We had a delicious meal. We were warmly welcomed and the service was good. The staff is attentive and attentive. The meat and fries with salad are delicious. A tip I gave to a waitress at dessert, Dame Blanche: make sure you have a nice, dark, hot chocolate sauce. Then it's perfect. The French coffee was delicious, as were the beers. Thanks for a wonderful evening.

Our experience at Denver was unfortunately disappointing. We mentioned that we don't like spicy food, and no alternative was offered. Instead, we had to fish the jalapeños out of the dish ourselves. Then, the nachos turned out to be served without jalapeños, which would have been great if the waitress had mentioned that. Now, we spent 10 minutes fishing for something that wasn't there. With the dish, we only received a minimal amount of sour cream and guacamole: no more than a small spoonful. This is in stark contrast to the Valkenswaard branch, where you get more than enough of both. In addition, the air conditioning was so loud that it could be heard over the music, and it was also cold in the restaurant. The food itself wasn't bad, but it wasn't well-seasoned. All in all, the quality and customer focus were lacking. For us, this branch is a clear step down from Denver Valkenswaard. We hope another branch offers a better experience, because this one was truly disappointing.

Denver's price-quality ratio is lacking. I ordered Surf and Turf, a mediocre steak and four small scampi on a stick, while the menu listed prawns. My table companions had steak and spare ribs. Everything was simply dumped onto the plate without any further garnish. A small portion of fries and coleslaw (for four people!). So I ordered more, but the few fries we received were only half-cooked. In short, it all seemed very meager, even though the prices were not low.

Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience here. My spouse and I came for dinner with a reservation. The staff was friendly, positive, and helpful, but I feel that there were too few staff members for the number of tables. Our experience with the food, however, was very poor. The Denver Burger I ordered was probably the most carelessly prepared burger I’ve ever had. It wasn’t the worst I’ve eaten, but it was definitely the most sloppy. After waiting for an hour, it arrived with stale, falling-apart bread, a stick holding it together, iceberg lettuce and tomato slices that were cold and just taken from the fridge, and a thick, 2 cm slice of tomato—also cold. On top of the patty was a square slice of cheddar, also cold and carelessly placed. Overall, it felt like eating a cold salad in stale bread rather than a proper burger. I would have felt embarrassed serving this to a customer as a burger, and we waited an entire hour for it.

The food was delicious. The service was excellent, even though it was very busy and there were only two of us waiting, so we got everything very quickly and everything was perfect. They even took extra time for our children. The meatballs as a starter are highly recommended, as are all the main courses. In short, it was fantastic, and we will definitely be back and recommend the restaurant to friends and family.

The food was delicious. The quality was good and it was delivered quickly. Nice, generous portions that you can still finish without struggling. The meat was very tasty and cooked to your liking. The fries were also exceptionally good compared to other restaurants. The service was excellent, although it took a while for them to be brought out. Otherwise, nothing to complain about.

The food is all okay, but not exactly top-notch. I think it's a bit overpriced for what you get. The two of us ordered a BBQ plate to share, which came with meat, fries, and salad. Then we were asked which sauces we wanted. It's ridiculous that there's an extra €1.50 charge for each sauce, and it's not mentioned anywhere. You assume the sauce is included in a restaurant meal... €5.75 for a radler 0.0 is also a bit steep.

It's very cozy here when someone has a birthday, lots of people sing along, the food here is delicious, my family and I ate our bellies full. Thank you Denver for the good food👍👍👍👍👍

Nice place to eat if you are a meat lover, good staff. Service took a long time (about an hour between starter and main course), unlike other times. Owner noticed this and proactively apologized. For us it was a downside of this visit. Otherwise definitely recommended.

The steaks were very good. Also the food in general. The ambience is ok but not spectacular. I think in summer it's nice to sit outside too. Unfortunately our meal was very late that evening.

In my opinion, the pepper sauce was no longer good, it had a strange aftertaste. Don't dare to eat it. Furthermore, ALL THE FOOD was not hot. This was also told to the serving brigade. Can get a lukewarm response. When we left, we didn't even say hello properly. This experience is certainly not worth repeating.

