijn veranderd dan denk ik bij mezelf waarom deel je dan die menukaarten uit en zeg je niks van tevoren?😕😕dit was de laatste keer voor mij.

This was my first time eating at the restaurant and it was amazing. I had the okra stew, with banku and plain rice. The food is freshly prepared and served warm by arrival. The portions are big, luckily I had some stretchy pants to fit every last bite. The rest I took home. Nana & Ricky thanks for the great service. And special thanks to the ladies in the kitchen (ms.D and others) cooking with tons of love and passion. Until the next time, I recommend Delish 10/10

The ambiance in the restaurant is very nice. I loved the wide open floor plan and the window in the ceiling. Food is presented nicely, taste of it was okay. I had the fried fish, which was heavily dry. The jollof was a bit bland. Lacked some depth. I would say try it for yourself.

Eten is heerlijk, maar ik houd er niet van om daar te eten. De muziek is veel en veel te hard. Ik heb meerdere keren gevraagd of de muziek zachter mag, maar telkens werd de muziek weer wat harder gezet. Echt super jammer, want daardoor wilde ik zo snel mogelijk naar huis. Nogmaals, het eten is wel echt een aanrader maar dan liever om mee naar huis te nemen.

Het eten is lekker maar je kunt daar echt niet lekker zitten eten, muziek is super hard je kan niet eens praten met de mensen waar je mee bent en de bediening is echt onaardig.

Het eten was super lekker!! Daarnaast was de service echt uitstekend, de serveerster was heel erg vriendelijk. Leuke, sfeervolle plek om te eten met ook nog hele leuke achtergrondmuziek om de ervaring af te maken. Zeker een aanrader dus! :)

Ik heb echt genoten! Het eten was heerlijk, goed geserveerd en lekker vullend. Verder was de vibe, de muziek, en vooral de gastvrijheid en -vriendelijkheid van Fiona echt subliem! Topservice! Hands down 5 sterren. :)

The food was AMAZING! Would love to have given 5 stars but our food did take long to come. I know that they are prepared freshly but there is always a way to speed up the process. It could be as simple as adding an extra chef to the kitchen to help prepare the food.

Food is amazing, but it took more than an hour to get drinks or food even though restaurant was practically empty. They kept loudly blending foods in front of the costumers in a nearby kitchen. Very slow and poor costumer service. Workers seem not to know how to run a restaurant. I don’t recommend going there to eat, maybe ordering in would be better. Atleast until the restaurant figures out a system to work efficiently.