The burger was ordered medium-rare and unfortunately well done. My table companion's cooking was perfect. Because I wanted to eat at the same time as my table companion , I didn't make a big deal about it. The price lists on the Internet also need to be updated. Taste is fine, but I see that the busyness in the kitchen leads to problems. Next time I will try to find a less busy time ;-)

Update Oct 2024 Everything still great. Unfortunately, due to time/society, it has of course become a bit more expensive. Still recommended for the rest... Great food, tasty, price/quality is great. Both the steak and the burgers are recommended here. There are also children's menu options with steak or burger. Which is very welcome within our family. Considering our children also like a piece of beef. Our eldest of 6 had the truffle burger, which was just a bit too much for him, but 60% of it was consumed. Fortunately, mom and dad still had a spot left. The side dish -- Fried/Coleslaw --- Great, flavorful. Sauces - Mushroom/pepper sauce/Denver 72 sauce, all fresh, tasty and nothing to complain about. Finally, finally a restaurant that serves hot chocolate at Dame Blanche... We will definitely come back again

Eten was goed. De service daarin tegen was vrij slecht. Mijn vriend en ik moesten 1uur wachten op ons eten. We hadden een serveerster gevraagd waar ons eten bleef. Als compensatie kregen we allebei 1 drankje vergoed dit was dan ook het goedkoopste drankje dat op de bon stond.

Super. But…. You are asked: which sauce would you like with it? And then you have to pay 7 euros for it afterwards? Ridiculous. For us it was a treat to go out for dinner. But then having to pay 7 euros for 2 cups of garlic? Sorry! It really put a damper on the festive spirit. Too bad.

We had a very good meal at Restaurant Denver in Weert; the meat was tender and perfectly prepared. Unfortunately, the experience was greatly overshadowed by the lousy service. From the start it took a long time before we were helped at all. When we finally ordered our drinks (beer 0.0), the waitress forgot to bring them. After we had to remind her of this, the drinks came with apologies. After placing our order it again took a very long time for the food to arrive, again with apologies for the delay. We then wanted to order some more 0.0 beer, but it turned out to be empty, which was again accompanied by an apology. When we finally wanted to pay, no one came to our table again. After walking inside to pay, it turned out that the waitress had forgotten us again and was even about to say goodbye to us while we still had to pay. It's a shame that a good meal, with tender meat, had to have such a disappointing experience due to poor service.

It's been a long time since I've had the opportunity to have a bite to eat with the family. After a cheerful welcome we were assigned a rather sticky table. Plates looked neat, the food tasted great. Until my husband pulled a long blond hair out of his steak while eating a piece of meat. He didn't want to make a fuss about this, but I thought we could at least mention this to the waitress. When he finally came along, there was hardly any response. No indication that people found it annoying, no apologies, no appropriate response, nothing. Normally I don't like reviews and this could have been avoided if communication had been different. Mistakes can happen, but an expression of interest or attempt to fix something would have led to a different rating.

Wow, they know how to prepare meat here. The wife had spare ribs and I had the American steak. Great service.

We wilden even snel wat eten en kwamen dit restaurant tegen. We bestellen alleen een hoofdgerecht: picanha met friet en coleslaw. Het vlees was goed medium gebakken, alleen misten we de chimichurri (wat op de kaart stond). Je kunt wel onbeperkt friet en coleslaw bestellen. Daarbij bestellen we voor ieder een glas rode wijn. Met als afsluiter ieder een groene thee. De bediening was aardig, attent, snel en correct.

Had a great welcome. When making the reservation, I indicated that my husband and son were celebrating their birthday and upon arrival there was a decorated table ready with 2 gift bags. Very attentive! We had a delicious meal there. Nice and tender meat and well cared for. Generous portions and the rolls and aoili are very tasty. The service is very friendly and hospitable. We will definitely keep coming back here.

Flat Iron steak was raw instead of medium, sent back to the kitchen, it came out burnt on the outside still raw insude. To my complaint the answer was, hopefully next time will be better. Well, for me no next time. Not recommended at all.

Dinner at Denver was fine. Food was tasty, I didn't like the prawns much, the tenderloin was tasty and well cooked! It's just a shame that we were placed at a 12-person table with 4 people! (We just made a reservation well in advance). After all, it doesn't look so cozy after all. Service was okay, it was very busy on arrival (reserved at 7am), so we sometimes had to wait a long time for someone to come. But all in all, a great meal!

Het restaurant zag er op de website erg leuk uit maar daar bleef het helaas bij. We hadden een bbq-plank besteld met als extra een maïskolf. Ons werd niet even gezegd dat er ook een maïskolf op de plank zelf zou liggen waardoor we met 2 zaten. Ook lag er een gepofte aardappel op zonder enige garnituur of saus waardoor je gewoon gekookte aardappel zat te eten. Het vlees was niet erg bijzonder en de patat was net aan gaar en al lauw toen deze bij ons aankwam. Het personeel was ook erg jong en stond meer met elkaar te ouwehoeren dan op te letten of mensen nog iets wilden drinken. Erg jammer want verder is het een leuk restaurant.

Unfortunately only 2 stars. Denver Weert used to be a nice and affordable restaurant with nice light burgers and good fries. The last time we visited, the hostess informed us that we were arriving with one more person than we had reserved for. However, this was not the case. This came across as very unfriendly because she herself was in the wrong and did not bring it up as a question but as a statement. It made us feel unwelcome. However, the most important thing for posting this review is the food. The food is no longer as good as it used to be. The fries are of inferior quality (just come from a bag) and the meat is fried far too firmly, it used to be much fluffier. In addition, it has switched to a cheaper sandwich. All this to incur as few costs as possible. Then the prices are raised! Not a nice combination if you ask us. In any case, we won't be coming back here again.

Eerste x bij Denver. Bij t uitreiken van de menukaart werd ons niet verteld dat de avond ervoor de american steak op was gegaan. Dit werd verteld toen we al besteld hadden en de bestelling al bij de kok arriveerde. Hele bijzondere gang van zaken. Daarna opnieuw besteld. Duidelijk aangegeven dat we wel een warm stuk biefstuk wilden. Tuurlijk, de kok weet wel hoe hij de biefstuk moet bakken, zei de eigenaresse. De bief die we kregen was helaas wel koud. Werd weer teruggestuurd. Jammer! Gemiste kansen voor een steakrestaurant. Rode wijn kreeg ik in een witte wijnglas, zeer karig. Wij komen niet meer terug :(

First time at Denver. When the menu was handed out, we were not told that the American steak had been consumed the night before. This was told when we had already ordered and the order had already arrived at the chef. Very special turn of events. Then ordered again. Clearly indicated that we wanted a hot piece of steak. Sure, the chef knows how to cook the steak. Unfortunately, the steak we received was cold. Was sent back again. Shame! Missed opportunities for a steak restaurant. Red wine was served in a white wine glass, very sparse. We won't be back :(

Denver has a nice atmosphere, more of a Texas/ Mid West scenery. It was nice with the country music. The appetizers were great! The wings and onion rings were spot on for me. The bread was good too, but you really can't mess that up! For my wife and I, things started going downhill when we had to wait an hour and a half to receive our food. It was not worth the wait! They do not season or cook the food properly. My wife had steak medium rare, which it was not. It was more of a seared steak. The steak was cooked on the outside and raw on the inside. It was not the nice moist pink that you would expect from a medium rare, it was red! As for me, I had the Mile High Burger. It wasn't that great! It had no flavor, and the middle of both patties were not cooked fully through. The burger was normal at first but mushy in the middle. It's not a nice texture! The coleslaw was bland. This took an hour to make? It wasn't quality. With that much time, it could have at least been cooked right! I understand the Dutch don't cook with a lot of spices. I am pretty sure this steakhouses at one point was good, but not anymore. Service was abysmal! For a restaurant that only had two other tables beside us, we felt ignored. One table was already eating and the other just arrived. For the hour and a half we waited for the main course to arrive we were not tended to. Well into our appetizers, we had empty glasses. The waitress was there and walked past us three times. Did not ask if we wanted more to drink or "How is your food?" For the hour and a half, she was there, leaning on the bar looking at her phone facing us. It was an awkward long wait. I even tried to wave her down. I was going to get up but she went to the bathroom. Finally our steak arrived then she asked if we wanted more to drink. Had she given us good service, she could have sold us two or three more drinks! A restaurant with the name of an American state you would assume, "Ah! American style steakhouse!" The food is subpar at best! The appetizers were better than the main course! This is coming from an American who knows what a good steakhouse is, and this is not it. I do not recommend this restaurant, and if you do go, go with low expectations, especially if you're from the US!

Had take-away from Denver street food bar today. We ordered spare ribs twice. Unfortunately, these were not as tasty as they were in corona times when we could pick them up. The meat was dry, tasteless and not tender at all. If I saw correctly, they just came warmed from the oven instead of nice and fresh from the grill. For 17 euros you would also expect some fries, just like in corona times. I will definitely never get takeout from here again.

What a nice place, with nice staff. Food is good. We were unlucky to be the forgotten table, had to wait a long time for the 1st drink and 2nd drink. The dishes also took a long time, of which the tenderloin salad had to be returned because it was rare instead of medium. All in all a bit of a disappointment, but I suspect it was a totally understaffed evening in terms of staff. We were given an apology and the staff would be spoken to, but unfortunately there was no compensation for us, which would have been nice. There was also no toilet paper in the toilet and after reporting it I had no idea that anything was being done with it, unfortunately.

Ordered food from Denver Street Food yesterday but was very disappointed. Considering the website you expect something, but you receive a cold, missing order. During the telephone contact about what was missing, no one listened. After a lot of effort and hassle I was able to come back (unfortunately cold food again). Posted a review on Facebook but it was deleted up to 4 times. Have now received a private message with 'what do you want to achieve'. After explaining the story again, there is no further response. An honest review is therefore not appreciated!! To my knowledge not the best solution. Unfortunately for us there won't be a second time!

Bij binnenkomst leek alles prima maar al snel was dit een grote teleurstelling. Bediening kwam tussendoor niet vragen of we nog iets wilden drinken. Er werd niet afgeruimd, hier hebben we uiteindelijk zelf maar om gevraagd. Er werd niet gevraagd of we nog een desert wilden. Ook de gastvrouw die ons bij binnenkomst naar onze tafel begeleide hebben we nergens meer gespot. Er werd dus uiteindelijk eigenlijk niks meer gevraagd. Personeel stond voornamelijk te kletsen aan de bar. Eten was opzich oke maar niet bijzonder. Ook de prijs stond niet in verhouding voor wat we kregen..ik heb dit alles gemeld aan de persoon waarbij ik moest afrekenen. Alleen was dit het meisje van de bar die kon er dus eigenlijk niks aan doen. Eind conclusie: Voor ons geen Denver meer.

The food and the meat was really tasty and fresh. 🥩😊 I only have two bad points and I think that you need to improve: the big delay for waiting to start to eat (around 45min) and the restaurant wasn’t even full and the tables were not so well clean (everytime I put my arms in table I felt the stickiness of the table).

We came here for Mother's Day for dinner, the restaurant was not overly busy. Ordered a tenderloin twice and a kids menu twice. Ordered 1 tenderloin medium rare and a medium well. Both were just weird. Sent my husband's back because I also like it strangely. My husband's came back 10 minutes later, medium well on the inside but almost black on the outside from being scorched on the grill/plate.. too bad! You pay €40 per piece of meat for that... Kids menu 1 was with chicken nuggets, which was fine. Kids menu 2 was with a mini hamburger. The concept is nice but the hamburger was raw on the inside. Really very raw. As much as my 2 (almost 3) year old daughter loves burgers, she devoured half of them. When I saw that it was raw, I told a waitress that I really didn't think it was okay for a child that it was not prepared properly, and they only said "I understand that". My daughter has been sick from this for 3 days and has severe diarrhea. Unfortunately this was once and never again. Paid €135 for raw meat and chicken nuggets.

Worked for a week with a colleague and spent the night in Weert. For the second evening we found Denver via Google to have something to eat. The first evening we chose the BBQ plate menu for 2, the second evening we chose the spareribs and the third evening we chose the BBQ picanha. The food is excellent, a lovely casual atmosphere and the service is great!!! Highly recommended!

Nice place, great staff who know what they are talking about. May they be very happy with it. Food was good, slow cooked pork belly was great, mixed grill was also delicious, I didn't like the Grand dessert, €17.50 is excessive, bavarois was Bittter, no real whipped cream either which is a shame.

We had Denver Burgers and it was very tasty! Larger burger with fries, mayo and lettuce... The interior is modern and spacious, with a pleasant decoration for the dining room/bar and perhaps with little natural light for lunch... However, the evaluation is quite positive! Really enjoyable evening, the staff were very friendly and didn’t bother us while we were eating. I had the 500g Rib-eye with pepper sauce, it came with coleslaw and a good portion of homemade fries. The steak was beautifully cooked and tasted Devine, fries were also great, the coleslaw was not to my taste, I feel it could have been sweeter. I would definitely come back to try more things off the menus in the near future.

Specially drove from Helmond to Denver (instead of Rodeo or Sopranos), after a very good experience earlier. A truly top restaurant with super hospitable and service-oriented staff! The card was different this time, very nice size and neatly laid out with plenty of choice! The food was delicious, from soup to main course. Tip 1 State more clearly on the menu that fries and vegetables including sauce are included in the dish😊. Tip 2 Arrange the plates neatly with a garnish of a few pieces of warm vegetables, for example, instead of just one piece of meat. Tip 3, stick sticks in the meat what/what is😁. Top! the girl who kept our table at 100 points. We will definitely come back, we had a delicious meal and good service!
